Westwind # 803 es un condominio interior con baño y frente al golfo ubicado en el sexto piso con vista al Golfo de México. La unidad es de aproximadamente 700 pies cuadrados con vistas al golfo desde la sala de estar. El condominio cuenta con literas y una cocina totalmente equipada con lavadora y secadora. Hay un baño completo con una combinación de bañera / ducha. El dormitorio principal se encuentra en el lado norte del condominio.
Westwind es un edificio de 9 pisos con 4 unidades por piso ubicado a 1 milla al oeste de la autopista 59 en Gulf Shores. Westwind tiene una piscina al aire libre y área de parrillas.
Quedarse y jugar
Este alquiler viene con nuestro 'Paquete Stay and Play'. Cada noche recibirás:
-una ronda de golf gratis para un adulto al día;

5 Days Right On the Beach

Very enjoyable stay. The place was very clean and as advertised. The building is older, but well maintained. The building is right on the beach and provided immediate access. We found the parking spaces to be fairly narrow and the door lock took a few tries, but overall excellent stay and would rent again.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was clean and the bed was super comfy. The location is amazing which is why this was my 3rd time staying at the Westwind. I did not like the constant water coming through the floor tiles near the AC unit. I was constantly soaking it up and drying towels for 8days. The kitchen cabinets were in bad shape and there were broken and missing tiles on the balcony. It was still a beautiful vacation spot.

Great location, dated condo

Overall, the condo was fine. It could use a deep clean and some updates. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. My son opted to sleep on the couch bc the bunk beds felt too closed in. The elevator broke on check out day, so hauling all our gear down 8 stories was a bummer. The view and location was gorgeous.

Wonderful place to stay!!

We loved our condo at Westwind. The place was so cute and beachy! Surprisingly spacious for a one bedroom. Our balcony was directly over the beach and the sound of the waves crashing at night was so peaceful. I highly recommend booking with Gulf Shores rentals for your next vacation!

the perfect beach getaway

we absolutely LOVED our stay & everything about it. it was perfect for my husband and i, and our 3 younger siblings!! all of us stayed for the hangout festival, and it was such a quick walk to and from the fest along with everywhere else we wanted to go. also the property manager was so sweet & helpful!! we loved being right on the beach as well. definitely will be staying again.

They offered to fix it immediately but it wasn't necessary. They provided excellent customer service. I would recommend this to everyone. The restaurants were provided excellent food. People were very friendly.

Great property!

I enjoyed staying here, but the property was a little dated. Some mold on the ceiling, and some of the cabinets didn’t open right. A few tiles were missing on the balcony. A few aesthetic updates might be needed, but other than that great property!

The unit is older and could use a refresh with flooring (it is hard to keep the sand cleaned up on the tile and grout). The washer and dryer are so small. I could do 2 beach towels at a time and that was it (they had to dry twice). The kitchen has everything you could need. Pans, pot, and many dishes so you don’t have to do dishes all the time.The balcony has a great view!

Fun time

Clean. Bed was comfortable. Balconey was great. Beach was fabulous. Restaurants (sea and suds Bahamas bobs and steamer baked oyster bar..all really good food and service! Suggestions.. bedroom window is next to outdoor light ..like sleeping in parking lot..NEEDS a blackout shade badly! Include extra roll of toilet paper. Recommend having a regular coffee pot. Made one call to rental company for info and assist with parking for friend’s couple hour visit..very helpful. Will recommend to friends and family. Thank you

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great price, great location. Some suggestions: replace the broken dishes (measuring cups), make sure silverware is clean before putting them away. Fix the hole in the ceiling. And make sure the elevators are working properly. The security guard at one point stopped the elevator while we were inside. Vacuum the lint behind dryer filter out. We still had a great time and would love to rent it again if the minor things are taken care of.

The refrigerator didn’t cool that well and the freezer didn’t seem to keep our food frozen. One of the bunk beds was sandy when we arrived. The elevator was not working one night when we returned from dinner but it was fixed by the next morning. The kids loved the pool and I loved how close the wall was to the beach. Was just steps away and the shower location was extremely helpful as well.

Some of the cabinet doors had clearly seen better days and there are a few questionable mold looking spots on the ceiling. Also, the fact that there isn’t some sort of blackout curtain/screen in the main bedroom is insane. The hall light shines in the bedroom all night long and keeps it practically like daylight. I don’t know how anyone can sleep through that. Would go from good to great with just a few improvements.

Great getaway

We had a wonderful stay. The property is older, but do not let this stop you from staying here. It is close to all the fun stuff. We got an Uber on the nights we wanted to go out and have drinks. One night we walked back to the condo, on the beach, from The Hangout. It took us about 30 min, but it was a nice walk. The pool was very nice. We sat on the balcony every morning and watched the waves as we drank our coffee. The property was clean, and we saw someone wiping down high traffic areas daily. There was a very nice gentleman that sat at the driveway of the property making sure no one came in that did not belong. On our first day, it rained ALL day. We stayed in the condo. I was impressed with how comfortable the furniture is. I know this is probably not a priority for some, but since we had to stay in all day, I was glad to have nice furniture to sit on. The king bed was comfortable. Thanks for a great stay.

Met our Needs

The location of the property was great! The lot security folks were very friendly and helpful when needed. The restaurants in the area were fabulous. The beach was great, we did not use the pool much but there were a few families in there most of the time, enjoying it. Having a washer and dryer was great even though they are very small. The unit could use some upgrades or minor fixing. The cabinet doors could use some tightening of the screws. There what looked like a mold spot on the ceiling between the kitchen and washer/dyer area. We did have water leaking in the washer/dryer closet, just some drips but noticeable. The bedroom window definitely needs a blackout curtain, it seemed like daylight in the middle of the night in the bedroom, the light was so bright. There were some tiles were missing from the balcony. There was one roll of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, mini dish soap and sponge, 2 dishwasher tablets and 2 extra garbage bags, a few hand soap bars in the bathroom and one packet of laundry soap. Per the description we were not expecting any of this minus the one roll of toilet paper and was a nice surprise. It would have been nice for an extra roll of toilet paper and a bottle counter cleaner.

Almost every other VRBO I have stayed in will have the basics - salt, pepper, trash bags, etc. This place had ONE small roll of toilet paper and paper towels. So that makes for extra stuff you have to purchase at the store, even if you're only there a few days.

Property was clean and comfortable. The beach wasn’t too crowded and the air conditioner worked well! The only downside was no smart tv in the master bedroom and the parking, we have a Silverado 2500 was really tight and sometimes there were no spaces 😔. Overall a great experience!

A good winter stay
