Laura was the best host we have ever had. She was so kind and gracious and thought of everything we could have needed. Everything was so clean and adorable. Even the hot tub was spotless. We had such a wonderful time making memories at such a nice place. We loved going out on the lake on her pontoon. It was exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting a nice place. We would stay here again for sure.

Family Lake Vacation

Perfect vacation spot for our families

Fun in the jacuzzi, well-maintained dock, great pontoon boat (be sure to sign on for it), huge deck with two dining tables and four really comfortable chaises for lounging while you enjoy the lake view. Extra large grill. Plenty to keep the kids busy and happy. Friendly and very cooperative owner.

Girl’s Weekend 2023!

This was our yearly girls weekend and we came across this beautiful big house that had plenty of room for 10 ladies! The beach, the sandy back yard, the lake, the 3 bathrooms! 1 on each floor! Loved every bit of our stay!! The bonus when we arrived was the fenced in yard for our pups to run around in and be safe! We are planning to return back next year!!

Beautiful house on a quiet lake enjoyed our stay!

Very impressed with how well equipped house was for guests,,had everything you wound need! The whole family had plenty of room and enjoyed the whole property inside and out. Was able to take day trips to different cities that were very close nearby., and the brewery right on the lake was a hidden gem.also thanks to Laura for being such a great host! we had no problems but she let us know she was available if we needed anything and kept in touch to make sure we were ok.

My family had a very enjoyable stay in the homey atmosphere provided by this home. We could easily keep track of our little ones who loved to run around and play at the beach while the others enjoyed the water. Beyond wonderful!

We had an amazing week at the Beegle home! House was roomy, all beds were super comfortable, loved the bed linens, great separation of quiet places and room for all family activities. Kitchen was well appointed, deck was just delightful, hot tub was sooo great, and plenty of recreational games and water floaties. Most incredible tho was the lake!! We caught fish, and actually had a fish fry, so enjoyed playing on the lily pad and kids and adults alike had a blast! We will be back for sure!! And Laura was very responsive, helpful and friendly!!

Nothing short of amazing!

We couldn’t have had a better stay with our two pups! The home was so puppy friendly, extremely clean, comfortable, really had everything you’d need and then some! Laura was so sweet in meeting us and making us feel welcome with our dogs. She reviewed all the details with us and provided great tips on things to do in the surrounding area. We checked out the brewery on the lake and met the friendliest people - good beer too! Would highly recommend to anyone looking in this area! Very grateful for the time we had there and for such a great host!

Wonderful gettaway at Beagle Beach

We had a blast at Beagle Beach and will definitely be back. From the second we booked until the end of our stay Laura was there to address our questions and give us all the details about the house, boat and area. We maybe made one or two trips into town for food and spent all our time relaxing on the beach, around the fire pit or playing ping pong or foosball downstairs. The house is huge with plenty of space for two families. The kitchen is clean and well equipped . The kitchen, living/dining room are open concept and look right onto the lake. The backyard is filled with super soft sand and great for young kids to play and perfect set up for fire pit. My kids loved the place and were not happy when we had to leave. We went with the pontoon rental and glad we did. The pontoon is new and perfect for cruising around the lake with the whole family. Overall we could not have been happier about our stay and WILL be back. Thank Laura for making our little getaway so wonderful.

Beautiful, bright home in Michigan

We just stayed this past weekend for a ski trip to Bittersweet Ski Resort in Ostego. The house is about 25 min from the resort which worked out great! Laura the owner is quite possibly one of the kindest people I have ever met. She is sweet, welcoming, and checked on us to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The house was extremely clean, the pictures don't do it justice, it is a beautiful home and it is situated on a nice little lake. The home is equipped with everything and anything you may need. It was perfect for us having 3 families, (my parents, my sister and her hubby and 4 kids, as well as my husband and I and our 2 year old. It was also nice finding something that was doggie friendly :) 3 full bedrooms with bathrooms on each floor and living spaces for all the families worked out great. The home is comfortable, bright, and each bedroom and bed, even the couches were so comfy for everyone! We had a fabulous stay and we are so grateful Laura let us rent it for the winter since she typically doesn't do winter rentals. I highly recommend this home and the owner is the best!

Comfortable Home in a Great Location

Our extended family of 6 (my husband and me, our daughter and son-in-law, and their children ages 4 and 6) spent a very enjoyable week in August at the Beegle Beach House. The house was furnished comfortably, the kitchen well stocked with dishes and cookware, and the beds comfortable. The little ones loved playing in the backyard sand and splashing in the very shallow water at the end of the property along the shore of a small lake. We never had to worry about their safety since the water came only to their waists even at the end of the pier. We decided not to rent the pontoon boat tied to the pier, so I'm not sure whether we adults would have enjoyed swimming farther from shore. I saw no other lake residents swimming and very little boating activity during our stay. It was always extremely quiet, which I appreciated as I sat and watched my grand kids play in the water. We adults made good use of the hot tub most evenings, and the kids joined us several times at the fire pit for s'mores. Mosquitoes were never a problem. The kids loved using the hose and sprayer on the deck to rinse off the sand before going inside. The house is not far from South Haven, Saugatuck, and Holland with lots of fun attractions. The kids loved the Air Zoo and Silver Beach's carousel and playground, and we all enjoyed the Saugatuck dune ride. The Fennville winery tour and tastings were fun for my daughter and her husband, who were impressed at the quality of the wines offered. Laura, the owner of the beach house, was consistently helpful and prompt in answering all my questions. I'm very glad we chose her house for our annual family vacation.

10 out of 5 - You read that right

This property is absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful sandy beach, large deck, hot tub, clean living spaces, large pontoon to go out and float around on. Everything we needed was there. Our host Laura, was and is a magnificent woman. We had a big storm that knocked out the power and she sprung into action immediately and saved our trip! We couldn't have asked for a better vacation or host. Just wish we had more time there. WE WILL BE BACK to Beagle Beach.

Lakefront Oasis

Overall it was a very pleasant stay at a well outfitted home. We used everything Laura had to offer at her large home. Renting the pontoon boat was a great idea and really added to the experience. The hot tub is really a nice touch and we took advantage of it. A range extender would be helpful if you want to use wi fi in the upstairs bedroom. The signal is pretty weak. Overall this is a great property for a large family or to share with friends.

Family time on Scott lake

Excellent facility for a 3family group. Each family had their own sleeping area and bath. Plenty of room to play together and also separate. Quiet. Lake was small but having a pontoon boat was helpful. Rusty Rocket home brewery on the lake was a delight

Amazing vacation house

This property provided all the amenities and space you could want or need to create a vacation filled with fun times and memories! The property was clean and Laura was an attentive host who made herself available if ever needed. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and water toys/boat provided many hours of fun and enjoyment by all! We thoroughly enjoyed our visits to the new brewery on the lake and the beer selection was outstanding! Our first visit to Michigan area was enjoyed by whole family!

A great large family getaway!

We had 8 people stay at Beegle Beach in early June and for a few days 3 more family members joined us. The house was absolutely perfect for this size group. The house and property is thoughtfully setup to accommodate renters and was an ideal place for renters looking for a peaceful getaway on a smaller lake with little to no traffic/noise. We fished, we swam, we boated and we relaxed. When the temps were a bit chilly, we warmed in the very clean, well-kept hot tub. The large deck and ample seating allowed us all to hang out and socialize while some warmed in the hot tub. The town did not offer our group very much but the lake and the home did. Also, it is a short drive to South Haven and Saugatuck. We even enjoyed our time at the Brewery on the lake that is open by appointment. Thank you Laura for sharing your home with us. We highly recommend this rental to similar size groups looking for quality time with family in a comfortable lake home.

Beautiful

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful and we loved how close the lake was. The leaves were changing colors and we had a camp fire every night. We played corn hole and board games. We also enjoyed the boat and fishing. So relaxing! Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing environment. Laura was super friendly and kept in touch during our stay!!! 😁

This is our family's Lake house. My Dad purchased the property in 1991 and built a small house/cabin. There are 4 of us (children) and we have been coming out to the lake house for years. We even helped to build the cabin. It is great, we have our own lake to fish & play, but we also have "in our opinion" one of the best lakes in North America, 15 minutes away. Lake Michigan!!
In 2005 we had a fire that destroyed the home. We were devastated and lost many of our families priceless momentous , photos & furniture(losing grandma's afghans & quilts was the worst for me) My dad was the best and said we can rebuild and not to worry! That is the home you see today. He worked with the architect and builder to create the perfect house for us. Unfortunately we lost our Dad suddenly in 2012. We didn't know what to do, we were so sad, and didn't want to lose our families Lake home. My sister & I were lucky enough to be able to purchase the property and keep it in the family.
Our goal is to offer our home to families so they can have amazing life memories here too!

It is rare to find a home on a lake that is secluded. That is us. We sit on just over 2 acres and have 110 feet of frontage. The beach is very sandy and perfect for kids
