Lakefront pintoresca casa recientemente renovada, duerme seis con dos baños completos!

Recientemente remodelada casa frente al lago, dos dormitorios, dos baños completos, cocina amueblada, porche trasero apantallado adjunto, cochera y muelle con cabaña con mosquitero con malla.
La casa se renovó recientemente con nuevos pisos de madera sintética, pintura, baño principal completamente renovado, alfombras para exteriores en el porche recién cubierto, colchones y ropa de cama nuevos.
La casa está en un lago privado completamente abastecido en una comunidad con escritura restringida. Un canal para el río San Juan se encuentra al otro lado de la recaudación que corre a lo largo de la casa.
Traiga su bote, si tiene uno, hay un muelle disponible en el canal del río.
La zona es tranquila y apartada. La vida salvaje está en todas partes, desde burros en miniatura hasta pavos.
Hay excelentes restaurantes cerca. Una carpeta con información del restaurante y de comestibles se proporciona en la casa.
El río San Juan se llama la Capital de los bajos del mundo. ¡Cogí un bajo de 11 onzas el año pasado!
San Agustín está a 50 minutos. La playa también cuenta con un parque infantil y parque infantil. Puede visitar el área del antiguo fuerte, comprar en el centro comercial, puntos de venta, mercados de agricultores y mercadillo. Incluso hay una granja de caimanes.
La playa Crescent está a 40 minutos y la playa Flagler a 50 minutos.

Lakeside Holiday

We spent a happy, peaceful, and comfortable week in this cozy home. We were 10 minutes away from our son and family—including our adult grandkids—and so we could be together each day. Board games, walks, kayaks, a jon boat, meals from the kitchen—we had it all. We recommend this great location and are very grateful to our hosts.

Perfect location

This is the cutest place. We stayed so we could do my husbands dirtbike race in Palatka, but still be close enough to do Daytona supercross and some of bike week. It was perfect. We spent every night enjoying the deck. Highly recommend!

Nice weekend getaway

We had a wonderful time exploring the area and visiting St Augustine for a day trip then Gainesville for the Gatornationals and dining in the local eateries. Renegades on the River was wonderful, Mema’s Family Restauraunt had an excellent affordable breakfast and Shrimp- R-Us had a great dinner menu - the food was very good . The rental accommodations were nice and affordable with easy access to a variety of places to explore. Thank you for sharing your home with us . We enjoyed our time at your home.

Very quiet, roomie, clean,comfortable and homey!

Pamela was great at responding very quickly to all of our questions. Everything was in good repair and clean. We were a party of four adults and found the home to be very spacious and comfortable. ( Plenty of room for more people ) I would definitely recommend this place and return for another stay!

Cute, quite and clean place!

We stayed with our boys to go mudding and fishing! The pond was fun and caught a couple of fish! Neighbors all friendly! Even the otter said hello a couple times! The place was clean, quite area and very comfortable for all of us. The hosts are amazing and made everything super easy. Thanks so much!!

Country living in the Ocala Forest

Home was accurately listed, with generous essentials. Friendly, safe tight knit community. Fishing in the pond in the backyard was a real treat. Husband caught a 6# and 9# personal best bass!! Restaurants and grocery stores are a little bit of a drive back on the main road. For groceries go to Walmart in Palatka for best prices. Good prime rib special at 3 Bananas. Good Shrimp special at ShrimpsRUs (name?) You know you're in a forest because you can smell the fresh scent of pine in the breeze.

Quiet area

Nice quiet area. Good for walking and riding bikes. Great place to go fishing off the dock. The floor at the sliding glass door seems to be a little weak. The floor is separating from the wall along the wall where the sliding glass door is. The separation is large enough that you can see the ground beneath. Smoke detector is twin bedroom is not working. If you are sensitive to mold this is not the place for you. The front door needs a good cleaning, the large burner on the stove does not work, The dock chairs are either broken or nasty, rust on the washer and dryer.

Birthday vacation

We all enjoyed our stay at this house and really enjoyed the view. The rooms in the house were roomy and adequate for 3 adults and a dog. We truly enjoyed the dock for fishing and the 2 kayaks that we were able to row in the small pond/river in the backyard. The neighborhood was very quiet and not far to drive to stores and restaurants. Only 10 minutes away we found a tiny spring water deposited pond that was a 3/4 of a mile hike to get to it, but it was refreshing and relaxing. The only problems we ran into was that this house advertised they had a grill and 2 bicycles that were available but the grill did not work, nor were the bicycles rideable. We had to buy a small charcoal grill but it poured and rained all evening that we couldn't use it. One bicycle had a flat and the other had a bent rim that scraped. We also struggled to get the 2 ovens to work. So we had to fry our steak for my Birthday dinner. We wished the lawn was cut before we got to the house. Because it rained every day the lawn got too tall and stirred up bugs when you walked on it. Other than those dissapointments we enjoyed the use of the house that was very clean and reasonably equipped with essentials.

Peaceful place

We pick a nice place but bad weather that weekend it rained hard everyday and when the sun came out it lasted for one hour then rain again.

Relaxing fishing staycation

Renting this property was very easy and hassle free. It is definitely as advertised, I think the best thing about this property is the neighbor. He came by and introduced himself and told us the secret to fishing in his lake, this was a game changer for us. It was my moms 78th birthday and all she wanted to do was relax and fish. The boat was a nice touch to be available for free to use. My teen granddaughter was happy the bike was available for use. We saw a beautiful woodpecker, snake (non poisonous) And 2 baby alligators. We will definitely return. The host answered all of my questions before arrival so I didn’t heed her services while I was there.

Convenient and comfortable

The property was located on a small side road and it was very quiet. We booked this location to be near relatives in Satsuma and it proved to be just what we needed. 4 adults enjoyed the space including the rear porch that overlooked the fishing pond.

We are from a small town in Indiana. We were married in 2016 and have an amazing blended family with seven grand children.
I started hunting and fishing with Martin several years ago. We enjoy traveling and hunting together across the US and Mexico.

We love this area of Florida! It is so versatile. The river is amazing. There are plenty of hunting and fishing opportunities nearby. Beaches and big cities are as near as forty-five minutes. Local shopping and restaurants are nearby or as far away as you prefer. Almost everyone that visits falls in love with this more remote area of Florida!

The home is a cozy two bedroom/two bath. We offer a grill, kayaks, life jackets, two bicycles with helmets, a hammock, fishing poles, fish cleaning station, fire pit w/two chairs, WiFi w/a smart tv, and a newly built deck with chairs. We also have a dedicated work space and printer along with an electric fireplace, a walk in master closet, washer & dryer, deck w/table & chairs incl lay out chair, and a screened porch w/ table & chairs and wicker patio set. Tennis racket & balls, badminton set, poker chips, books, games, and dvd’s. There are plenty of fish in the lake ! If you prefer the river and bring a boat, just let us know and we have a tie up available just across the levee.
Everything you need for a fabulous vacation or a couple days get away!
