The condo was clean. The kitchen was great. The Beach view was great and the Tidewater employees were great. Emerald Coast pcb did a great job setting up our stay and getting the necessary info to us.

The condo looked beautiful from the pictures and we couldn’t wait to arrive for the week. Upon arrival we were instantly met with a musky smell in the condo. The condo was filthy, hair and other things in the shower. We actually had to clean the before we stayed in it. The carpet needs replaced. It smells and is very badly stained. There was a hole in the top of the bathroom door, the trim work/walls were dirty. This condo could be absolutely amazing, but unfortunately it hasn’t been taken care of. Elevators were down in both the hotel and parking garage.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location with lots of activities nearby. The outdooor pool was nice and not overly crowded. Would definitely stay here again. The only downside would be the elevator situation however they were actively working on them during our stay.

The apartment was fine loved it. The elevators on the other hand was a nightmare. They were broken down most of the time. Let me tell you WALKING UP 7 flights of stairs was terrible. Made you not want to even leave the apartment it was so bad. Hopefully they can fix them. I really hate it for people on top floors.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was great. It was clean and well stocked. The elevators were so slow despite there being at least 7 of them. That made it difficult to just run to your room if you needed something. Overall we were pleased but would not stay again.

Great trip

We had a great time. No problems, everything was exactly as we expected. The condo was beautiful. The only thing was the fact that with two beautiful pools, neither was heated. In early May you really need a heated pool. But we really enjoyed the experience.

Spring break 2025

Overall impression… the pictures make it look nicer than it is. The condo itself needed a full top to bottom cleaning. Splatters of mystery stains on the walls and ceilings. Some blood looking splatter stain on bedroom carpet with the queen beds. Dirty baseboards and ceiling fans. A cracked dining room chair. Non functioning can openers and worn out kitchen pans. Holes in the bedspreads and a really beat up worn out mattress on sofa sleeper. Our first night there we noticed one of the queen beds was very squeaky so we looked under to see if something was loose. The entire bed frame was falling apart. Noticed the other bed was on a slant, that frame and box spring were also broken. My kids had to sleep like that for the first two nights. Then we spent most of the day on the third day with a repair guy in and out while they replaced said bed frames and box springs as we didn’t want to leave the condo unattended. There were shootings at Pier Park one night. A lot of ill behaving teenagers wandering around blasting music full of profanities with little ears all around, not just being teenagers, but incredibly loud and disrespectful. Non stop smell of either cigarette smoke or marijuana day in and out. As others have mentioned, the elevator wait times can be lengthy. The outdoor pools are not heated so pretty chilly. I will give some credit to Emerald Coast Destinations for taking care of the bed situation, however they shouldn’t have been that way to begin with.

Worse experience of my life

Bed bug was found and although they refunded money that didn’t make the disaster of them just kicking us out of our room with no where to go any better. It was 5pm and had traveled 12 hours with 4 little kids.I would never recommend EDCI rental company to anyone!!!Honestly the worse experience of my life and I’ve stayed a lot of different places.

Family vacation

We will likely not be staying at the Tidewater resort again. This was our second stay at this resort and, for the second time, both the indoor pool and indoor hot tubs were out of commission for all or part of our stay. Overall, the maintenance and upkeep of the property is lacking. Very disappointing. As for the condo itself, we definitely felt that some upkeep is needed to the unit and furniture. We experienced broken bed frames, a leaking icemaker in the freezer, and were unable to have heat or air until the last day of our stay (thankfully this was not a huge issue due to the weather).

Tidewater

This condo is in one of the larger complexes at PCB. The condo had everything we needed and plenty of space. It was in a great location to Pier Park and other local spots. This complex has 2 large outside pools that were great and an inside pool. The biggest downside was the elevators. It was a constant game of trying to find an elevator that wasn’t packed. On our first day it was a mad house trying to get carts and luggage up to the room. After the first day it did seem to get a little better as the week went on.

Over all stay at TW

Would not stay at TW again - elevators were way to slow for the amount of people. 20 min + wait is to long. The condo itself was spacious but could use some updating. The ice maker did not work, the toilet in master was loose so my husband fixed it. Only 1 hand towel given for each bathroom was a bit disappointing. The food at the restaurant was good tho! The washing machine was super loud!

Despite the management company not having any control over the report amenities such as the elevators and wash areas outside near the beach, my family and I were not happy with this condo or our stay. I would not recommend coming to this property as almost all guests wait an abundance amount of time for an elevator (sometimes 45 mins) and the staff could care less about your needs. The wash areas off the beach are not working correctly with hose and valves being broken. With the amount of money you spend at this place you would think the guests would be more of a priority. My family of 6 also needed extra towels and dishwasher pods and it took over 24hrs to get those towels. The management company only provides you two trash bags, 1 dishwasher pod, limited towels
