This was a great vacation unit. Perfect location for the areas we fish and close to Clayton and A Bay when we want to go to town. Unit was very nice. Screened back porch was awesome to hang out at nite. Dock for 2 boats was perfect as we brought ours. Nice friendly area

Tranquil Cottage

Spacious cottage right on the water. Dock space was convenient for quick trips on the lake with the family. Beautiful waking up to the all glass/screened in area to enjoy your coffee in the morning. All the modern conveniences in the kitchen which made meal prep easy with the option of grilling on the large grill! mattresses were very comfortable. Our family had a wonderful week of boating! We will sure be back!

Nice peaceful home on the water.

The house is very nice with beautiful floors and woodwork. The big screened in porch facing the lake (part of the St. Lawrence waterway) was great for relaxing, eating meals and playing cards and board games. The house was very clean and well equipped with cooking tools and towels. With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, there’s plenty of room for several adults. We thoroughly enjoyed our week visit and it was a very comfortable place to stay.

Great Place

Great place to stay very nice, everything as described. Two suggestions though, Handy Cap bars in the showers to protect against slip and fall issues, and hand held removable shower heads to allow use of seats that are in the showers.

This is a wonderful home and the location could not be any better. Art was very responsive and helpful. The screened in porch was a treat and loved by all.

Beautiful Property

We can’t say enough great things about our stay. The screened in front porch that opens up into the living room and kitchen with full length sliding doors makes for great play space for kids and converts to a relaxing and peaceful evening for the adults. I’ve stayed in the 1,000 Islands before and bugs have always been an issue but not this time. That alone makes this the best place we’ve stayed at! Highly recommend

Exceeded expectations

First of all, the house is gorgeous. Everything is new and has all the amenities needed for any size family. The beds were all comfortable, the patio is amazing and was the focal point of our gatherings. It was great having the boat dock right there for the pontoon boat we rented. The family next door is related to the property owners and were very gracious to offer restaurant suggestions and local knowledge. Loved our time here and would highly recommend this place for your next vacation.

A Slice of Paradise

This was a brand new beautiful property with a phenomenal view and direct access to the river - just walk out onto the dock and dangle your feet in the water in the quiet solitude. Neighbors are close by, but quiet, friendly and good restaurant recommendations! Clayton, state parks and Alexandria Bay easily accessible by car. The 3 bedrooms (Master was a giant loft area with incredible view and very comfy king bed) and the matching 3 bathrooms were gorgeous. The kitchen had everything and was large. Just one note, you are on an island and the water is fine for a shower, but you will want to bring drinking water - the grocery is close by so no issue. The owner, Art, was very nice and was available by phone for any needs. We stayed with our 2 adult daughters but it would have worked for 3 couples as well. We would gladly rent this location again and recommend it to our friends!

Perfect vacation

Beautiful property! Cottage was like new. All the necessities you need to cook full meals and bbq. The owner was available for questions. The dock was perfect for our boat. Beds were comfortable. Highly recommend it.

Great little gateway

Newly renovated house on a cove that offered a perfect relaxing time. The fenced in porch is a huge benefit, isolating from the elements. Water temperature hovered over 80 degrees which was fantastic, and plenty of fishing just off the pier.

The accommodations were fantastic! Everything is extremely clean and in great condition. The patio is absolutely amazing!!! Beds are super comfortable! Location is perfect! Neighbors are friendly! We would come back for sure! Such a fun and relaxing vacation!

Ideal location in 1000 Islands

Lake of The Isles is peaceful with lots of fun on the water opportunities, from kayaks to waterskiing to fishing to pontoon partying. Easy dock access and quick trips made to Alexandria Bay, Clayton, Boldt Castle, Singer Castle and more. The house is like new and has all the modern amenities, as advertised! Very nice! The screen porch was awesome, let us sit outside without being eaten alive by bugs. Neighbors were friendly and helpful. Owner/manager was extremely easy to work with as well. We’d highly recommend to others and come again ourselves. Central air conditioning is a must for us; never know when it’ll be hot, hot, hot in 1000 Islands.

Life on the water

We have been coming to the thousands islands for about 15 years and stayed in a few different locations. This is our absolute favorite spot. The cottage is absolute beautiful and we spent most of our time out on the large screened in porch just relaxing and watching the boats go by. The neighbors were so nice and helpful. We will defiantly be coming back!

Outstanding - It doesn't get any better than this!

Everything about this property is perfect. It's not only new, but built of top quality materials, and of good taste. The view from the windows and the front screened room is great. There is nothing like waking up from a comfortable king mattress in the loft master suite, to look out the large peak window over the Lake of the Isles! A great way to start the day. It's a short, level walk out to the dock. The dock was a nice sized floating one, with a u-shaped "stall" for our pontoon boat. There was a good 5-8' of water under the boat at all points to the end of the dock. The location of the property was nice, and it only took us about 20 minutes to get to downtown Alex Bay by car. The home was in a small cove with a small group of other homes. The neighbors were all very nice, and offered to answer any questions we might have about the area. We vacation in the Alex Bay area every summer (and have for many years), and always rent a waterfront home. This one was the best we have stayed in yet. We highly recommend it, and we will be back!
