We are had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend pixie island the privacy once your on the property was perfection. The description and pictures were spot on and we lacked for nothing. The grandkids spent every day in the water, perfect location.

Wonderful time on Pixie Island

The Island is a wonderful slice of heaven on the lake. The location is great. It has a great private feeling, but you are right in the action of the lakes region. The house and accommodations were just as described. The views and peacefulness are top notch.

It really is a private island

This property is unique and thoroughly enjoyable. Our mouths dropped when we first walked across the footbridge to the island and then opened the door to one of the best and most private views of Lake Winnipesaukee.

Wonderful stay

This was our second stay on pixie island. It was as fabulous as our first! It’s wonderful to have an entire small island to yourself and family. Grandchildren were older and enjoyed the walk-in beach area even more than last time. The dock was a perfect accommodation for our boat and the extra cabin was perfect for our single daughter. The hosts are extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend!

Our family of 6 (grandparents, parents and 2 kids) had the best time! The property is stunning and has beautiful greenery and trees providing privacy and shade. The sandy beach, boat slips and walking trails around the home made our stay an A+. Bunk house with AC/Heat and TV was a big hit! Main house is comfy with 3 bedrooms, dishwasher and laundry. Windows and sliding doors are everywhere which make you feel like you are outside all the time and give you a beautiful view of the lake from every corner of the home! Would definitely book this home again :)

Perfect location!

We absolutely loved our stay at Pixie Island! We had never rented on the Lake before, so we were a bit in the dark on how to go about choosing a location. Turns out we chose the perfect spot! The house sits on its own little private island, with an incredible view of the lake. So peaceful! To access the house there is a walking bridge from the mainland to the island. It’s a short walk, so not an issue. There are three parking spots on the mainland to use, and a good size wagon to help move your luggage to the house. The house is just as the pictures show on-line. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The AC works great! There is a small, separate building that houses the fourth bedroom. The building looks like a small cabin and is located just next door to the main house. We weren't sure how that would work out, but it was just fine. Just like the main house, the room is decorated nicely, clean and comfortable. And yes, it too is air conditioned. The living room was a bit smaller than what we are used to for our group (4 adults and 4 kids, ages between 17-23), but we managed. We spent most of our time outdoors, but when it rained, we had had enough room to hang out in the family room and play games. The owners were very responsive. While there, I texted them twice with questions. They responded within minutes.

Hidden Gem

This property is a hidden gem on Lake Winnipesaukee. Unique and special in every sense, this was our second year staying on Pixie Island. Not only did the property not disappoint, it seemed even better than last year. Private and relaxing, it is still close to many amenities, and the location affords easy travel to Meredith and other Winnipesaukee destinations. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the house had everything we needed.

Absolutely Perfect Family Vacation!

Open the gate, cross the footbridge and leave the real world behind as you enter Pixie Island! Very clean, beautiful views, spacious and something for everyone. Small beach perfect for little ones, fishing off the dock, swimming, boating, fire pit s’mores by the water and so many places to relax and unwind lakeside. Close to shopping, Weirs Beach and local attractions. Many memories made during our stay!

Amazing property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Pixie Island! The property offers amazing views and privacy. It perfectly accommodated 7 adults (our single daughter loved staying in the bunk house!) The grandchildren loved the beach area where they could walk into the water and the dock space was great for our boat. We sat around the fire each night enjoying the family and the serenity of the lake. The house had everything we needed and the owners are wonderfully accommodating! We hope to return soon!

Great gathering spot for a family vacation at Winnipesaukee. Quieter than expected mainly due to it being an island and little bit isolated from the neighbors. Clean and well appointed.

Special private island!!

We had a wonderful family vacation to our favorite lake. Communication was very easy prior and during our stay. The house is LOVELY. quality finishes and attention to detail. Beds were very comfortable. Guest house was a nice option to have as well. The docks beach hammock and patio were wonderful. WiFi and systems were top notch and easy. My son loves swimming and climbing on the rocks. A beautiful lake view and very enjoyable vacation. Have recommended the property to friends and am hoping to return next summer.

50th wedding anniversary family celebration

A relaxing and enjoyable time at a perfect secluded location. All lake activities were enjoyed by all and the beautiful sunsets complimented the evening campfires. It was the perfect family retreat. The home had everything for a perfect stay. Everyone wants to come back again
