Casa de 4 habitaciones para 12 personas: reina en la habitación principal, completa y doble en la segunda habitación, litera con cama matrimonial en la parte inferior doble. . En el primer piso está el cuarto dormitorio con cama de matrimonio y cama nido doble. Sunroom tiene zona de bar y un gran sofá seccional con capacidad para 7 personas. Las vistas desde la habitación son increíbles. La sala de estar intermedia tiene un asiento de dos plazas, dos sillones reclinables y una chimenea de leña. Es una zona ideal para leer, relajarse o ponerse al día con amigos. En el segundo piso hay una gran sala de juegos con air hockey, futbolín, sistema de juegos Wii y TV grande. Hay Wi-Fi, televisión por cable, juegos de mesa, DVD y una extensa colección de libros para disfrutar durante su estancia. La cocina es grande y viene con todos los electrodomésticos, incluyendo lavavajillas. Gran mesa de comedor con capacidad para 6 con asientos adicionales en el área barra de la cocina. Incredible location

Views are unbelievable and location is close to everything. We enjoyed morning walks on scenic drive, taking a short hikes up Lockes Hill and rented a boat from Fay’s boatyard. Loved every minute of this vacation!

Timothy was great to work with -I have never used VRBo before this stay and it was so easy. The pictures do not do this spot or the accommodations justice. We had 5 boys 18 and 5 moms and still had plenty of space! The views were amazing -literally 4 min walk to the beach. All the amenities in the kitchen included all the pots/pans baking sheets utensils even baking soda and baking powder- came in handy making breakfast for the boys! The neighbor we met was super nice! You will not be disappointed with this rental!

Awesome Place to Vacation!

The house and location are amazing. I don't think there is a more beautiful location on the lake!. We had 9 people staying at the house and we never felt cramped. There is plenty of space to spread out. We loved the game room and really enjoyed that there was a record player with old albums to listen to. Very cool....... The outdoor space is wonderful and the views are amazing. We'll absolutely be back next year. Tim, the owner, was great to work with. Stay here - you will be glad you did!

Lake house stay

Beautiful location and lake house. the house was large enough to accommodate 3 teenagers, 4 adults and a baby. plenty of beds and room with the game room and front room with the best views of the lake. great kitchen which was well stocked with kitchen staples and dishes/ good working pots/pans and oven. 2.5 bathrooms and laundry room. we loved that we could walk to the beach from the dock, inside the lake was shallow enough and sandy to walk there. we loved that every day we saw a ton of people walking the street, not many cars, safe to walk. beautiful location and views, we were all very impressed!!! perfect location to travel to all the different towns by boat. had a wonderful week, sad it was over too soon!

The Views

The property was as advertised. The views were stunning! House was big enough for our families of 8 with plenty of room. Every bedroom except the bunk bed room had air conditioning which was great but the kids were very uncomfortable without air conditioning. The dock looks new and the kayaks and paddle board were used almost every day. We rented a boat at Fay’s Boat Yard and I highly recommend them if you’re looking to rent. It’s very close to the house.The house is older and desperately needs updating(especially the kitchen). It was also not very clean when we arrived. My daughter (she likes things clean) cleaned the kitchen & dishes and silverware and counters as soon as we were settled. Some of the windowsills looked like they had never been cleaned. I know that spiders can be very prevalent but we had to remove a nest of spiders in the upstairs bathroom. I think part of the problem is that the renters are expected to clean the whole house before you leave which we didn’t know until we read the rules on the refrigerator when we arrived. You are also expected to wash, dry and fold the sheets before you leave (we did know this before so we brought our own sheets so we wouldn’t have to stay all day for them to wash & dry).The house is actually a great place to stay and we did have a great time! It just needs a little updating and not depending on renters to clean. Not everyone’s idea of clean is the same.

Look at another property

House was gross upon arrival. Kitchen counters greasy, old food on counters. Smelled like a grease pit in the house. Bed sheets rolled up in balls on beds. Trash overflowing, I had to go out and pick up trash because flies were everywhere. Refrigerator leaked all week, we had to put towels around base. All of the above was reported to owner with no response. Dock is unsafe, I had to take a rock to pound in nails that were sticking out everywhere. Landing beside the lake in front of the house had old chairs thrown on the hill. It didn’t look like anyone had picked up the area all summer. Satellite tv only works in one room with limited channels. Owner said we could use elicoya state beach beside property, this was not true and we ended up paying to use beach. I had asked the owner on 3 occasions about this.......House is very run down with spiders everywhere, traffic is fairly consistent on weekends and lighter on weekdays. The one benefit of this house is the amazing view. We have rented over 30 houses over the years and this one was the most disappointing of all of them. With some effort this place could be a very nice place to stay but it’s not even close at the moment. There is more things I could list but I won’t take the time.

I called you several times to try and work out the problems but you decided to only communicate by texting. I could have had someone clean the kitchen but you took it upon yourself which I appreciate. Trash is picked up on Monday which I texted you about. Beach access was allowed to other renters over the summer so I don't understand why you had a problem. The leaking refrigerator was not reported until the last day of your stay and your other complaints were never mentioned until this review. I am available by phone 24 hours a day and have been renting properties for many years. If you had communicated with me better all these problems could have been alleviated. As far as the road in front of the house, this fact was known before renting. Houses without a road are far more per night. As far as the house being run down this couldn't be any further from the truth and am insulted that you would say something like that.

We had a fantastic time at this property. The view over the lake was amazing. The fire pit area worked well for a fire and relaxing at night. Tim was easy to communicate with and the instructions for the house were easy. We really enjoyed our time here!

A great stay on the lake

Overall we were quite happy with this rental. Our party included 2 families, with 8 total people. The first comment that I will make is that the house was actually a bit nicer than it initially appears from the photos. The bathrooms are in very good shape, the kitchen appliances are new, and it was clear that the owner has put a bit of money into the house over the last few years. If you are concerned about the road being between the house and the lake, don't be. There is little to no traffic on the street. We were totally comfortable crossing the road to the stairs down to the water. As for the dock, it suited it's purpose. Not great itself for hanging out on, but does it's job as a place to dock a boat. The lake bottom near the dock is generally sandy and a good place to swim. The nearby beach is also a great spot for swimming with kids. That stretch of the lake can get a bit windy, but we only had one night of higher (15 mph) winds. On a hot day, some of the upstairs bedrooms can get a bit hot and stuffy. There are some window AC units, but not in all rooms. Bring a fan or two if you plan to use all of the bedrooms. Check in and check out worked fine. One thing that surprised me was the owner forwarding an additional contract he wanted me to sign. It wasn't really a big deal as most of the aspects of that contract were in line with the listing and the VRBO policies, but it was unexpected. Overall, a good house, in a good location for the price.

Wonderful Location and Views

Excellent location and spectacular views. Swim, paddle board and kayak off of the property’s private (shared) dock. Camp fires in the fire pit at night. Get up and do it again the next day !!

Big house, great location!

House fit large group of twenty somethings (friends of kids) as well as our immediate family. House felt comfortable, didn't need AC but was glad it was there towards the very end. Didnt even use bonus room - we fit in all of the many comfy beds!

Can be old but does not need to be filthy

The property was filthy. From the dead bugs in the window sills to the blood on the door frame, blood spots in the mattress pad, to the ants all of the kitchen, spider bites while sleeping, the shower had spiders in the cracked dropped ceiling with bug marks on the shower, and fix the refrigerator or buy a new one. Condensation all over the kitchen floor!!!! That created a slipping hazard!!! Whatever that sitting area down by the water is is another hazard!!!! What was totally disgusting was how filthy the kitchen cabinets were. Again it can be old but clean the place up!!!! Mattress were pitfall and the sheets are so thin. Tip for you. If you want to rent can commend decent money fix the place up. Provide decent mattresses and pillows and buy white sheets so they can be bleached!!!! This experience has taught me that VRBO has no cleanliness standards or inspections and will rent anything. Oh and the hot water in the bathroom toilet in the second floor???? Seriously, this home was beyond filthy. The construction going on next door was a noise nuisance too. That should have been disclosed.

Lake vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this house. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The kids enjoyed playing darts and foosball in the game room. The views were absolutely spectacular. We spent every day in the lake or fishing off the dock. It was so convenient to just be able to walk right down to the water. It was a perfect week. Tim was very easy to work with.

Place is Nice; Owner is Deceptive

The house was fine. If you want me to say it was "as described", then yes it was as described. It was not clear until arriving just how close it is to the neighbor, nor was it clear that a road (albeit with little car traffic) separates the lake from the house. The shared dock sounds fine until the neighbors (with a group of 12) were having an early-morning drinking party on the dock. My teenage kids were not comfortable going down to the lake to swim. Somebody failed to tell them that the space was "shared". Our owner had nice TVs and other electronics in the home, but absolutely no instructions on how to use them. Not everyone is familiar with accessing shows on DISH, or which of 3 remote controls was to be used. Same goes for the Wii. One of the windowless bathrooms did not have a functioning light. If tenants need to bring things like soap and shampoo, this should be clearly stated. Upon arriving, all sheets (about ten sets) were in the dryer, not on the beds. Compounding that, they were all wet still because somebody totally overloaded the dryer. With 3 different size beds, it would be nice to have the right sheets on the right bed when arriving. The owner emailed a contract a couple weeks before our arrival outlining things. One item clearly stated that stays less than 1 week were to not strip beds and wash them, but to just leave them on the beds. Please note that this owner kept 35% of our hefty security deposit because he claims we failed to clean the home appropriately, stating sheets were not washed (which we did not do because of his contract) and other places were not cleaned. We were scammed out of a significant amount of money. The house was in the same condition when we left as when we arrived - trash out, fridge empty, kitchen cleaned. If an owner expects certain things to be completed then it better be stated somewhere what these items are. I do not recommend this home simply because the owner is being unreasonable. Thank you. Then lake is lovely and there are many places you can stay to more fully appreciate that.

If there was concerns about proximity to the street and neighbors a simple email request before booking would have cleared all this up. My property rents for considerable less per night of comparable properties that are on the water because it is across the street and the dock is shared with the neighbor. As far as tv remotes there is a sheet of paper with the dish channel guide that describes what needs to be done. I am available by cell phone 24 hours a day if there are issues or concerns with the property. You never contacted me during your stay. The neighbors use of the entire dock could have been alleviated with one simple phone call. The light did not work in the bathroom because of a tripped ground fault outlet, again a phone call would have cured this problem. The wet sheets were inexcusable and the cleaners apologize as they were running behind that day. A majority of the cleaning deposit was returned to you due to a misunderstanding. I strive to provide the best rental experience for my guests, but if there is no communication between parties and problems arise your experience will not be the best it can be.

Beautiful house very convenient location on lake

Me and my brothers family stayed here for a week in August. There was plenty of room for the 10 of us and the kids really enjoyed the huge game room with WII, fusball, and air hockey. The view from every room is unbelievable and is ever changing depending on the time of day. We really enjoyed the fire pit for smores and the swimming from the dock or nearby Ellacoya State Beach was excellent. The house is convenient to many restaurants and stores but we did cook in a couple of nights and found the kitchen very well equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely rent the "Views" again

A perfect lakeside view

You wake up in the morning to views of the lake through the panoramic windows. No one else is in sight. You take the kayak out for morning paddle, or maybe wade over to the nearby beach. You pick up a book and read by the windows or relax with a drink by the water. You stay up way too late playing air hokey. Then you do it again. It was wonderful.

Have always loved the lakes region of New Hampshire and Maine so finally bought a place in NH. My family loves this house and we decided to share it with others when we can't use it.

Walk to Ellacoya State Park and use the beach. We have a path going over to the beach.
