This was the perfect place to stay in Florence. A block or so from Ponte Veccio in a wonderful little neighborhood. The locals were really friendly and there was great food, drinks and gelato just outside of our on the property was everything we hoped for. It was large, beautiful and convenient to everything! They even helped us arrange for airport transportation. We can't wait to go back.

Wonderful property with an outstanding location. Couldn't ask for a better spot to stay in , located near so much. House was spacious and very comfortable. Will recommend to friends and to come back in the future.

Fantastic location (very near to the Ponte Vecchio and the Pitti Palace). Host was responsive and welcoming. Only issue was the kitchen sink was clogged and we were unable to use it Friday through Monday afternoon. Our host attempted to get a plumber but it was the weekend. Other than that, its a fantastic place!

This home was beautiful, set in a historical area of Florence and within walking distance to everything. I just left , am back in Canada and am already making arrangements to return in the summer of 2028. Lynn

This is the second time that I have stayed here. The contact person, Gentiana, is very helpful. The location is excellent - you feel like you are living like a Florentine with nearby restaurants, shops, grocery store, laundromat, and great gelato right next door. The property has many original features, but could use a refresh just to update comfort. I noted the need for more comfortable mattresses and Gentiana immediately responded saying that she would ask the host to get new mattresses. The stone floors could use a deep clean too. Great kitchen with ample dish and cookware and even a dishwasher. Private outdoor courtyard was great.

This is such a beautiful spot, close to all the attractions but far enough away to get away from the crowds. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms clean. The living space is great and the kitchen has all that we needed!Be sure to have the coffee, Gelato, and crostinis nearby!

Pros: the location is excellent - can not be beat! The host communicates quickly and answered any questions we had. Cons: a little bit of a musty smell, to get to the second bedroom you have to either cross the courtyard or go through the main bedroom. 2nd & 3rd bedrooms need better mattresses & linens. When we arrived the host did inform us that on the second day of our stay a crew would be coming to chisel up the courtyard to drain the holding tank well at 6am. The tank had reached capacity before our arrival. Obviously, not ideal on a vacation. Overall, I loved the location and the patio. The host was great. However, the musty smell, the mattresses and the 6am construction wasn’t great.

Amazing place to stay right near the Ponte Vecchia. The house manager Gentianna is also a licensed guide. I highly recommend her for tours of the Duomo, Accademia and the Ufizzi. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about the art.

The host was amazing and easy to work with. He had an Assistant to let us in though that never responded to my questions beforehand. Check in was confusing as there are 2 street numbers with the same number near each other so we waited for 45 minutes outside the wrong door and we panicked since no one answered our calls. Apparently our cab driver dropped us off at the wrong door and this happens all the time. The place has ample room (we had 3 couples). Has a musty odor which you got used to. Lots of loud activity outside the living room all night long. Garden smelled like cigarette smoke, not welcoming to sit in to enjoy. Cool history of the place. We did have WiFi - kitchen, washer and plenty of places to hang wet laundry. It was an ok place for 2 nights.

Stunning ancient property. Coffee shop, bar, Gelato and restaurants within feet. Grocery store and Ponte Vecchio 3 mins walk. Pitti Palace 5 minutes. Santo Spirito Basilica and market square 5 minutes. Host responsive Local hostess and drivers incredible!!! Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Great communication with checking in. Excellent location, but a lot of noise right outside the door (bar next door/ in the street). Amazing apartment but could use a little TLC ( light bulbs, window screens torn so had to leave windows closed due to mosquitoes!). Washing machine worked well and plenty of outdoor patio space to dry your clothes. Close to river, restaurants, shopping, and walkable to all the favorite sites.

The Garden house was in a perfect location, easy to walk everywhere and great restaurants and cafes on the same street. The house had plenty of room for my family of 6 and the host was very helpful with recommendations and arranging transportation to and from the airport. We had an amazing time!

Location: close to many great spots. Right next to Palazzo Pitti. Ground level, so no stairs to get in. Directly next to a busy area, so some noise from the street and from people walking along the terrace directly above.Communication: some issues in communication that were solved at the last minute.Accomodations: incredibly spacious. Loads of ammenities (extra towels, coffee, sugar, cooking utensils, etc). Could have been a bit cleaner.
