There were 6 adults in our group and we all got very comfortably for 2 nights. House is walking distance to the beach if you don’t have a lot of stuff to carry. It’s also close to a few restaurants and shops.The pool could use aesthetic updates but it was clean and temperature was refreshing. The hot tub doesn’t heat up, that would’ve been nice. Outside grill/kitchen area was very clean and handy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this property.

Nice open floor plan, updated kitchen and baths. The bedroom configuration was as described. Pool and outdoor area was very nice. Short walk to a very nice beach. 3rd bath is the pool bath but it was not inconvenient and was nice. Only complaint is grill did not work and kitchen furnishings were slightly underwhelming.

Beach life

This properly appears to be recently renovated. It was clean however it needed a few more repairs. The ceiling fan in the main bedroom need to be replaced. Bed needed repaired. The pool cage screen needed repaired. Bugs were coming in and biting us. Pool deck needs pressure washing. Small repairs would have made our stay perfect.

Issues with basic accommodations

*bed frame in master en-suite is broken. Wood is actually cracked but very few screws are holding this frame together so all the slats supporting the mattress move. Was not able to get a decent nights rest. Sheets were poor quality and did not fit well. No mattress protector at all. We had to try and repair the frame enough to just try and sleep on it.*bbq grill was unsanitary and a fire hazard with the massive amount of grease residue *fans on beautifully pictured patio either don’t work or only sometimes work*pool/patio area was a mess. A previous review on 6/12/25 mentioned plastic finger nails around the porch, dirtiness, broken concrete on waterfall-all issues still remained unrepaired by our visit on 6/29/25*hot tub/spa runs but doesn’t warm??*AC does not adequately cool the front king bed room*had to tighten legs on living room chairs as they were all loose and could not be used as such*lots of warning about disarming the sliding door alarms, however the didn’t work our entire trip*could only use one set of sliding doors as other sets to patio would not open*diswasher isn’t mounted well and when you open the door it come out of the cabinet*kitchen sink does not drainHouse has potential and looks great in pictures but actual condition is much different. It is truly a great location but needs basic attention to be comfortable and safe.

Great location - property needs many things addressed

I have sent photos and a lot to customer service, I have not heard back from them except for we will look into it. We paid over $2,000 for 5 nights and have not been offered any compensation. The over all property was unkept, weeds all outside of the lania, a ripped screen on the Lanai, trash (Dorito bag, straw wrappers, caps from water bottles, etc, etc) throughout the property. The dishwasher was not connected to the cabinets/counter so when you opened it, the door leaned out when trying to load dishes. The stove was not leveled, it was plugged in and that was it. There was a vanity sink on the pool deck inside the Lanai that was removed from somewhere. There was weeds/grass growing in the cracks of the pool deck. The accordion blinds in the master bedroom - that was in the flood from the hurricane - ARE STILL HANGING! You can see the water line on the blinds. The glass doors in the hall bathroom are hung wrong and water goes out onto the floor when you shower and someone is going to close those doors and glass is going to shatter. The pool deck was littered from a previous guest that apparently had water balloon fights and balloon pieces were melted onto the pool deck, there were fake finger nails on the pool deck. The front bedroom - you are unable to change the speed of the fan as the pull rope is non existent. Other than having Roku - no local TV can be found or watched. The wifi - was AWFUL. None of our family even hooked up to the wifi and still couldn't watch anything even if we signed into our streaming services. The items in the kitchen, very sparse at best. Again, great location.....

False advertisement!!! Dirty pool and pool deck This home only sleeps 6 but advertised sleeping 8...

The pool and pool deck were filthy and it took 2 days for them to send someone to clean the pool did not clean pool deck there were fake finger nails and melted water balloons on the deck. 3 of the 6 exterior doors did not lock one door wouldn’t even close. Garage door didn’t work. We had to put the couch and a chair in front of them since they all lead to the pool and canal! There was a bathroom sick with counter attached propped up in pool area up against the door leading into the house. Water fall going into the pool was broken concrete but still there hanging into the pool causing a dangerous situation for anyone near it. We requested to have some one come out to fix the issues and were told they could not get a hold of local management. Dirty cooking utensils put back into the cabinets. The home only sleeps 6 but advertised as sleeping 8 when we called about it they told me to put 3 guest in both king beds and then it would sleep 8. Yard was over grown with weeds there was debris (shingles, glass and trash) in the yard so we could not use that either. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Great location, great space

We stayed over Easter. The house itself was great, it appeared to be recently updated.The one thing the house lacks is curb appeal. There was no landscaping , just overgrown weeds, even around the pool. I found myself pulling weeds because there were so many. Kitchen has everything you need. Local property management was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Overall a good stay, would definitely come back.

Great Location - Plenty of Room

The home interior is very nice - plenty of room, clean, comfortable beds, TV's in all of the rooms. The location has beach access about 2 blocks away. Also, about 2 blocks is Jenny and Jane E's restaurant and shop - very popular spot and great food and atmosphere. We got the impression we were the 1st tenants after a change in ownership or remodel as (1) the keypad instructions were incorrect and we finally were able to enter the home with keys from the lockbox (2) the garage door has to be manually opened and we had rented a golf cart which would not clear the garage door unless someone tall enough could fully raise it (3) there were no trashcans or toilet paper holders in 2 of the 3 bathrooms (4) there were no hooks in 2 of the bathrooms and anywhere on the patio to hang wet towels, bathing suits, (5) it took a couple of days for the pool man to come and add chlorine to the pull which was turning green (6) the place needs the weeds to be pulled (7) the pick up days for the garbage were incorrect in the book (8) the blender was poor quality - unable to make our "beachy drinks" virgin pina coladas and daiquiri's - I think this was a great place considering - just needs a few things fixed and added to make it more accommodating.

Wouldn’t stay again

Roach crawled across the couch while someone was sleeping, pool was too hot to swim in due to the heater being on, broken furniture, broken back screen door, pool sensor wires cut and disconnected, fridge did not cool our food/drinks, ice maker didn’t work, pictures on listing were not accurate at all

Family friendly - great for boaters too!

We really enjoyed our stay here - it was perfect for our needs with adults and elementary age kids. Very spacious. We loved the pool area and the fact that we could bring our 21 ft boat. I will book here again!

Overall this worked great for us. About 2 blocks from the gulf coast. Fishing access on an inlet behind the house and pool was great for us and kids. Out of the way for major island traffic but close enough to the coast to walk and enjoy it

Fun family weekend

Fantastic location

We loved the location of this property! The pool was great! Overall we had a great vacation. The property itself needs updating but we knew that from the other reviews. I would highly suggest getting a golf cart or at least a bike.

Far From Finest

While we loved the pool and hot tub, this property could use some serious attention from its owners and managers. A few hours of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general cleanliness would go a long way. Not our first visit to AMI but this property’s condition isn’t for us.

This is an outstanding property! It lacks some quality kitchen “tools” “utensils” whatever you would call it. Was very difficult to cook! Needs better pots, pans, KNIVES for sure. Other than that, loved it!

Anna Maria’s Finest may only be pretty good!

Let’s start with the good. The home itself has a beautiful layout with a fabulous expansive pool/hot tub area with lots of deck seating and pool toys. There is a gas grill for cooking and a large table and chairs for 6 person dining. There is also a full bath with a roomy shower, a second refrigerator and kitchen sink in the outdoor kitchen area next to the pool. The main kitchen is large and includes plenty of items to cook your favorite meals with a refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven and large kitchen sink. Adjacent to the kitchen there is a large dining room for inside meals. There are two large living areas that can accommodate a large group for watching TV, listening to music or just relaxing. The three bedrooms are plenty large and the beds are comfortable. The two inside full bathrooms are small but very functional. There are many TVs throughout the home and multiple streaming services are available. There are two garages, one full of all kinds of beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys. The other has a nice washer dryer and still plenty of room to park your car inside. Overall the layout of this house is awesome. Anna Maria Island is very walkable and this home does not disappoint for location. It is in a quiet residential area within 2 blocks of the beautiful sand beaches and 2 blocks of the concentration of fun shops and restaurants. The nearest grocery store (Publix) is just a short 4-5 minute drive away. Cool resta

Great location

The location of this home is wonderful. The home itself needs some work. The lanai area is fabulous! The pool and jacuzzi were wonderful. Unfortunately, the home itself was not as great. The beds are very hard, the kitchen is not well appointed and the supplies that are there are subpar. The dining room table only accommodates 4 even though there are three bedrooms. There are plenty of beach chairs to use which was very nice.

Very poor Vacasa service

We stayed at a property in Florida and it was noticeably unclean when we arrived as well as no AC. We were busy with a family wedding the first 24 hours of our stay and noticed it was very hot in house but gave the AC about 24 hours hoping it was slowly coming to temp. Finally had time to call the host (in this case Vacasa), but had to call 4 different times and ended up waiting over 24 hours to get someone to come out and get the AC going(it was hot out!) They did refund the cleaning fee as well as a few hundred dollars to compensate for the air-conditioning but that was after insistence on my part, not good customer service on their end. I still don’t feel adequately compensated- had no AC over half our stay, and cleanliness issues- but have given up with any more results through Vacasa property management. Also, I would add the property is generally in disrepair (that is not shown in photos) and needs a good amount of maintenance. I would love some compensation from VRBO and feel like I need to leave this very detailed review to warn other potential guests to this property. Let me know if there is anything you can offer beyond what Vacasa did( we got roughly $400 back for our stay)

Good time but Small bathrooms

We had a great time with family and enjoyed the house and pool! Please be aware the inside bathrooms are very small, the outside shower is bigger but kinda inconvenient, my hubby is 6'5" and had to use it. Other than the age of the property, its nice and the pool area is great!
