Hey Beth, thank you for your review. I'm happy that you liked the location and the view. However, I'm sorry that you didn't have a 5-star experience. Regarding your concerns mentioned in this review, I am honestly surprised as I had not realized that these situations occurred. I'm sorry to hear that your children got sick during the one-week stay. As you did not relay that to me, I didn't have the opportunity to remedy the situation and better your stay. And for that, I apologize, as my goal as a host is to be attentive and responsive to my guests' needs. According to our policy, we don't allow pets and animals to stay in the cottage, so it's unlikely there's some cat urine. However, going forward, we'll examine the cottage condition thoroughly to ensure the place is clean, smell-free, and well-maintained. And I would recommend that you reach out to me during your stay if you have any concerns, as this will give me an opportunity to improve your stay and make sure you get your money's worth. Last but not least, thank you for choosing us. I hope you didn't lose confidence in us and choose to stay with us again!
