Grandkids loved it!

Our unit needed a little tlc but overall a nice place to stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Elevators are a disaster, room semi-clean, mattresses are terrible

Several elevators were down. Took 2 hours to unload and get to the room. Spent 1.5 per day (easily) waiting on elevators. Mold in bathrooms, showers still dirty when we arrived, mattresses were terrible. Great view from balcony is about the only positive thing I can say

Good time

We did have a problem with a tv not working that was never fixed and we did have a small delay in the ac working which for the last few days it was not working properly but all and all it was a great vacation and we was happy with the condo so thank you and I hope you continue to rent your condo out to more families

Great Location

The location is great. There are actually 3 full bathrooms in the unit which was a nice surprise since we had 4 girls. We visited at the end of summer so the beach wasn't busy and neither were the elevators. The furniture could use updating but it was comfortable and did the trick. Like the other reviews said, the floor was gritty. However, you're ON THE BEACH. It wasn't any more or less sandy than any other condo I've stayed in on the beach so don't let those reviews deter you.

Never again

First off it was very nice until it wasn’t! we went to dinner came back and there were quite a few people sitting in the lobby we looked around and finally someone said the elevators are out/no power on one side and some people don’t have any water We set there probably about two hours and then decided to go up the stairs 20 flights!! Not knowing if and when we get to our room if we will have power or water we finally made it to the top! got in we did have power just no water the elevators seem to never work properly in the hotel or the parking garage and to add there was no one at the dest over night so you better get there before 9:00 to check in the front dest people were nice they were told to open the pool for us but they refused it was hot and so stuffy they never did call maintenance because they did not work on the weekend so we had to wait till Monday for all the issues to get resolved this issue seems to happen quite often. My friend was just there a little over a year ago and this happened to her as well.

The elevators take 1 1/2 hours to go up

The unit was not very clean. No pots with lids. The elevator takes for ever. Overall the resort was in a good location and family oriented.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The furniture was old and outdated. It had a lot of wear on the furniture. The refrigerator had rust all down the side. The curtains in the living room was stained and dirty looking. My vacation was great. I liked how the condo was right on the beach.

Elevators not safe

The room was nice. However the elevators were terrible. We were on elevator #5 one evening and the elevator slipped/dropped while we were riding three times then all of the lights went out on the elevator's panel. The first time it happened was scary enough, but it was over and we continued our ascent. Then it happened again and we were ready to get out. After it happened the third time the elevator stopped moving and that's when the lights on the panel went out. At this point, we were terrified and began pushing the open door and the help buttons. Once the door opened we got off the elevator on the 10th floor to continue on a different one. The inspection sticker says it's good until 8/1/25. However, this elevator is constantly loaded with people with long our max wait time up to 30 mins. So I feel it needts to be inspected more often.This incident happened after hours, so the only staff we could find to report the issues was a security guard who decided the best solution was for him to ride said elevator. We check to see if they had shut the elevator down 30-40 minutes after reporting the incident. But it was still open for others to ride. We reported the incident the following morning and were told, "Yes, we heard about that. We were having problems yesterday with the elevators". I told her that our issue happened last night not yesterday. But yet throughout our trip, they chose to keep #5 running and not shut it down.

Premium cost, overbooked, not clean, worthless elevators

Extremely disappointed. Paid premium cost by the time you add in all the VRBO fees, Book-That-Condo fees, and Tidewater Resort fees. And our floors were filled with grit when we walked in our condo-and throughout! Dishes had to be rewashed before use - probably the result of NO hot water at kitchen sink! While scalding water in the bathrooms. Beach area is too little for the occupancy. Had to sit beside drunk high schoolers/college kids - no matter what area on the beach. And had to budget in 10-15 mins to go up or down the elevator at Tidewater - ridiculous from the 20th floor!!! Only reason not rated a "1" was the location is really good for the food and places we wanted to go. We will never go back, ever!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo has a great view. The biggest downside to staying here is the wait at the elevators. This is the 20th floor and took 30 minutes to an hour sometimes to get up and down. It took a long time for the fridge to cool, but was fine after running overnight. Nothing to clean up with, bring your own supplies. No broom, mop, etc. either. The condo was clean, except for the floors, and we had no way of cleaning on our own without purchasing all of the needed supplies. Pretty roomy for 4 adults, two teenagers, and two little kids. We enjoyed Angelo's Steak the best during our stay and Captain Jacks the least. We enjoyed the Sea Screamer dolphin cruise.

July 2018 Stay

Awful, awful, awful! To begin with the furniture and curtains in the living area were stained and nasty. The company did have someone come in to clean the furniture the day I called. There were also dirty wash rags hanging on the shower rod in the master bathroom. Secondly the unit is TINY! It is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom but there is no room for anything but a bed in each bedroom, and the bathrooms were minuscule. In the second bedroom you couldn’t get to the closet bc the bed was too close to the wall. Thirdly, the chairs on the balcony were very worn and I was afraid one of us would fall through them before out stay was over. Fourthly, there was not a broom in the unit, and staying on the beach for a week we accumulated a lot of sand in the unit with no way to get it out. AND finally on the day of check out we were ready to start loading the car at 8 am. It took us until 11:00 am to get to leave. We waited on the elevator for 2.5 hours! It was ridiculous! I will never stay at this place again!

Great location but don't recommend this particular unit

Tidewater is a nice property and great location. The furniture in this unit is very uncomfortable and out dated. The TV's were very small(computer screens). Unit could use some repairs and updating.

Beautiful condo

Beautiful condo! Only issue was waiting for the elevators. We waited for 1.5 hours for the elevator on day of check out! It was crazy, only complaint. The condo was really nice and clean.

Unit 2014 Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All went very well. We were very pleased thar the condo had 2 bed that were king size. That is what we wanted . On the web site it was 1 king 1 queen. The only complaint we have is the furniture was not very comfortable the chairs was to strait up and made of wood looked great but did not sit well. Elevators were slow and a lot of people did not wear mast in Elevator. Security was GREAT VERY IMPRESSED.
