Una cabaña de troncos de principios de 1800 con electrodomésticos actualizados. El lugar perfecto para escapar de la ciudad, tener un retiro familiar, una boda, un evento de negocios, una fiesta de cumpleaños para niños o una escapada para parejas. Senderos para caminar. This was such an amazing cabin!! It is completely private and tucked away in its own forest with its own trails. Our dogs loved it too. The decor in the place was super neat and beautiful and the view was beautiful. The upstairs sitting/ sleeping area was a special surprise. And it was fun being a kid again and climbing the ladder to the loft. Loved it. Communication with the owner was fast and professional. Although there’s no central AC, the window units and fans provided made it comfortable even in the summer. I would love to go back in the cooler months. It is in the wilderness so expect neat sounds from frogs and other night creatures to fill the air. Will definitely stay again, especially in cooler months to enjoy the fire feature and outdoors more.

We cannot say enough good things about this property. 1800s home in the woods but still close to all amenities. Close to Charlotte. The local area had great restaurants an everything we needed. The property is beautiful. The house is amazing. Wish we had more time there. The host was also incredible. Responded so quickly at check in. Highly recommend.

Perfect natural oasis close to Cabarrus!

Beautiful and peaceful, but only 15 minutes from our event at the Cabarrus Arena. Trails around the property were amazing, and my sons enjoyed fishing and sitting on the dock.

Cozy elegance

The property was clean, the accommodations were luxurious, and we were smitten with the beauty and seclusion of the setting. We went for several walks and enjoyed the lake and firepit tremendously.

A More Than Perfect Getaway!

An absolute gorgeous cabin located in a beautiful setting overlooking a pond! What more would anyone want! This is seclusion at its best, privacy and tranquility, yet restaurants and shopping only minutes away. Owners thought of everything to make this retreat perfect! Pictures do not do it justice! We did not want to leave!!

Beautiful property and house. Great location not far from all the things to do in Charlotte and surrounding area, but feels like you are in the wilderness at this property. Had a great time and definitely plan to return

The place was great! The beds were so comfy! It was perfect being so close to a wedding venue. The owner was super nice and very quick to respond re: any questions. We would love to go again and just relax!

Great family getaway

We had a great time at the cabin for the holiday weekend! The property is great for exploring with something to do for all ages. The back porch and area is nicely shaded so it’s pleasant even on a hot sunny day. The room setup was great for our family of teens.

Fun weekend getaway with family!

We loved spending the weekend at this awesome cabin. We spent time exploring the trails, fishing for the first time, rowing in the boat on the pond, having campfires and s’mores, just having a fun time with the kids! Even our senior dog loved walking around and being outside on the property. (He usually sleeps most of the day on the couch, so for him to want to be up and out, was wonderful!) The inside of the house was just as fun. With only having four of us, two being my 7 and 11 year old kids, we only used a couple of the bedrooms. But, we decided next time we come to visit (because we loved it so much), the upstairs bedroom with the lounge area would definitely be utilized. There was so much space to spread out and enjoy that we know we need to bring family or friends. We loved looking through the pictures of the transformation of the house, my kids loved to play hide and seek, and there were even puzzles and a telescope to enjoy. We were able to visit Reed’s Gold Mine and also the Sundae Shop, both of which were just a couple of minutes down the road. D’Anna’s Kitchen was also a favorite with so many choices we can’t wait to try something else next time! There is also a very convenient Walmart for everything you need, as well as, more stores and restaurants in that plaza. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to making more memories in this special cabin in the woods!

Cabin in the woods

This is our second time staying at the property. This quaint rustic cabin in the woods was just perfect for our family. It’s only a short drive to many local area attractions, grocery stores and shopping, all while still giving you that alone in the woods vibe. The frogs and cicadas sing a wonderful song at night and there were no pesky mosquitos to be found. The pond out back is not only nice to look at from the rustic wooden rocking chairs, but filled with little fish that love hot dogs. Everyone in our group caught (and released) at least one. If you’re traveling to the area, and want to experience the perfect mix of rustic living and modern convince, I would highly recommend this property. But please don’t trash the place as we fully intend on making this cabin a must stay whenever we visit the area.

Wonderful cabin in the woods

We had such a lovely time at this cabin. Even though it is a very historic home, the owners have done an amazing job of keeping everything in great shape. So much charm and character. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The property is beautiful, we loved sitting on the porch swing and rocking in rocking chairs and roasting s’mores by the lake. The house was great for my family and my sister’s family with a couple of small kids. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. This is a lovely place to stay!

Very cute, rustic cabin! Has everything you need and a great view of water. Follow the directions to get there! Also, be careful plugging in too many electronics at one time!
