We’re sorry to hear that our exterior security cameras caused any discomfort. They are in place for the safety and security of our guests and property. To be emphatically clear, there are no cameras or recording devices of any kind inside the Guest House. All cameras are located outdoors and record only exterior areas of the property. It means a great deal to know the details landed well for you, from the feel of the home to the flow of communication. That balance is something I take seriously, so hearing it reflected back like this carries real weight. Hi, I’m Bernard—Charlotte local, proud dad to two amazing girls, and your host at the guest house. I’ve lived in the area for years and truly believe Charlotte is one of the best-kept secrets in the South. When I’m not working or spending time with my daughters, I enjoy cooking, discovering new music, and being outdoors (especially when the Carolina weather cooperates!).

I’ve put a lot of thought into creating a space that feels welcoming, peaceful, and easy. Hosting allows me to share that sense of home with travelers from all over the world. Whether you’re here for work, play, or just passing through, I’m here to help make your stay smooth, restful, and memorable. Let me know if you need anything—I’m always happy to help.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I chose this neighborhood because it offers the best of both worlds—peaceful, quiet streets with a true sense of community, yet just a short drive from the energy and culture of Uptown Charlotte. It is the kind of place where neighbors wave, trees line the road, and you can actually hear the birds in the morning.

What I enjoy most is the calm, safe vibe—it is the perfect setting to unwind after a busy day. Whether guests are visiting for business, family, or a weekend getaway, this neighborhood gives you space to breathe while keeping you connected to the best restaurants, parks, and attractions Charlotte has to offer.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This guest house stands out because it truly feels like a hidden gem—private, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed to help guests feel right at home. It is not just a place to sleep—it is a place to settle in, recharge, and feel taken care of.

From the cozy layout and quality amenities to the little extras like endless hot water, fast WiFi, and a washer/dryer, everything has been chosen with comfort and ease in mind. The home is full of warmth, light, and charm, with a layout that works equally well for solo travelers, couples, or professionals on the go.

What really makes it unique, though, is the heart behind it. I take pride in being a responsive, respectful host who cares about the guest experience. I have created a space where people can feel safe, relaxed, and welcome—and guests often tell me they feel it the moment they walk in the door.
