We would like to extend our sincere apologies about the state of the hot tub, we were unaware that the spa was not operating correctly and sometimes messages can get lost in the shuffle between VRBO and our Property Managers. This is not our intention and we hope to make it up to you by offering a discount on a future stay with Elite Pacific. As we are currently in a global pandemic, our cleaning procedures and pricing have certainly increased to ensure the health and safety of our guests. We apologize for any undue stress that our processes caused you, that is never our intention, and any additional information we collect or things we request are simply to assist with the smooth transition and added enjoyment of your vacation. Arrival information and trip details are collected to expedite the check-in and checkout process and give our property managers more insight should a flight be delayed and plans need to be altered. Additionally, we want to be able to provide you a tailored vacation experience with access to the finest attractions and activities, but we apologize if you felt the questions were too bombarding, our guests' privacy is of the utmost importance to us and we will reconsider how we go about collecting this information in the future. This estate is located in a community on Kona's gold coast and a vehicle is highly recommended for access to beaches, shops, dining, and other attractions that are a short drive from the property, we apologize if this was not effectively communicated before your stay. Regarding the property's information binder containing incorrect information, it is always best practice to refer to the emails directly sent to you with arrival and departure instructions as this is the most up to date information. However, thank you for bringing this to our attention so that we can ensure the welcome book is updated accordingly! Requests for the pool skimmer, air conditioning, and linen cleaning have been implemented for this property in an effort to reduce damage and keep costs lower for our guests. We like to promote the spirit of Kokua (to take care) for all of our properties and we apologize if this was an inconvenience for you and your family. We have carefully reviewed your concerns and will take the necessary steps to ensure that any future experience is more aligned with the exemplary Elite service standards that we have curated across our portfolio of properties. We hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future, perhaps at another property with preferable views and within walking distance to other attractions.
