Hermosa cabaña de troncos ubicada en South Fork, CO que se encuentra a orillas del Rio Grand River. ¡Casa perfecta para grupos grandes! Grandes descuentos para parejas o familias pequeñas que reserven en el último minuto. ¡Solo envíanos un mensaje! Capacidad para 25 personas. Perfecto para vacaciones familiares, grupos de iglesias, retiros de edredones / manualidades, reuniones familiares, grupos de caza y viajes grupales de esquí. 6 habitaciones más un altillo grande, 3 1/2 baños. Cada habitación tiene un nombre único y está decorada con su propio tema. Disfrute de la hermosa vista del río desde la planta principal y las habitaciones de arriba o la tranquilidad y tranquilidad de las habitaciones del sótano. La sala de juegos está en el sótano con una mesa de billar, fooseball, lanzamiento de bolsas de frijoles, TV con Dish Network y varias mesas de juego. Totalmente amueblado y recientemente renovado con camas de madera talladas a mano y colchones de espuma de memoria. Doesn’t Get Any Better!!

We always stay here when we come to ski WolfCreek!!! We have a group of 10+ and stay at the lodge. Always clean!!! The amenities are everything you need! Bring your food, drinks and family/friends and make the best memories. Melissa and Dan are the easiest and most kind people to work with. They have always went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and always available to answer any questions or help in any way. Your stay here will be everything you want and like us, you will be returning customers!!!!

We used this property for our wedding. The lodge held all of our friends and family comfortably during the event (27 total), and 14 of our guests stayed with us at the lodge during the week with plenty of space for everyone to do their own activities. The grounds are beautiful with the river literally right behind the back deck! Melissa was very communicative and helpful before and during our stay. If you are used to having AC, make sure you bring a fan or two- we were not prepared the first night!

Awesome as always!

This is our second time to stay at the retreat, and we loved it as much as the first time. Plenty of room for 2 large families, and the view of the river/mountains can't be beat. Love this place!

Family Thanksgiving

We had a large group of 22 people and were very pleased with the Lodge. We had part of our group stay at the cabin within walking distance and it worked out great for us!

We had a wonderful time together over Christmas, but that was due entirely to our family being together—not the accommodations. Unfortunately, Dan and Melissa Jones came across as uncaring hosts who appeared focused solely on collecting payment, while offering nothing back when issues arose. They were quick to charge but did not offer any accommodation, compensation, or effort to resolve inconveniences such as a broken dishwasher.The cabin itself did not meet basic standards for comfort or hospitality. It is run down and located directly on Highway 160, which results in loud traffic noise at most hours of the day. This was not adequately disclosed and significantly affected our stay.The property was advertised as suitable for groups, but it did not have the amenities to host a group comfortably. The kitchen was poorly equipped, with very few cooking utensils, mismatched forks and plates, and multiple pans that were damaged or unusable. Cleanliness was also an issue, including dirty walls and chipped paint throughout the cabin.Basic household amenities were lacking. Towels and blankets were thin, with only one towel provided per person. There was no laundry detergent, dryer sheets, or basic toiletries such as soap, shampoo, or conditioner.The dishwasher was broken during our stay, and despite notifying the hosts, no attempt was made to fix it or provide an alternative solution. Additionally, we were charged a fee for a service animal, which should not occur under stand

Great place to stay particularly if you have a large group. Ample room for all!

We really enjoyed our short stay, great location with easy access to world class skiing at Wolf Creek and close enough to spend a relaxing evening in the historic mining town of Creede. We had so much fun and definitely will return next year!

Great Wedding Venue!

We thoroughly enjoyed Rio River Retreat for my daughters' wedding! The owners were great, friendly, and responsive! There was plenty of room for everyone and the barn was perfect for the ceremony and reception. I recommend this venue!

Wonderful Accomations for retreats and vacations

This is a wonderful house off the Rio Grande river for retreats, vacations, family reunions, and more. The owners are very hospitable and eager to help. Amazing Stay in South Fork

Myself and a group of friends stayed here for a week to board at Wolf Creek and it was everything we needed and more!! Melissa was so great and friendly. She even had the driveway plowed for us when we got snowed in. This was an unexpected and very nice surprise. South Fork is a cool little town and has everything you need for your stay and is also only 25 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski Area. Next time I come back to Wolf Creek I will be staying with Melissa!!

Our go-to place to stay!

This lodge easily houses our group of 15-20 every year for our annual ski trip, and it has plenty of space to relax, play games, cook, and eat together. The owners are easy to communicate with and friendly people. We hope to return year after year!

Fantastic Stay!

What a great property for our group! The cabin is spacious and very open which allowed our large family (14+) to have enough room for everyone. The house was very clean and the owner's communication was very timely. We would stay here again.

This was my second time staying at the Rio River Lodge and it just keeps getting better! Melissa goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable and memorable. Our group had a blast getting to all be together! The location is great and easy to get to Wolf Creek to ski. Overall I highly recommended staying at this charming lodge!

Ski trip stay

House and location was everything we were looking for. Very spacious, plenty of room for guest and hanging out. Was perfect for our large group on ski trip and have zero complaints. House was beautiful in a great town with everything need in south fork colorado.

We have always loved coming to the South Fork area for summer vacations and just recently started skiing at Wolf Creek. Dan even camped here as a kid and always dreamed of one day living in the mountains. After we got married we dreamed together of owning a retreat center in the mountains and this lodge was everything we were looking for. Riverfront with beautiful views of the mountains and would sleep large groups. What more could we ask for?

You will absolutely LOVE relaxing on the large porch and hearing the sound of the river just a few feet away. Nothing beats morning coffee on the deck while watching the sun rise against the mountains! The log work is absolutely amazing- quality craftsmanship by all means!

A perfect location for a craft/ scrapbook/ quilting retreat!! We provide craft tables & chairs for up to 20 guests.
