El invierno se acerca y no hay mejor lugar para estar que acurrucado frente al fuego después de un largo día esquiando en uno de los principales centros turísticos de Vermont.

La casa es una casa clásica de postes y vigas que cuenta con 3 dormitorios y un sofá cama con mucho espacio para familiares y amigos. Te deslizarás hacia tu escapada relajante con los cálidos detalles en madera y el encanto rústico de esta cabaña. La chimenea central y la chimenea permiten conversaciones durante la noche en torno a un poco de chocolate caliente (o una bebida para adultos), y la cubierta y la parrilla del patio trasero pueden convertirse en una memorable parrillada y picnic en verano para todas las comidas del día.

The cabin was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the fireplace and the kitchen fully stocked with cooking tools and suppies. The area is great! We did two hikes while there. The trailhead for Mt. Haystack was even within walking distance of the house. We didn't use the pool or health club facilities, but they were right across the street. A cute downtown and supermarket are within a 15 min drive. Our host answered our questions and the check in was seamless. I would definitely stay again!

The Perfect Vermont Getaway

The Chimney Hill Community in Wilmington Vermont is a wonderful getaway location and this home is an incredible place to enjoy in Chimney Hill. The home is very well appointed with everything one needs for a short-term getaway or for a longer stay. Although many think of this area as a winter destination close to excellent skiing, it actually is a fabulous destination in the summer as well with so many trails located nearby. The home's beautiful deck facing a forest of trees on the mountainside is the perfect location to unwind with a barbeque. And its location across the street from the community clubhouse with access to a gym and pools is a bonus. This home is HIGHLY recommended!

Magical Getaway in the Woods!

Gorgeous place, wonderful hosts. This home was like a beautiful mystery box of surprises. The most beautiful place to be away in nature and experience the foliage. Didn’t wanna leave!

My group and I greatly enjoyed our stay, and we were appreciative of Mariana and Chris accommodating our need for sheets and towels at the property. We didn’t realize until after we booked that we needed to bring our own linens. This would have been tough for us since we were traveling with packed cars already, but they were able to accommodate us and leave clean sheets and towels. I would definitely recommend the property, as long as bringing your own linens is possible for you!

Great Ski House

Nice stay in beautiful VT

The home was well stocked, clean, and as described in the listing. The living room and basement have lots of open space so great for groups to take advantage of. Home is in a great area across from the Chimney Hill clubhouse. Communication with the hosts was great and they were extremely responsive before and after booking our stay.

Cozy mountain retreat

We enjoyed our time here very much. The host was very communicative and Told us to bring some extra blankets which worked out great since we had some kids on the pullout in the loft. We came here to ski and we did a lot of that but since the house was near the clubhouse we also went swimming. That was a fun distraction for the children. The house has ping-pong and we brought board games. The kids really enjoys the theater in the basement too. We didn’t open the queen bed in the bunk bed room so I can’t comment on that but the bed in the downstairs was comfortable. The other room upstairs has a full size bed. It’s a short drive ( about 15-20 minutes ) to Mount snow. Good times .

Beautiful mountain spot!

Gorgeous property which was both spacious and cozy. The environment was very cozy and provided plenty of space for all guests. Only a short drive from Mount Snow and provided great amenities for Aprés Ski. Check in and check out was very simple.

Great weekend getaway!

We had a terrific weekend stay! The house is clean and well kept, the rooms are cozy and the living room perfect for playing games by the fire. It’s close to skiing and restaurants. Also, Mariana was very communicative to make sure we had no problem getting to the house after a snow storm.

Mt Snow Cabin Stay

Cabin was a short drive to Mt Snow which was perfect for our weekend stay to ski and snowboard! Check in process was quick and easy, cabin was clean and very spacious.

Great Home Away From Home

Beautiful spacious home with room for a large family and more. Great for kids. Has lots of toys and a ping-pong table. Clean, well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Well situated, woodsy feel, and lots of nice things to do in the area. Would certainly visit again. The only issue is that you'll need to bring your own sheets and towels. Kids beds are twin size. Bring king size for the larger bedrooms. Highly recommended.

Perfect weekend getaway

We had such a great time here with the family for a long weekend. The space was perfect for our group and the owners couldn’t be nicer or more responsive to questions! The house is directly across from the clubhouse which was so convenient for taking the kids to the pool and playground. Chimney Hill is a huge place so we loved being able to walk the kids across the street to play. The house was so clean and had everything we needed including toys in the loft for the kids. We would love to stay here again!

Birthday Weekend Get Away

The retal property was as advertised and everyone loved it. The house was clean, and everything was in place. The were able to swim at the clubhouse conveniently located across the street. The clubhouse bost workout facility an outdoor and indoor heated pool. I can't wait to return to this same house.

Nice Vermont Getaway!

My family and I had a really nice week staying at this house. The house had everything we needed (and plenty of toys and games for the kids too!) and the location was great. We could walk right across the street to go swimming, and a short bit away was the Mount Haystack Trail for a good hike. There was an issue that arose on the day of our check-in, which was beyond the control of the owner, but the owner was very communicative and proactive about addressing it. It is obvious that the owner is very involved and easily accessible for questions, and really wants all of her guests to enjoy their stay. This house and location made for a great summer getaway, and I would stay here again--also would consider during the winter for some skiing.

Great host but slightly disappointed

I have taken time since staying here to think about if I wanted to write a review or not, I’m not usually one to complain. Overall we had a nice weekend and enjoyed our time here however I was slightly disappointed in the house itself. Upon arrival there was supposed to be a key box with a code, it was no where to be found luckily the door had been left open by the cleaning lady, the host contacted me that evening to inform me where the previous guest had left the key. Once we were in the house I was first disappointed that the listing said it had air conditioning but the house did not and it was very very hot as the weather outside had been in the 90s all week. There were no fans either, we had to go out and buy fans. When I contacted the host she was very fast to reply and informed us of a window unit we could install in one of the bedrooms as she didn’t want us to ruin our stay which I appreciated and we did but the one unit really didn’t cool the house down much. Then we addressed the fact that there was a funny smell, we finally found that the fridge was full of rotting food that was left there which we had to dispose of. Lastly the house was overall just not very clean, there were cobwebs on all the lights and in ever corner, the floors had a bunch of dirt on them I ended up vacuuming before the rest of our friends arrived and then just other areas didn’t seem cleaned properly. Lastly there were no batteries in any of the tv remotes so we could not use the tv at all all weekend. Like I said overall the layout of the house is great and we enjoyed our stay I just wish it wasn’t advertised as having air conditioning and it was cleaned better.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Having the clubhouse immediately across the street is a huge advantage - especially if you are traveling with kids. Even with some limited hours in the clubhouse, just having the tennis court and basketball hoop a minute outside the door can give everyone the time outside when you feel you're getting too cramped up.

The deck with the umbrella is great as long as the wether holds out for you, and the stars are so bright and clear at night, you'd wish you didn't have to come back inside to sleep. If the season is right, the kitchen table is more of a formality than a need - just eat on the deck and enjoy the great outdoors.
