Este espacioso apartamento de 1 habitación tiene todo lo que podrías pedir en una casa. Con impresionantes vistas, esta casa es perfecta para usted, independientemente de su motivo de viaje. La habitación está bellamente decorada con toneladas de luz y ventanas. La cama queen size es tan cómoda que querrás quedarte en ella todo el día. Hay un t. v. que también tiene acceso a Netflix y Direct TV. ¡Además, el Wi-Fi es tan rápido en la habitación como en la sala de estar!

Hay una barbacoa situada en la zona detrás de la unidad.

Absolute Gem

If you’re clicking around trying to decide where to stay, just do yourself the favor and book this place. You’ll be so happy you did. We lived in this EXACT apartment 15 years ago so coming back to stay was like coming home ... but with great updates. Everything was perfect - clean, well laid out, plenty of space, well stocked. Added bonuses that most other vacation rentals don’t have, A/C and cable tv - so great!! Walking distance to the beach and great food. Neighborhood is so cute and charming. Only thing to note, it is an apartment - noise happens - from both upstairs tenants - not a huge deal but noticeable. We will definitely be back!!

Short walk to the main strip of restaurants and stores. The neighbors are very nice.

Overall a cozy, quiet and safe place to stay. Much to do within a 5min drive in every direction.

Great location but property was blah

The neighborhood this rental is in, is amazing. The age demographic of the entire neighborhood did feel a bit older (like most residents in their 60s) but everyone is SUPER FRIENDLY. The apartment itself had a spacious living room and dining room. The kitchen is very dated with tile counter tops that were hard to keep clean. The bedroom is very small as the area between the wall and queen bed was super tight. The bathroom was small and not the cleanest. The bathroom door was very dusty and had pubes on it. GROSS! The building manager wasn't the best person to work with. We did not have hand soap or dishwasher soap in the unit. When I contacted them, they swore that they had restocked it. They contacted a neighbor who dropped some off later that evening for us. The bigger issue was that while we were staying (DURING COVID TIMES), the building manager wanted to allow us to have an appraiser come and evaluate the house. When I explained that we were not comfortable having someone in the property while we were there, he said that it was the only time he could do it as he only came in from Catalina once a month. I reluctantly agreed after but did say that it needs to be quick and they needed to wear a mask. When he and the appaiser arrived the appraiser was quick and wearing a mask however the building manager WAS NOT WEARING A MASK. Also spent the whole time trying to talk to me face to face while my wife was on work video calls. Very rude. So this is tough to say as we really liked the neighborhood we would not suggest staying here.

Great Stay in Belmont Shores Long Beach

This was the best location for a great vacation - right at the LB Marina & short walking distance to beaches, restaurants & shopping. Pet friendly unit & neighborhood.

Perfect Belmont Shores Spot

Wishing I could keep this place a secret, as it was in the perfect place and was such a great stay!! The unit itself is a great setup and the location makes it even better. I will definitely be looking to stay here whenever I return to the area! Highly recommend!

A Perfect Getaway!!

We loved our time at the Bay Shore retreat. It was a perfect three night stay and was just across the street from the water. Everything was there that we needed and the kitchen was stocked well. We walked every morning and loved every minute of our stay!!

Cozy Place, Great Location

The property is located on an amazingly quiet street, especially given the density of the housing. Being across the street from the water was a wonderful extra and the breeze off the ocean was perfect. Close to shops, the beach, and main streets and the freeway made it easy to move around and enjoy the neighborhood. The aparment is classic Long Beach with nice hardwood floors, arched passage ways between rooms. a tiled, functional bathroom, a funky kitchen, and open living room with lots of windows to let in the ocean smells and breezes. A modest but very nice place!

Great Little Place Near The Water!

This is a wonderful historic property on Alamitos Bay Channel. It's in a very quaint and picturesque neighborhood within walking distance to famous 2nd Street and all that it has to offer. The people here are so friendly and dog friendly! The apartment is charmingly decorated with everything we could need. There are a couple of chairs and a table out front with a water view that we took advantage of regularly. The property manager was extremely accommodating with our ever changing departure dates due to Covid-19. Book with confidence at Bree's Bay!

Being an area local for 27 years, I can tell you that this property in Belmont Shore is a gem. The rental is well appointed with everything you could need. Its in an excellent location across the street from one of Alamitos Bays prime channels and within walking distance to 2nd Street. The managers were more than accomodating with our international travel restrictions and helping us extend our stay. Book with confidence at Bree's Bay!

Great even in winter

This was a charming , cozy apartment with character in a great location, and it was a wonderful choice for our small family to meet for Thanksgiving dinner. We enjoyed our walks along the harbor which is right across the street. A bonus was that many homes were already decorated for Christmas. Best of all, our furry family member was content with the accommodations as well. The only issue we had was that even though the pull-out sofa bed was new, the mattress was too thin and uncomfortable. However, the couch itself was okay for one person. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will come back again. Don't expect luxury and you won't be disappointed.

What to expect......Great, quiet, neighborhood and view.....close to so much, walking or riding bike. Roomy, clean and had the basics to meet our needs for the weekend. Would like to stay again. What not to expect (as 'stated' in description on site).......1. The 'home google' did not work, said it was not connected to the internet. Tried to contact owner, and the info on app was not correct......... 2. There was not any coffee, creamer and pastries to start off our day (as pictured and stated).......... 3. There was a 'dock' with a picnic table over looking the water, but it was not accessible to us, due to it being privately owned by a permanent resident; not by renters. We did not allow this to disrupt our weekend and not that it made a difference in our stay, but if something is stated on the website, it should be available.

Rick & Nancy’s “Do Nothing” vacation...

Location, Location, Location! Perfectly situated on a quiet street with a gorgeous view of a waterway, this delightful apartment was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Adrain, our host, was responsive to an initial need, which was resolved in a matter of hours. Nothing serious. And, although it wasn’t mentioned in the listing, the place is newly air-conditioned with 2 whisper-quiet “mini-split” wall units. One is in the main living space and one in the bedroom. Close to everything Long Beach & environs have to offer, yet perfectly quiet at night. We would go back here once a month, if we could...

Awsome Location

Location is walkable to lots of shops and restaurants, beach, water sport rentals. On street parking with plenty of room. Apartment is on the first floor of a four unit house. Nicely decorated and appointed. All towels, sheets, kitchen items, beach chairs and towels available. We loved the location and access to this beautiful area. Very safe area with very friendly people. Does have AC although we did not need it. Windows open for a nice breeze. Washer and Dryer are available for use on the top deck and are shared with other apartment units as well as a grill. Owners were very responsive. Easy check in. Great property in a perfect location

If You Like Retro And...

...people watching, then this is the place for you. This unit had such charm too it, everything in there (right down to the wine glasses) all had the same feel. My wife loved it, and she's picky. As a former cook, I was impressed by the Westhof cutlery. The kids were kept busy during down time with included 20 plus movie channels on Direct TV. The restaurants, happy hours, and shops were endless. The three other units were filled but very quiet. My biggest regret? Not bringing the dogs. The whole city, restaurants included; are all dog friendly. The owner was incredibly responsive and friendly. Overall a wonderful experience. Wish we stayed longer.

Disappointing

Like Jeff (see his July review), I found the property was not nearly as nice as described on VRBO. I really liked Erin (the property manager) and her communication was very quick and responsive, especially in advance. That said, I think we travelers owe it to others to write with integrity, especially when the information given on the VRBO site is so very different from what you actually get. Not a lot of room to review so just the facts: a) there was no AC. This was not stated in the description; b) the blinds were broken in the living room which meant the windows could not be opened, therefore no breeze. We could leave the door open and there was a nice breeze but you can't do that at night when you are trying to sleep. And when we had the door open we had two different dogs wander into our unit--including the property managers dog; also were told the previous guests broke the blinds and someone was coming to fix them in a day or two; that was not done and we wouldn't have wanted a contractor in our unit while there anyway; c) the upstairs deck was filthy and completely unusable; the bbq (pictured on the upper deck) was shoved under the stairs out back of my unit and totally unusable; e) were were not told we could use the dock and one of the regular tenants was there almost the whole time so it seemed like a private dock; e) the washer/dryer was off of the upstairs deck; not in the unit and was shared by all 4 units. I had to text the property manager to get her to rotate her own laundry after waiting 2 hrs; f) the basic hospitality supplies are NOTHING like what's pictured (ie. no coffee supplies, two tiny bottles of shampoo/conditioner only, no trash bags provided). On the positive side the location was great. Walking distance to two beaches, one of which was also a park with playground equipment. This was great for my grandson. Also, walking distance into town where restaurants and shops are located. I hope the issues in this unit are addressed quickly. It has the potential to be a great place! The VRBO descriptions need to be honest. We will not stay again and it makes me weary to book through VRBO at all. .

Apartment was nice, but not as described on VRBO

This apartment is nice, but not nearly as nice as described on VRBO. The VRBO listing repeatedly refers to this unit as a "home" but it is a first floor apartment in a four unit apartment building (two upstairs and two downstairs). It is in a lovely neighborhood but there are certainly no "breathtaking" views. The dock is not "outside", but across the street, and while there is a picnic table on the dock, it was cluttered and surrounded by boats on all three sides that restrict views, and there were no "lounge chairs" as described. The promised "upstairs deck" was attached to the building manager's apartment, and was cluttered with her personal stuff, and completely unusable by VRBO renters. Totally NOT what was shown in the picture on the VRBO site. Also, there was NO washer or dryer in the unit, which was listed as an amenity. The "fatal" flaw of the first floor apartment, however, is that frequently used alley runs down the side of the house, and none of the windows have curtains, which means there is NO privacy inside the house, including the bedroom. There are blinds, but they can't be lowered when the casement windows are opened (they open to the inside, not outside), and since there is NO air conditioning, you need to leave the windows open (and the shades up) at all times in the summer to be comfortable. Renter beware. This apartment has some lovely features, and the surrounding neighborhood is wonderful, but the apartment living experience here is NOT what is promised in the VRBO listing.

Perfectly positioned!

This property was perfect! The pictures really do not do the unit justice. You have a perfect view of the marina right out the large, beautiful front windows. The property is within walking distance of 2nd Street and all it has to offer, but has plenty of parking right out front if you have a vehicle. The neighborhood is not only safe, but there are lots of walkers/joggers, and everyone is very friendly. We stayed here for two weeks during a transition period for my new job, and I’m very glad we chose those unit.
