This 1940s cottage was amazing! Its beautiful nautical/beach decor and large outdoor deck provided the perfect place to relax. The owner made checking in and out incredibly convenient enabling us to focus solely on enjoying our stay. We look forward to returning soon!

Great Location

Great location on the peninsula. No ocean view, but you can hear the ocean, especially at night. The beach and bay are very close. Natalie is very nice and considerate.The bed is good as is the shower. The apartment is a little worn and the bedroom is tight. The living and dining area are good-sized.Night parking can be a challenge.Overall, a nice place to stay. We enjoyed our stay.

Forget the hotel and stay at this beautiful property. It is close to everything in Long Beach and perfectly located steps from the beach. Natalie is the most amazing host. This is truly a hidden gem in Long Beach.

A perfect place in Long Beach

Absolutely lovely host and the accommodations were some of the finest we have stayed at using VRBO. The kitchen was fully stocked with organic food and beverages, the neighborhood was exceptionally quiet, and the location is perfect for walkability. One of the finest stays ever.

Great place to stay in Belmont Shore

You can walk to the beach or the bay. The host is excellent and will communicate with you. There was fruit and chips and salsa available. Great cross ocean breezes. Perfect beach getaway!

Cottage on the Peninsula

The upstairs cottage is sweet and charming. It’s quiet, private, comfortable, and homey. The neighborhood is quiet and the proximity to both the bay and the ocean couldn’t be closer. I had a very enjoyable stay!

Just What I Wanted!!!

Did not disappoint: the location, full size apartment, the large front deck, and a wonderful host were better than we expected. Super clean and such fresh fluffy linens were special. Felt like noone ever stays there which isnt the case!

Great for Business Travelers

I believe this is my 5th time at this property and it won't be my last. I have to travel for business and it is like home away from home. Much better than a one room hotel for a similar price. Nice walking path near by and safe. Very clean with all the amenities. Natalie, the owner is fantastic. I can't say enough good things about this property.

Great place by the beach.

This place was perfect for my husband + I. We enjoyed daily walks to the beach (which is literally a few doors down), and the host was very gracious by providing some breakfast food, fresh berries, as well as great coffee. This is a quiet neighborhood just like we prefer. Sitting on the sun deck with a book, cup of coffee and sun shine can’t be beat. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Natalie for being a great host!!

Made for a great stay in Long Beach!

This was our first time in California. The beach cottage was comfortable, inviting, yet private. It had everything we needed for our week long stay. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. Natalie met us on arrival, made us feel quite at home and included snacks and breakfasts foods. She made herself available for any needs we had. A wonderful host!

Natalie is great host. She is so nice and welcoming. She answered all our questions. Having breakfast items there is such a sweet and thoughtful thing to do. Nicely updated upstairs unit of an older beach area duplex. Very friendly and accommodating owners live in the unit below, so you deal directly with them instead of some uninformed corporate property manager. Best VRBO experience we’ve ever had.

So relaxing we could have stayed for a month

Our 9-day stay at the beach house was everything we had hoped for and more. Nestled between the ocean and the bay we appreciated that it was quiet and serene. The accommodations were spacious, comfortable and clean. Natalie provided amenities we never would have received at a hotel or probably any other vrbo: from a bowl of delicious tangerines on the dining table, three types of coffees, teas, oatmeal, tortilla chips plus berries, creamer and salsa in the fridge, to beach towels, chairs, sun & rain umbrellas, surf board, make up remover... I mean really... where else would you find such care!

Between the Beaches

Very cute property located about 1/2 block either way between the beach on the marina side or the Pacific on the other side. The property owner was so sweet and made sure we had what we needed. She even stocked coffee and breakfast items for us because our flight came in after 9pm. Many Thanx to Natalie we Loved our stay!!! Highley recomend this spot gang!! The Floyds

Perfect from start to finish

A perfect place to experience the peninsula. Natalie greeted us when we arrived and guided us in things to do. We loved that there was some welcome things in the fridge and coffee Juice and bagels to start our stay. The wine was a nice touch to finish that first day without having to run to the store. My husband and I really loved Natalie’s hospitality and home. It’s extremely clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Just what we wanted! Natalie helped us with places we were wanting to shop, visit, etc. She also provided some delicious food for breakfast. She went above and beyond for everything! Long Beach is not only its own City, but it's close to both Orange County and Los Angeles County attractions, sites, and destinations. From the Angels to the Dodgers for baseball, SoFi Stadium for football and concerts, or Disneyland and more, Long Beach is equidistance to both LA and OC.
The Peninsula is a quiet, peaceful location for your travels. And the beach cottage is tucked away just off the sand.

Situated between the bay and the beach, this beach cottage for two is tucked away from the every day. Have a Nespresso on the deck, or meander out to the bay and take in a magnificent sunrise while planning the rest of your day. In the evening, grab your running shoes, or a glass of spirits and head out to the boardwalk to watch the sun set over the Pacific ocean. For dinner, visit Belmont Shore and 2nd Street - or PCH and 2nd - or stay home and cook in a fully appointed kitchen. Set up your computer and work, or set up your sewing machine and quilt. The Beach Cottage is a duplex - VRBO accommodations are upstairs, with private deck. As a Premier Host, we try to make sure your stay is "just right"! Owner and dog live and work downstairs in separate accommodations. We're here to assist, otherwise, we'll respect your privacy.
