Casa la Cala está recientemente incluida en VRBO por los anfitriones experimentados John y Ellen. Hemos recibido a cientos de huéspedes durante varios años en nuestras otras casas de vacaciones.

The house was in a private location but just four blocks from downtown. It was an easy walk to get to shops and restaurants. It was clean, comfortable and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was amazing. We didn’t cook but used the coffee bar which was a welcome feature. John was available for questions and provided loads of information on the many TVs, places to go, and restaurants. Our girls week was great. We met the nicest people in town. Don’t miss Nona’s pizza and Bassano Cheesecake for great coffee and desserts!

Immaculate home in artsy neighborhood

This was a great find for my family when visiting Grandparents in Florida. Neighborhood is walkable with lots of restaurants and shops. Beds were comfortable, location is quiet, house couldn’t have been cleaner.

Great stay!

The house is at the end of a quiet street, it feels like you don't have neighbors which was nice. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. Had everything we needed for our stay. There are restaurants and coffee shops near by. Safety Harbor is located in the middle of everything. We very much enjoy our stay and the location. Would stay here again!

Safety Harbor Visit

The house was very lovely. Property owner gave very good detailed instructions for check-in and was available for any questions. If you want to be close to the beach this place is a 30 minute drive to one. I would recommend this location.

Paradise in Safety Harbor

This is a beautiful property with serene surroundings and is very quiet. So many special touches in the house such as a coffee and tea bar, bottle of wine with snacks left, etc. Super comfortable beds. Owners are over the top nice. Great communication.

Excellent Vacation Spot

This home was amazing. There were so many small details that just made our stay one to remember. The owners reached out immediately to ensure that we had no problems checking in and were available if we needed. The home provided privacy and seclusion. The home is within walking distance to downtown Safety Harbor which had amazing food. It was an amazing vacation..Thank you for sharing your home with us! Brent, Jennifer, Brady, and Grayson

Relaxing get away

"Highly recommend this amazing home! It was spotless, well stocked, goodie’s for the guests and a hand written welcome note that made us feel right at home! The fenced in porch and backyard was fabulous, our fur-sons definitely gave their approval. The home was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beds were extremely comfortable. Excellent communication from the host. Clear and easy check in and check out information. We will definitely be back!

We are your fun-loving hosts!

I grew up on a farm in Nashville TN. Raising horses, and goats, and going to fairs to show our Shorthorn cattle have occupied my earlier years. I am currently managing IT in a software company that has an office in the Tampa Bay Area. When I am not pounding on the keyboard, I involve myself in renovating houses, gardening, cooking, and entertaining friends and family.

My wife Ellen was born in China, a true city girl, her interests are more in art & Electrical Engineering. She came to the states to research high-voltage transmission, but I really think she came here to find me and my secret BBQ recipes ☺

We love to travel together and have been to Beijing, Hong Kong, London, Vancouver... Everywhere we go, we try to stay away from hotels, staying with locals is way more fun.

Ellen and I completely fell in love with Safety Harbor on our first visit. Safety Harbor is one of the most charming southern cities, It offers amazing natural beauty as well as superb restaurants, and cultural experiences. Best of all, the locals are the most friendly people we have ever met.

We have since bought and renovated 4 vacation homes in Safety Harbor. Casa la Cala is the biggest one!

Casa la Cala is next door to Casa Artista, another of our four highly rated and slightly smaller vacation homes. Our guests love the fact that they can invite friends and families to join their vacation right next door to each other.

All bedrooms in Casa la Cala come with beautiful views, bamboo mattress toppers, and luxury bed linens. Many guests ask us for the source of the beds after their best sleeping experience!

Two huge HDTV in the living area, and 1 HDTV in each bedroom. You will have over 200 real cable channels to Indulge in. Super-fast internet Wi-Fi is available throughout!
Casa la Cala is designed for a family fun time. Fully equipped kitchen fit for any gourmet cooking. We also have a Weber charcoal kettle grill for outdoor cooking.

The house is named “Casa la Cala” due to its Natural Inspiration including a peaceful creek and small lake, majestic live oak trees, all in your private yard.

Amazing local restaurants, pubs, and shops. Marina Park, which includes the Marina Pier, and the Tampa Bay waterfront are just a relaxing short stroll from your front door!

A walk/run/bike paradise - Marina Park also features a pedestrian and bike trail which provides an elevated path among the mangrove trees as you head north toward Philippe Park. Heading south on the path you will enjoy a beautiful view of Tampa Bay as it extends all the way to the Courtney Campbell Causeway beach and trail which goes across the bay to Tampa. Did we mention Philippe Park? Don’t miss it! It is amazingly beautiful, also on the Tampa Bay waterfront.
