Traveled up for the Gauley River release and it was perfect location to the put in of the river. The property owners were awesome and the cabin had everything we needed. Will definitely be back.

Cozy cabin - nice escape!

We had a lovely stay at the cabin - A Frame of Mind. The place was clean and we loved the hot tub, grill and fire pit. My only recommendation would be to update the address to reflect Chalets on the Lake, as our GPS took us to the address listed and we got super lost. And potentially labeling the bin where all the pots and pans are stored - as we would have never looked there had we not asked. Overall - great stay!

A frame of mind

Our cabin was clean and comfortable. It had all of the needed necessities and was located close to many activities. The property is beautiful too. Would recommend and stay here again.

A Frame of Mind

The description says it sleeps six we had four people staying instead of five but too difficult for my husband and I had to climb the ladder. It was too difficult for my daughter to climb the ladder so my husband and I slept in the bedroom downstairs and my daughter slept on the Futon which wasn’t comfortable. All in all, it was cozy and that sliding glass door needs to be replaced very badly !

Birthday trip to Summerville

We loved this place and hope to be back in near future. It was Beautiful had everything we needed. It was a great trip . We are thankful that the owners allowed us to rent the Beautiful place close to every where you would want to go.

Birthday/Fish Trip

Had a great time! Very responsive to my questions. Booked last minute type situation but everything was was great! Hot tub was amazing, Heat was very nice. Four people is a great comfortable space. Grill was furnished with propane. Will be back for sure!

Anniversary getaway

Although it was a short stay we had a great weekend! It was relaxing and quiet. Not too far from the local restaurants. When communicating with the property manager, it was very fast responses to my questions. We are pleased overall with our stay and would definitely book with them again!

WV trip

My stay at "A Frame of Mind" was awesome! I met Michael and he was very helpful in answering my question. I would not hesitate to stay here again; the accommodations were more than satisfactory and the cabin was immaculate! Nice to find accommodations like this that accept pets. My 2 girl dogs loved it! Especially the nearby trails! Would love to come back in my break (3)31/2024).

Restful weekend

Our stay was ok however the chalet could use some TLC. Some of the cookware was in need of replacement. It was stored in a tote that was not super clean. No hot mats to be found for handling hot bakeware. Linens were clean and plenty of towels for the shower and hot tub which was nice. Hot tub became full of ucky floaters the first time we turned on the jets. Someone came soon after we reported it and strained most of it out.. The smell of sewer was very noticable when we were in the tub and around the fire pit which was not a great experience. Also we were unable to use the grill bc it was very rusted and had no gas. It was almost dark when we discovered it so we didn't report to the host. There was a nice little restaurant within 3-4 miles so we just put our steak back in the frig and went out for dinner. We enjoyed our time in spite of the things mentioned and rolled with the punches. If you don't have high expectations, the place was comfortable enough.

Beautiful!

Great little cabin nestled up a slight gravel/dirt road. Nice and quiet with still being a short drive to literally anything. Very clean and organized!

Spring Break

The A frame was perfect for our family of 4 and dogs. Communication was clear and quick. We received the firewood order really quickly and the local recommendations were fantastic! Highly recommend for families wanting to get away. We explored all of New River Gorge with ease.

Birthday Getaway

Such a great little find!! I was initially worried when we pulled up and saw we were in between two other cabins, would there be enough privacy? It was very quiet, everyone stayed to themselves. The position of the hot tub could use some more privacy, it was fine for us but if it was in the summer and the neighbors were out at the for pit we would have been on full display. With that being said, we spent a lot of time in there and really enjoyed it. The kitchen was well equipped. And there was plenty of space around the table, the stove and fridge were very clean. The beds could have used a mattress topper, they were really stiff and not to our liking, but we made due. And the front door leads into a bedroom, which for us wasn't a huge deal but I can see others being uncomfortable with that, especially if you are staying with friends. My one suggestion for the bathroom would be a shower caddy of some sort. There is nowhere to put your toiletries while showering except the floor and I personally don't like doing that. Overall, we had an amazing time, and will stay if we're are in the area again.

Lovely cabin in the woods.

We had a wonderful stay! Cabin was in a great location as we went to New river gorge National Park. We enjoyed the hot tub and enjoyed having our dog stay with us!
