Esta hermosa 3 dormitorios / 2. 5 baño casa se encuentra en la ladera de la montaña con vistas a Ojochal, con impresionantes vistas de la desembocadura del río y el océano Pacífico.

"Estilo de Vida" ("El estilo de vida") está disponible para corto plazo y el alquiler a largo plazo.

La propiedad cuenta con una piscina privada con total privacidad debido a la naturaleza aislada de la propiedad. La temperatura de la piscina es un maravilloso 86 grados todo el año. Situado a una altitud de 700 pies sobre el nivel del mar de la propiedad evita el problema de los mosquitos molestos. Ver los monos aulladores en los árboles y colibríes y tucanes derecho de la cubierta de la piscina. Disfrutar de una visita todos los días de nuestra residente Coati!

La propiedad de 12 acres incluye un sendero natural privada que conduce a un arroyo y luego en el principal río que atraviesa la propiedad. Disfrute de un baño en el río y luego regresar a la casa manchado monos y mariposas Morpho azul en el camino.

Cada habitación tiene un walk-in closet y aire acondicionado. Los acondicionadores de aire utilizan la última tecnología Inverter, que hace que la unidad para reducir la velocidad, ya que se acerca a la temperatura establecida. Esto se traduce en un funcionamiento muy silencioso (sin condensador de patadas y salir) y como se está ejecutando constantemente da lugar a niveles de humedad muy bajos (35 a 40%), que te hace sentir más fresco. Internet inalámbrico de alta velocidad está disponible en toda la casa.

La casa cuenta con un sistema de seguridad monitoreado de forma remota que puede activar cuando se sale de la casa todos los días.

Check in was easy and efficient. Property is beautiful with lots of wildlife, frogs, toucans, lizards and butterflies. Could use some updates to make the house more comfortable, i.e. mattress in master bedroom, couch cushions and pool/patio furniture.

Paradise

The place was great! We enjoyed all the wildlife. The house was clean and had everything we needed. A 4x4 is recommended unless you enjoy a walk up a steep driveway, which we did. Would recommend this piece of paradise to anyone looking to get off of he beaten track

The property was wonderful. It was too wet to hike, but view was great. You definitely need a 4WD and arrive during the day as suggested.

Dream Christmas Getaway

We took our family to Costa Rica for Christmas and selected this house for our base of operations. Michael and Massi were very communicative and patient with all of our questions. The house suited us perfectly and was everything we were looking for and more. Definitely recommend to anyone thinking about staying here.

Wonderful holiday in a beautiful place

We arrived at Michael's house in the dark after a delayed journey.. it was amazing to wake up the next day to the beautiful view of the ocean in the distance. We saw toucans, howler monkeys, coatis, agoutis, parrots, poison arrow frogs and lots of beautiful butterflies

We enjoyed our stay! What a unique, spacious, and fun place. We enjoyed the pool, the views, the toucans, and other wild life. We hiked down to the creek--very steep. It was also a perfect place to be close to the boat excurions in Uvita. We enjoyed the food left for us!

Gorgeous Seclusion

What a great house! The view is phenomenal, and you can't beat the privacy. The wildlife is wonderful, the water is HOT, and the AC is cold. We were a little bummed to realize the jacuzzi isn't heated, but there's a giant bathtub in the master bathroom right by a window that was just as enjoyable, so no worries! The kitchen is large and usable, and the grill was a nice touch. We had a wonderful stay, and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a good time in Costa Rica.

Great place for anyone!

Great layout for family and/or friends. Manager was helpful and quick to respond. We loved having our own pool to relax or play in after checking out the local beaches and waterfalls. And wildlife on site:). The house is close to so many things to do or amenities such as restaurants and grocery stores. Uvita has what you need. Dominical is a short drive away for that surf town vibe and great food!

Piece of paradise

Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. The house was just perfect! Beautiful view, perfect elevation up the mountain. Kitchen well stocked for cooking, everything provided for our stay. Very thoughtful to have a beautiful welcome basket full of goodies and beer in the fridge! Paradise!

We couldn’t have asked for a better home for a relaxed, animal filled vacation! We especially loved the two coatimundis that visited every day and the toucans! The only consideration is I wouldn’t recommend this for a family with a crawler. The bats, while absolutely adorable do make quite a mess.

Enjoyed the pool, hiking trails, birds/animals and views

Nice sized pool. Beautiful views. Saw howler monkeys, toucans, morpho butterflies, and frogs. Enjoyed the hiking trails. Many wonderful restaurants within a short drive. We couldn't get wifi to stay connected, but luckily we had a hotspot we were able to use for part of our stay. Living area was quite warm during the day, but we spent most of our time elsewhere. Overall, we enjoyed the property and were happy with it.

Costa Rican Paradise

It's had to put in words the amount of joy and relexation we had st Esitlo deVida. We had our own tropical animal show in the back yard, from 6 Toucans landing in a tree, to a 45 minute monkey show, scarlett macaws and a Coati family. The pool was enjoyed from dawn to bedtime and the views are unphatomenal. Massi the property manager was unreal and responded immediately. Uvita Information Center was a pleasure.

In the forest, great pool, toucans everywhere

A perfect stay for wildlife and nature enthusiasts. There were dart frogs milling about, toucans everywhere, coatis, and agoutis. The trails were great, but driving the road beyond the house is how we saw even more wildlife. The pool was perfect for a morning/early afternoon dip. Just remember, it really is nestled into the forest, so a few leaves may fall in the pool, or a few cool insects may visit the house, but the gekos take care of them mostly! The house was very clean when we arrived, and everything we needed to cook our meals was there!

Beautiful home with a great view and interesting wildlife.

We loved the place! We had excellent communication from both the owner and the property manager beforehand. The instructions were very clear and understandable. The watermelon and pineapple that were provided were delicious too! The pool was our favorite part of the home and a great way to cool off before bed. The beds were comfortable, the AC in the bedrooms did a great job, and the bathrooms were very nicely appointed. The Coati was by every morning to say hello and we saw a Toucan. The leaf cutter ants in the backyard were fascinating as well. We didn’t spend much time at the house as we had (too) many activities scheduled and were not able to explore the property as we wished. The entry road past the gate did require 4 wheel drive if you stop to lock the gate behind yourself. With momentum, a 2 wheel drive will likely make it up the road just fine. Our only minor complaint is that we found the concrete and cushion couch in the living room very uncomfortable. But that was an only an issue the one night we were home early.

Welcome to The Jungle With a View

What a great stay for 10 nights. Everything we expected and more. Spotting of Toucan's the Blue Morpho Butterfly, and other birds and animals all while enjoying first cup of Costa Rican coffee on the patio. Always up early when the Howler Monkey alarm went off at 5:30 am on 3 sides every morning....totally awesome. Home was well equipped with everything we needed. Loved the electric griddle at patio bar for breakfast. Worked great for making pancake for the daily visit from the Kodi. Great place away from it all but close to great attractions.

Wonderful

Everything was exactly as pictured. Daily coati and toucan visits, and the howler monkeys will have you up at 5am every morning so you'll never miss a sunrise. 😂 The view from the back porch was beautiful and the monkey and sloth trails were a tough workout for a pair of seniors. This was our fourth stay in this area and highly recommend a four-wheel drive vehicle for the road and especially for the driveway to this villa. We had a wonderful 12 days here and thank you Massi for all your help during our stay. I highly recommend visiting Sonia at the Uvita Information Center to help with scheduling your excursions. She is wonderful! Michael, your home was beautiful and thank you for sharing it with us.

Beautiful location with great view

We spent three nights here and as the instructions say, a 4x4 is recommended to get to the property. However, it wasn't an issue to get around, even in the rain, if you had a vehicle that could go to "sport" mode. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The property management staff was responsive. We really enjoyed having a welcome basket and the kitchen stocked with some essentials. There was even laundry detergent and a dryer! We saw toucans, had visits from the coati, heard the howling monkeys and loved the sunrises and sunsets. The pool had some issues but they were incredibly responsive in fixing it - even during the rain! We appreciated the recommendations to the Uvita tourist center - all excursions were wonderful. We even saw whales, a baby and a mom! Thanks for a great stay!

Fabulous Ocean View Jungle House

We got to the house late in the evening, after grocery markets were closed. The property manager, for a small fee, was kind enough to get basic groceries so we could have them the next morning. Huge help. Close to beaches and everything you would need. The pool was fantastic. Can't say enough about the wonderful ocean view. Wildlife was abundant: macaws, toucans, green parrots, dart frogs, howlers,white faced monkeys and bats. It was really nice to have a washer and dryer. The security system is an added bonus. Easy to use. The bedrooms/bathrooms were nice. Some areas need a little updating, but for the nightly price, it's quite the bargain. The property really grew on us. We would definitely go back!

We purchased Estilo de Vida in 2006. We have two sons who love going to the Costa Rica house. We tend to go in the rainy season each year or sometimes every two years.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We love the remote jungle setting. In the picture my sons explore Playa Tortuga near the house. The property itself is amazing as the lot is 12 acres in size which allows you to completely relax in privacy. We like getting up early in the morning walking the nature trail to the river and back.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Beautiful view of the Pacific Coast. Watch White-faced and Howler Monkeys, Toucans, Humming Birds, Wood Peckers, Sloths and other animals and birds in the jungle around the property, and watch them right from the comfort of the pool deck. We have a resident Coati who visits the house every day to see what is going on at Estilo de Vida.
