Amplia casa frente al mar, perfecta para pequeñas reuniones familiares, con una gran terraza principal además de una terraza fuera de cada habitación. La casa tiene capacidad para 10 personas y se encuentra junto a una playa de arena blanca. La cocina está equipada con horno microondas y lavavajillas. Hale Ohana también viene con DVD por cable, estéreo y acceso a Internet de alta velocidad. Las áreas de comedor y sala de estar tienen una vista panorámica espectacular del Océano Pacífico que permite horas de observación de ballenas y tortugas marinas. A partir de octubre de 2019, nos complace anunciar que 4 habitaciones ahora tienen aire acondicionado. No hay aire acondicionado disponible en el loft del quinto dormitorio o en las áreas de cocina / sala de estar. La ropa de cama Hale Ohana es 1 Rey, 3 Reinas y 2 gemelas.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent two gorgeous weeks in the Hale Ohana, with friends from the UK, Oregon and Washington. Everyone had a wonderful time! The house is gorgeous, the amenities are wonderful and everyone was so impressed and awestruck!The only issue, is that the upstairs loft bedroom is horrendously HOT - even with the fans and a cross breeze from the windows. Other than that, a fantastic time was had by all.

We have used several different properties over the years and this house was by far the best. We had a 5 and 6 year old and did not want the stress of a pool. Baby Beach was the perfect alternative… . By far though was the house itself. The layout with every room with porch access and the view! Can’t really stress how beautiful the lush green yard that framed this gorgeous home. You could find details that were less then perfect but it didn’t matter because the main reason grandparents, parents, children go to Hawaii is for the tranquility, the scenery, the walks to the coffee and stores 3 blocks away… beyond perfect.

Perfect for our family of six. Two couples in master bedrooms and two teenage girls each had their own rooms. We had a spare loft bedroom for friends that came over from another island for a couple nights. The large veranda with sweeping views is so wonderful. And the wide stairway goes down to a beautiful lawn and entrance to Baby Beach. Garden Island Rental was great to work with, responsive and very friendly! Overall, just a fabulous experience in every way!!

We had a delightful stay at this property. Everything was as pictured and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. One note, it’s actually four bedrooms and a loft upstairs. It’s a very large space but doesn’t have a door. We love this home and hope to return!

Complete waste of money and time and energy

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Complete waste of money and time and energy rented this location way in advance as I was renewing my vows and it was my 55th birthday I've rented properties on VRBO since they were open. Upon arrival everything seemed okay Monday morning first thing the only two properties on the beach where the one that I rented and the one they decided to start construction on they began demolitioning the back patio which was about 50 ft from the master bedroom so we were awaken mornings throughout the day with saws and motorized equipment and hammering which sounded like they were in the room with me. Upon complaining to the rental agency they stated it was their property and they could stop it and will do their best. Going to maintenance guy arrived at the door telling me that I needed to work out a schedule with him in order for them to work because the owners were returning and they wanted to have some work done for their return. I explained I paid $17,000 for 7 days and I didn't care what the owners wanted I need it quiet. the work continued I complained again to the rental office and next to manager came back to me stating that they needed to get the work done apparently for some fall that somebody had and he made up a long story that totally contradicted what the maintenance guy had said. They continue to work I pleaded with them to stop they did not I contacted VRBO with a complaint did not hear back. We were forced to check out and stay at the Hyatt and they were gracious enough to allow us to find another place to stay at the last minute on an island that has nothing available and they would refund two nights for us. After about 4 hours of searching we found a place to stay for the next 3 days and we moved out and went to the new location and they agreed to send us $4,000 refund out of the 17,000. The energy I expended in the middle of the trip the stress it created and the fact that vrbo allowed this place to rent us a property that clearly had construct

Best Property on Kauai

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dream house on the beach front perfect for familiesIf we stayed at the Hyatt with Ocean View Rooms it would have cost us 50% more. This house, Hale Ohana, was perfect for my entire family of 9! The gardener told us this is the best rental property on Kauai! Beach front with a huge grass lawn between our lanai and the ocean. Steps from Baby Beach where we saw turtles on the sand several afternoons and even a rare Monk Seal! The bedrooms were perfect! The kitchen was well equipped and spotless! The House had TVs where you would want them although you will most likely not be watching! We enjoyed our meals on the lanai daily at sunset with food from many great restaurants in Koloa to bring in from! (Bubba Burgers a must and Leong’s) Croquet and Bochi Ball on the lawn with the grandkids was magical, as was throwing the frisbee! We were in awe of this property, its location and incredible sunset views every night! And a nightly view of the Spouting Horn blowhole in the distance! We walked to the Beach House for dinner. Less than 10 minutes. The weather was perfect with an occasional passing shower that would result in rainbows almost every day. On my birthday me and the grandkids were playing on the lawn on my birthday morning when the most o incredible double rainbow came out and said “Happy Birthday, Grandpa, you picked the perfect place!”

Amazing stay!

We had seen the pictures, but actually BEING right on the beach was spectacular. Evenings on the wide lanai were so pleasant. The house met all our expectations with the exception of AC in the living areas. But we weee grateful for the AC in each downstairs bedroom. One couple came home after dinner the final night to the smell of gasoline all around the vehicle. A stick or something had punctured the gas tank. The next morning they had to deal with rescheduling their flight home and arranging for a car. Management was gracious and allowed them to remain at the house well after checkout time. We experienced the true meaning of Aloha.

This home has every feature that a family could possibly want or need to make their vacation the absolute best. every bedroom has its own bathroom and its own lanai. The family lanai overlooks the ocean and is a great place for the family to enjoy meals and just lounging around. The beach is great for kids, The kitchen has everything that a kitchen should have to prepare all of your meals. There is also an outside barbeque. This is the second time our family has spent our vacation in this wonderful home. If you decide to rent this home, take some time to find 0out about the over 100 year history of the family that ows the property.

I want to give it five stars but....

The location of our rental could not have been more perfect! The view was incredible and the small beach out front was an absolute joy (and the sea turtle that visited every day)! Our morning walk to Living Foods coffee was a treat too. The rental had everything we needed as far as space and conveniences. A couple of issues arose while staying and were very quickly addressed by Garden Island staff. Some feedback would be that the house needs a deep cleaning (carpets, fans and cupboards) and a bit of updating. Parts of the house are "run down" from use...like some of the furniture and kitchen. I feel like the cleaning crew is likely moving through the house at warp speed to prepare for the next tenant....the amount of dirt on the broken fan blade in the twin room was plentiful (guessing the rest of the fans are similar), in the master there was a walking stick and what appeared to be used tissues behind the dresser and the final nights sleep was with a giant cockroach in our bed (we realize cockroaches are a thing in Hawaii...but crawling on you while you sleep was a bummer). Anyway, I feel like these are things that could be easily addressed if given attention and I am sure the lovely staff at Garden Islands Rentals will do just that. With a little attention given to the home this would easily be a five star experience!

The home accommodated us well but I must say that the middle bedroom going down the hallway had VERY POOR lighting. After sundown with the lights on, you still needed a flashlight.Also, one of the lamps in the living room had a wobbly (*broken) shade support. As we understand the cabinets will be upgraded on our return in 2024.

We have stayed at this house for 4 years now. Location, house and deck are wonderful. It is very clean and the kitchen has everything you will need. The problem we had this time was with Garden Island Rental Company. I never received the directions and house code to get in the house. On Friday, still not having received anything, I sent an email asking for the house code. Saturday AM I still had not heard anything. I called 2 times and sent 2-3 emails. I still never heard anything back. We arrived with a crying 3 year old who needed a nap but could not enter the house. After waiting awhile we started to look for other places to stay for the night- there were 8 and we were not happy looking for other places. At this point my friend remembered she had an email from last year. We tried the code and it worked. I never heard anything back from anyone until Monday morning. There was no mention of us having a hard time getting in, no explanation that we did not receive directions and NO mention of why there was no one from Friday - Sunday to answer my calls/emails. What happens in case of emergency. I will say that we all were very frustrated by this experience. It is hard to believe that there is a rental company without emergency contact for off hours. I have been home for 2 weeks now and have still not heard anything from company....

The house was also clean and well stocked with essentials. Every bedroom had access to the wonderful covered porch that wrapped around 3/4ths of the house. We also loved having our own little beach so close to the house. All in all, we can’t recommend this house enough.

The houses are immaculate, bright and cheery, they sit right on the beach so the kids (and Grandkids) can just roll out of bed and into the water (pretty much!). The management company has kept the houses fantastically and the cleaners do an excellent job! Hands down the ONLY place we will stay when we come to beautiful Kauai !!

Loved this property and we look forward to coming back. The view from the lanai is second to none.

We did not want to leave this property for day trips. Snorkeling and access to Baby Beach was wonderful for all ages.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off, the cleaning was the best I've seen since Covid! I can even tell they sanitized the refrigerator and when we were vacating, they were carrying in replacement pillows! The AC in the bedrooms definitely made our stay comfortable but all our time was spent on the lanai soaking in the scenery. The sunsets were fabulous. We even had a view of the spouting horn! I also loved being on the beach so we could access at our leisure. Garden Island was quick to respond and checked on us throughout our stay. Definitely customer friendly and would book with them in the future.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful & enjoyable property. But considering the rent we paid there were several maintenance & management problems. 1. Some switch plates & plug covers were cracked & broken. 2. Stairs were dusty/dirty on arrival 3. Non working plug in bedroom next to great room 4. Limited beach chairs for # of people house holds (party of 10, 3 chairs) 5. No working umbrellas. 6. No access to garage since rekeyed so no coolers & other beach equip we had in previous stays & was advertised on the web site 7. Upstairs shade broken so won’t crank up or down. 8. Changed door key system from key lock to electronic pad but failed to notify us before arrival so had to call management & wait for callback to get into house.Printed info to get in wasn’t updated 9. Plants surrounding lani are way overgrown & block much of ocean view except narrow part in center
