Zan's Retreat es un excelente lugar para alojarse si le gustan los deportes de verano e invierno en la montaña. Esta hermosa casa es de dos pisos con 4 habitaciones, 2. 5 baños, un hermoso spa y a poca distancia de Snow Summit. WI-FI GRATIS. La cocina tiene todo lo que necesita, incluyendo microondas y cocina a gas / parrilla. Hay una mesa de comedor informal para 6 personas. El área de la sala de estar conectada tiene una gran chimenea de leña, TV de pantalla plana montada en alta con internet inalámbrico de alta velocidad. El dormitorio principal es espacioso con una cama king size, baño completo personal, un televisor de pantalla plana y tiene acceso a un pequeño balcón. El segundo dormitorio tiene una cama queen size. Los dormitorios tres y cuatro tienen camas dobles. La propiedad tiene muchas camas extra de espuma de memoria extraíbles. Esta propiedad se encuentra en un gran terreno arbolado. Disfrute del patio y la barbacoa de propano para asar al aire libre y el mini parque infantil.
Es un paseo fácil a las pistas de la Cumbre, ideal para ciclismo de montaña y senderismo en verano, snowboard y esquí en invierno. Está a solo minutos del lago, el pueblo, restaurantes y tiendas. Hay un amplio estacionamiento nivelado para 4 autos. ¡Este es un excelente precio para una excelente casa y ubicación!

Great location! Decent home

If location to Snow Summit is important doesn't get much better than this. The home was clean and spacious but in the details it shows that it has been a rental property for a while. (a bit beat up) The home occupancy is for 10 which we had. They were short on linens and towel's, luckily we travel with extra blankets for the kids. Also, an obvious rodent problem in the garage. We left some ski bags in the garage overnight and they had poop on them in the morning. Overall decent but Big Bear is getting a bit too pricey.

Disappointing given price point - Location is a plus.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was worn and not well maintained. Later figured out house is for sale, so seems owners are done with property and it shows.

Nice home, excellent location

The home was very nice with a remodeled downstairs, but the upstairs was a little dated. The property managers are very nice and super responsive. The backyard was great for the kids, and we really enjoyed our time.

Thanksgiving 2020

Once you arrive you honestly feel at home. Huge front yard. backyard was super safe for kids and dogs. Playground was great, jacuzzi was great! Rooms are a bit out dated for what you pay ex: bedrooms doors and closet doors and showers. Most of time was consumed in the main living room. Second living room was left for the kids and they had a blast. Websites says It accommodates 10 to sleep and it does but it only had 5 chairs to sit at in the kitchen to eat. The only bedroom that has tv is masters. Couches were very stained so we just covered them up with blankets we brought. Aside from that it was a great time. Definitely recommend for a relaxing weekend.

Nice older home with great space.

We were impressed with the space of this property. The description on VRBO is just a bit skewed though and could use an accurate update. There are four bedrooms: a master with king bed and full bathroom, another bedroom with queen bed, another bedroom with double/full bed and a fourth bedroom with two single beds. There is another large full bathroom for these upstairs bedrooms to share. The living room is large and handled our large family gathering, playing games on the coffee table. There is what I would call a game room off the living room with three "pull out" beds. There is a half bathroom in this "game room". There is a full bathroom off the kitchen. Kitchen is nicely equipped. There are a couple of suggestions directed towards the owner. Screens on the downstairs windows would enable us to open all windows to allow the great breezes to come in (and no bugs). Upstairs windows had screens. Perhaps they are removed for winter and just not put on yet? Not sure. The decks were a bit dirty covered in pine pollen, so we washed them off. We felt badly walking through the pollen and tracking into the house. It looked like the back porch had been swept, but not well, but not the front. We had to wash down the outside table to use it. The hot tub was nice to use after a day of hiking. The kids LOVED the backyard playground and kept wanting to return back to the house so they could play. An overall enjoyable stay.

Overall, a great property! Would definitely stay here again!

The house location is excellent. Perfect for young children. Rooms were good, kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans, and for the most part the house was wonderful. The spin Cycle on the washer did not work which is grossly inconvenient because we packed based on the fact that there was a washer and dryer. The gas line to the fire pit in the front yard to make s’more’s was not working properly with a propane and a few little updates (like real drawers in the master), few more towels, and misc things here and there would make this property phenomenal. Provided the washer gets fixed I would 💯 percent stay here again! The kids were in heaven. Perfect for family vacations!

It’s a 5 minute walk to Snow Summit. The kids loved the play structure in the backyard and the house has lots of bathrooms. Will definitely rent this place again if I can.

The stay was perfect. We had 8 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of room. Rooms were all a good size and lots of bathrooms. Easy back to and from snow summit.

Great location and very good set up for family. House has everything you need the only downfall would be maybe a few more blankets if you are running cold in the evening and not too fond of the heater you may want to bring a few blankets to keep you nice and warm

Nice cabin! Good for large family

Was a very nice and well equipped cabin for 8 of us! We had an extra room that we didn’t use. Very clean place and nicely updated kitchen. The kids loved the play equipment and having their own area for toys and TV. The Jacuzzi was nice for the adults and was clean. The master bed was a little on the hard side but every other bed was good. Loved the extra pull out bed in the ottoman in the kids room. They all got to sleep together. Would recommend this place for 10 people for sure and would stay again if we go to big bear again. Thank you for offering such a nice place to stay.

Excellent location

We had a great stay. The house is clean and totally functional. The spa was clean and lovely after a day of skiing. We could walk to Snow Summit and restaurants and grocery stores were close and convenient. The only hiccup we had is that there is only adequate bedding for 8 people. There are three neat little fold up twin bed/ottomans that were comfortable but only had sheets. No blankets. Each of the beds, which sleep 8 total, had a single blanket. We had to go buy two blankets to keep the kids comfortable. Listing said it sleeps 10, so it should have appropriate bedding for 10. So, bring a few extra blankets if you have more than 8 people. Communication with property management was quick and accommodating.

Amazing experience from start to finish!

The entire experience was amazing! From check-in to check-out it was A+ Service!!! The property was clean and ready for us! Everything was in working condition and basic amenities were provided (towels, etc), which made our stay that much more relaxing and enjoyable!
