Perfect location and space for our vacation! We enjoyed walking to coffee, breweries, dinners, groceries and the beach daily. Easy access to everything by foot. We would 100% stay here again and hope to be back soon!

Perfect location

Unit is well stocked, new appliances throughout. Only drawback is that you are on the bottom floor and most people don't consider the people underneath, several days of banging and crashing from the unit above

Lovely unit tucked away, private with partial views

Super location in Wailea, nice and quiet, still close to amenities, can walk to some coffee shops and restaurants. Short drive to the beautiful Wailea beaches. Unit is well stocked.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was very well taken care of, and the staff was friendly. The condo had all the amenities you need for the kitchen. The unit is right by the pool which was great for the kids. We had a few issues with the condo that were immediately fixed with the garburator leaking. Far walk to the beach but a great spot to get around the island. 5-minute walk to coffee and 10-minute walk to the local shops.Overall a good experience, if we were to stay again we would like to be closer to the beach.

Wonderful stay

Great condo with fantastic location and views. The space was very clean and had everything one would need (beach chairs, ample kitchen accessories, beach towels, etc.). I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

A beautiful property that needs a bit of maintenance.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely condo in a beautiful complex with a partial ocean view. It’s very close to the pool, which is well maintained. The unit has most of the essentials. The bed is comfortable. Kitchen items are a bit of picked over mix. Beach chairs are available, but no umbrella. However, there are some significant plumbing issues that need to be fully looked in to. In our first week, the toilets and shower backed up. This happened to close by units as well. While potentially not the fault of the owner, there was NO number to call to report the issue which happened in the early evening. Ultimately it was the guests in the other unit that were able to resolve the issue. On our last night of our 3 week stay, the kitchen sink backed up. For the above reasons, we would not stay at this unit again.

A great unit close to everything we wanted

We had a very positive stay. It's one of the most spacious one bedroom units I've every stayed in. It's close to the pool which never really got crowded. Everything was clean and bed was comfortable. The air conditioner and fans made it easy to sleep at night. You can walk to the Shops at Wailea where they have a good but expensive grocery store, retail and several restaurants. We drove but if you walk a little bit further you have access to a few beaches. One tip, Google maps led us to the wrong set of buildings in the complex but Apple Maps led us to where we needed to be. Check in and communication was great and there was even a gift basket waiting for us in the room. Highly recommended this place.

Comfortable and Convenient in Wailea

Very comfortable space in a great location. Close to pool,. Furnishings are a bit worn (especially kitchen) and could use a refresh, but bed and baths are well appointed and comfortable. Had a great time!

A Perfect Month in Wailea

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a wonderful month at Ekolu 1403 mid-Oct/Nov and loved our stay. The unit is as described and viewed in photos. During a long stay we utilized the kitchen frequently for meal preparation and found it to be well equipped with quality Calphalon cookware, KitchenAid utensils, etc. DeLonghi insulated glassware worked well for keeping wine and drinks cool in the hot weather. Bath and beach towels also of good quality and condition. The living room features a 70" flat screen TV which we enjoyed. The bedroom is spacious, furnished with a comfortable king size bed, chest of drawers, large closet with lots of hangars and 2nd TV.Although the unit is located on the ground floor, there is a nice view of the ocean from the lanai and surrounding gardens are lovely. We are pool people and especially enjoyed the close proximity. The swimming pool is to our mind perfect! Warm, large enough to swim laps and accommodate a good number of people though we had it privately on many days because people go to the beach or take in activities! A general feature of the Ekolu villas is the beautifully maintained gardens and security on property at night. We would definitely return and recommend Unit 1403 to others. Thank you!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a pleasant stay, and appreciated the beach chairs and the lanai, and the proximity to green spaces, restaurants and shopping. But we felt the apartment could have had better upkeep. We thought you would appreciate knowing about some of the things that need attention. For example the screen door to the patio does not slide, and is stuck in the open position and the washing machine smelled musty and the gasket is moldy. We ran it empty with detergent to clean it but it didn’t help. Strangely, the toaster burnt the bread at setting "1". In general the place needed thorough cleaning. The living room tile floor, outside table, toilets and showers were quite dirty (we cleaned them).
