Great place for a family vacation!

My husband and I had a great visit with our two kids during Spring Break. Beds were comfortable, kitchen stocked with all of the necessary supplies and the view from the balcony was great!There was a small issue with the water being turned off in the unit when we arrived and again the night before we checked out but the building maintenance crew was very responsive and got the issue resolved quickly both times.

Great location in quiet part of town

Property is great. Kids loved ocean and beach. Unit is well furnished and very comfortable. In the “quiet” part of Destin so traffic isn’t bad. Highly recommend.

Family Vacation 2021

This was a great place to stay. It was basically two families and then our dad. We really enjoyed the balcony and having the gulf view. We would definitely recommend this place and we would stay here again. The pictures posted online are accurate.

Spacious

We loved how spacious the condo was. The extra bed in one of the rooms and the sofa sleeper in the little nook by the kitchen was a plus! It’s in the perfect location. Close to grocery stores and restaurants.

Great Property as Advertised

The property was clean and well maintained. Perfect for a beach get away. 4 of us stayed for 4 nights and had a great time. Balcony is fantastic for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. Pool and hot tub were great when we had a little cool weather and beach was fantastic. Condo was quiet and convenient by car to bars and restaurants

Holiday Isle is a great section of Destin!

Our condo was beautifully decorated and very up to date. We enjoyed using the jacuzzi next to the pool, and saw many people using the tennis courts, bar b q’s, and shuffle board facilities. This condo was great for its central location in Destin, and a Target and Winn Dixie were just a mile away, so it was easy to run out and pickup sunscreen and groceries! We also ate out at Mimmo’s, a fantastic Italian restaurant nearby. I highly recommend it!!

Great location

Condo was a great location. Great views and layout of house was nice. Only complaint would be the cleanliness. Trundle bed in bedroom was dirty when we pulled it out- Also, would’ve been nice to have pool/beach towels available. Overall nice place to stay

Couldn't be Happier!

The pictures are accurate to what the property looked like. This was our first time there and wouldn't have chosen another place to stay. There were a couple things that were an issue (the fridge pictured not working and the handle broke on the sliding door), but overall the place had a gorgeous view of the water, fit everyone perfectly, had everything we needed to cook, and had enough space to where no one was sitting on top of each other. Having access to the washer and dryer was a plus as well especially with having children and needing to wash swim suits and towels to last the time there. We will definitely be staying there again!!

Location super

Lots of potential but.... Place needed lots better cleaning. Shower had lots of mold and floor throughout condo could hide dirt that was quite nasty. Property had pool closed for 5 days and pickle ball courts closed the entire month of our stay. But these things could be easily fixed. The place has lots of potential.

Overall Great!

We booked short notice for Spring Break. The condo was located in a great location, kinda off the really busy Destin strip, and right on Gulf. The building was gated, clean, lots of parking, and amenities. The pool was heated and very clean. Private beach access was amazing. The check in process was easy accept the security guard wasn’t at the gate when we arrived (he was walking property) and we were not provided the gate code, so we had to move over and call maintenance to get the code. The condo was spacious for two families of four. Overall clean upon arrival except the floors, you could not walk barefoot without dirty feet after, definitely needs a more thorough mop. It’s an older condo and needs a few repairs. We did have to contact maintenance once, but they answer any time of day and helpful!

Location, Location, Location & Spacious for 2 Families

Overall content. Close to everything, which is nice when you're needing to travel to/from the boardwalk for activities. Older building. Spacious, 5th floor unit. Need extra linens for pull out bed. Could use more cooking dishes like bowls, baking dishes and pots and pans and a knife sharpener. Responsive maintenance. Poor check-in process. Access codes were all wrong upon arrival, but dial for maintenance and you'll get someone on a Wednesday, at least. Neat amenities like a sauna, pool, small gym and hot tub. Lots of parking. Friendly security. Stink elevator from garage.

Overall the property was very nicely located, beach and pool were good. Condo was nice and big. Lots of sand on floor and in bed upon our arrival (sand is hard to clean up I understand). The showers were disappointing - Master shower had no cold water and only produced scalding hot water. Unusable. 2nd shower worked but bathtub very slowly drained and you were left standing in dirty water. Not what I normally get with a VRBO. Condo was nice, just needs some general maintenance.

Enjoy the beach

We are locals, I rented this as a treat for my family the last few days of spring break. The check in seemed painless enough, the guard at the gate was helpful and kind. The condo was sufficient, with exactly six towels for my family of six, broken furniture in the master closet and a hilarious dancing box fan. My dresser had tags from a previous renters clothing purchase in the top two drawers so I just left my clothes in my bag, or hung them. A cot with no mattress along with other household items take up the second bedroom closet, which has two beds, one with a trundle so worked perfectly for our three sons. The sofa sleeper is in the "breakfast nook" (aka laundry closet) off the kitchen and once unfolded becomes the entire floor, so finish those towels before whomever gets that bed crashes. The balcony is angled with a generous gulf view and the residents of the community were friendly and we shared several entertaining conversations in the elevator. At a total of just under a thousand dollars for two nights for my family of six, on the beach, with available amenities and secure parking I'm not mad, but I'm also not going to rent the same one again.

Great place and superb location.

Overall the experience was excellent. There were only two real deterrents to it being perfect. 1. The weather...can't do anything about the constant fog. 2. The TV and fridge weren't working upon arrival. Seems like something that should be verified before a new customer moves it. Caused some stress when dealing with groceries.
