Florida Log Cabin Lakefront

Cabaña junto al lago hermoso en alquiler. Está totalmente equipada con utensilios de cocina y ropa de cama. Sólo tiene que traer su ropa y alimentos. Está a sólo 40 pies de distancia de la orilla del agua de Bethea Lago, ubicado en el condado de Suwannee, Wellborn, Florida. Vida Silvestre como pavos salvajes, varias especies de patos y aves acuáticas, ciervos y mapaches son visitantes frecuentes.

Los cocodrilos y varias especies de peces como la lubina, pez sol, especificaciones, y el pez gato se encuentran en el lago. Es un lugar muy tranquilo y relajante para pasar una larga o corta vacaciones. Grande para los pescadores bajos, artistas y escritores. También un maravilloso refugio de invierno de la nieve. Snowbirds bienvenida.

Hay muchas actividades cerca. Lake City, que cuenta con tiendas y restaurantes, está a sólo 15 minutos de distancia. Aeropuertos (Jacksonville-1 1/2 horas, Gainesville-1 hora, Lago Ciudad- 30 min.) Colleges cercanos (Universidad de la Florida-1 hora, Santa Fe Community College-45 min, de Lake City Community College-30-35 min). Stephen Foster Memorial en el río Suwannee - 20 minutos. Varios muelles / ríos para el buceo / snorkel / natación / tubo - 30 minutos. St. Agustín es 1 1/2 horas. Costa del Golfo es de 1 hora. Suwannee River Music Park es de 20 minutos.

What a beautful place, from the start of seeing the cabin from the beginning of the long driveway. Everything you need is already here. Wood for the bonfire, kayaks and a canoe and fishing poles for the lake. Michael is such a gracious host. Hot tub was great after many hiking trails we conquered. I would recommend the Publix in Live Oak vs Lake City.Make sure to get up early to watch the eagles hunting!

The cabin was way better than anything we could have imagined. The host, Michael was very communicative before, during, and after our stay and worked with us to reschedule our trip. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable and the amenities were clean and working for the entirety of our stay. The view of the lake from the house was gorgeous! My husband caught a few bass and enjoyed fishing from dusk till dawn while I looked on from the a cozy seat by the firepit. We can’t wait to come back.

This was the perfect stay close to our daughter‘s home 13 minutes away. We visited for Thanksgiving and our parents were with us. It is a bit tight for four people but easily doable! Sitting outside in the morning, drinking our coffee and watching the sunrise was probably our favorite part. The host were very helpful with everything during our stay and stayed communication with us throughout our visit. When we are back in Lake City again and need a place to stay, we will definitely stay stay at the Do Duck Inn.

Beautiful, peaceful

Do Duck exceeded all expectations. It's secluded, private lake front, so peaceful. Sunrises are breathtaking. Mike, property owner was great. We were in the area for a softball tournament and it was a great escape after long days at the field. Highly recommend.

Perfect getaway!

Michael was an amazing host and the cabin is perfect. It’s so quiet and serene, you basically have the whole lake to yourself. The cabin was well-equipped with everything we needed. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Anniversary away from the crowds.

It was a perfect stay for a couple wanting peace and quiet. We were celebrating our anniversary so being away by ourselves was great.

Wonderful getaway

Everything about this cabin is perfect, the scenery, location, owner’a hospitality. I enjoyed every second spent there. Is the perfect place to relax away from the city and the same time is close to restaurants and essential needs. We will definitely come back!

Great getaway cabin

Michael was easy to communicate with and had the cabin all set up. It's a great spot to get away in the winter or summer. There's multiple things to do to unwind such as the hot tub, fire pit, and kayaks. It was a great weekend for us.

Amazing remote office view

Working out of town for a few weeks and did not want to be cooped up in a hotel room for that amount of time. What an amazing option this property was! Peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. The “office view” was incredible!

Above and beyond

This place was everthing i hoped for and more. It was quiet and peaceful and not another Soul around. clean and beautiful right down to the fresh flowers in the cabin. The owner went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. the surrounding nature with everything you could ask for. I can't wait to go again

Perfect get away

This property was just perfect for a peaceful getaway in the north Florida country. Host was great helping us get settled and left us to enjoy this awesome location in seclusion. We kayaked, fished, and slept well. It is a great escape for those tired of overdeveloped or big city congestion. A wonderful reminder of what is wonderful about Florida and the natural environment other counties are so quick to eliminate and develop. Just beautiful. Visited nearby springs and were amazed. This is close to I 75 and yet feels so rural and unspoiled. Would definitely stay her again!

everything was perfect the cabin was comfortable .and beautiful. michael was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay and was very nice. i would give him a 10 THat is what made it so nice. i would return.
