Amazing experience!

We absolutely loved staying here, the property is really nice and the room was clean and newly updated. It is really close to pier park and most restaurants. Will definitely stay here again!

May 2023 Visit

So........we get to property on check in day after check in time (not earlier) and they gave us the code for our room, didn't work, gave us another one, didn't work, come to find out they had put other guests in our room that were supposed to be in a completely different tower, took a few hours for this to be resolved but poor guy working check in desk was wonderful in helping us. Elevators in west tower sketchy at best. Rip in bed skirt, cracks in lampshades in living room, bathtub in private king bedroom needs to be replaced, bottom seal on front door needs replaced and never could get sliding door in living room to lock, had to ask about all the included freebies that information was not freely given. Now with all the negatives out of the way, room exactly like pics, view beautiful, walking distance to shopping and restaurants, beach chair team wonderful and went above and beyond, several beach items located in closet of laundry room.

Great place to stay in Panama City

This was a great property! Clean, beds were really comfortable and wasn't overly crowded. Beautiful views. Great location as well. You are very close to Pier Park with has lots of shopping and restaurants. You could walk there from the condo. I would definitely stay here again. Check in was super easy and the staff was extremally nice! We have had problems in the past at other locations with waiting forever for elevators and this place has tons and never took forever to stop. Only down side I would say is they recently added a tower 3 and they have a beautiful pool and cabanas. Unless you stay in tower 3 you cannot access that pool.

Great Place to Stay in Panama

This is a beautiful unit in a great location! The property managers (Panhandle) were fantastic and located right on site so check in was a breeze. Having experience with the elevators at this property, I was thrilled to find this 6th floor unit!!! The furniture was comfortable, including the beds. The bunk room is a little tight and was shared by 2 16yr old boys but they didn't seem to mind. There were plenty of dishes, classes, pots, pans and utensils although I did have to run everything through the dishwasher to get them clean before using them. The pots and pans are on the low end and didn't want to let go of the eggs that the last tenant made so I had to run them through twice to use myself. I had to do it twice again when I was done with them as they seemed to want to keep our eggs, too. Other than that, the unit was really very clean. The fridge didn't seem to get as cold as we have ours set at home but that's why we brought bags of ice with us so it was no problem. Having a Keurig to use was a total plus and best of all was being there over the Fourth of July. You're right next to the fishing pier for the fireworks show and the fireworks on the beach. It was awesome. We sat on the balcony and watched them for hours. Will definitely try to book here again if our plans take us to PCB.

Spring Break 2021

The condo itself was very nice. Very tastefully decorated, plenty of space for our family of six. Really good mattresses and nice TVs in each bedroom. The owner of the property also provided lots of additional beach chairs sand toy‘s and umbrellas. One of the perks of the rental included two property lounge chairs and umbrella that were set up each day during our stay which was very nice. My only issue with the actual condo was the fact that it didn’t seem like it had enough kitchen utensils. There was only one baking sheet one mixing bowl and no cutting board. And it would’ve been nice to have some basic spices. That’s just an extra plus in my opinion when renting from VRBO‘s. The owners of the property also were very quick to help us out when we had problems accessing the TV. It was much appreciated as it was NCAA basketball tourney time. While the condo itself was very nice we did have some issues with the actual property. Mainly the issues with parking- It was just a hassle to go from the condo across the skyway to the parking lot every time you wanted to leave. But it seems like a lot of the bigger condos were like that. The elevators are very slow and they’re not nearly enough of them especially with this year’s spring break crowd-hopefully it’s not like that all the time. But the Property does have two large heated pools and a nice tiki bar that served pretty good drinks.

Not very clean and equipped

We have stayed at calypso for several years in several different rentals. This was our least favorite. The second bedroom had hair all over the bed when we arrived, the microwave handle had been taped together, cabinet doors taped together, curtain rod had been rigged to stay up, only one frying pan and one pot, not enough to cook a meal, paint had been touched up and looked awful. No spare blankets. Was very disappointed compared to our other years at calypso.

very disappointed!

The furniture is very worn out and very out dated! The TV’s are terrible! To small to watch and the picture on the tv is bad! There wasn’t an iron! I would have brought one if I would have known, we were just very disappointed because we stayed at calypso last year in a different room and it was great! This trip it rained a couple days all day so we were in the room more and the TVs just aren’t good! Also one of the days it was cloudy not raining but little cloudy and they came around and got our umbrella that we were using at 3pm which me and a lot of other guests said that was to early, we asked them to leave them but they would not! The other guest got so mad he said for money he had to pay to stay there they should have at least put cushions and left umbrellas out longer than that and that he would never stay there again.
