Alquiler mínimo de tres noches desde el 1 de septiembre de 2019 hasta el 1 de junio de 2020. Meses de verano 2020 1 de junio-sept. 1 mínimo de 4 noches.
Acogedora y cómoda casa familiar de 3 dormitorios y 2 baños en un pequeño lago privado sin acceso público. Duerme 8.
2 millas al oeste de Garrison, Minnesota, al final de una calle tranquila en un lote aislado en el bosque sin tráfico.
Lote nivelado y suavemente inclinado a la playa de arena. Mucho espacio en el patio para juegos y actividades familiares al aire libre. Espectaculares vistas del atardecer en el muelle desde la orilla este del lago. Serenos días de verano (e invierno) y tardes para largas caminatas, pesca o paseos en bote en el lago, sentados junto a un fuego al aire libre asando S'mores, o simplemente pasando el rato. Canoa, bote de pesca, bote de remos, tubos y una tabla de remo en la propiedad.
1 habitación principal y 1 habitación regular (1 cama doble cada una), otra habitación regular con literas dobles. 2 baños completos, sofá cama en la sala de estar. Casa con capacidad para 8 personas. Totalmente amueblado para incluir utensilios de cocina y electrodomésticos, lavavajillas, microondas, parrilla de carbón, ropa de cama, toallas y paños. Casa de 1,200 pies cuadrados con calefacción durante todo el año, aire acondicionado, lavadora y secadora. Las cubiertas adjuntas delanteras y traseras le permiten disfrutar del sol durante todo el día. Un pozo de fuego al lado del lago está allí para que la familia lo disfrute (leña siempre)

We really enjoyed our time in this cute house! We loved having the dock and lake right outside our back door! Kenney Lake was the perfect lake for us! We were able to fish from the dock and in the provided boat and do some paddle boarding. Dave was a great host!

Fishing on Kenney Lake

My husband and I were back in the Brainerd area where I grew up and chose the home because it is on a lake, which I knew would be more peaceful than Mille Lacs Lake and provide us everything we needed. We loved the house, enjoyed the boat provided by Dave and caught a bunch of delicious fish. It is peaceful, but an easy drive for groceries or fishing equipment. The hosts are very friendly, even giving us tips on fishing and a big bunch of grapes! The home is comfortable with plenty of room. The bathrooms are great, very clean, and kitchen is well stocked with all the tools you need to cook. We would love to come back here again!

Fabulous Kenney Lake retreat

This was the perfect place for grandparents and teen grandsons who like to fish. Dave and Lorrie were wonderful hosts. The home was comfy, very clean and well stocked. Having access to a motor boat and other water vehicles was a plus. Kenney Lake is lovely and full of fish. We look forward to a future visit.

very relaxing spot on a small uncongested lake. many days we had it to ourselves. Hosts were very friendly and accommidating providing everything needed for a wonderful 2 weeks

Wonderful family time

Our family so enjoyed the time we spent at Dave & Lorrie's lake home. They are wonderful hosts, and provided everything we needed to make our time together as a family so fun & relaxing. Our adult sons loved having a fishing boat/motor provided, and they spent many hours fishing. We enjoyed all the water toys provided too. The house had everything we needed, and after we unpacked, we truly felt like we were home. We hope to return for a future vacation. Thank you for everything Dave & Lorrie!

Fishing and Relaxatio Fantasy!

Lorrie and Dave are WONDERFUL! They are incredibly hospitable and keep the Kenney Lake Retreat clean and very well stocked. The fishing was awesome (large mouth bass, northern pike and a variety of pan fish) and Dave was kind enough to show us how to use the motor, and even refilled the gas for us! The cabin is wonderful, the lake is serene and the yard is beautiful, oh, and the humming birds! So many! I highly recommend and we hope to be back.

Absolutely recommend

We had a great week on Kenney Lake. Dave and Lorrie have clearly put a lot of thought and energy into making sure the property has anything you could need during your stay. The home was immaculate. Spent a lot of time fishing, swimming and relaxing. Everyone in our group, from a grandmother in her mid-70s to two teenaged boys, had a great time. Dave made sure that we had everything we need and was always available for questions but definitely gave us privacy and made us very comfortable. Great property with great hosts.

Great cabin on a beautiful lake

My family and I just spent an amazing week on Kenney Lake. It’s a small but gorgeous lake. The water is so clear. My girls loved playing in the water right by the dock. We took advantage of everything: paddle boards, paddle boat, motorboat. If you swim to the middle of the lake you’ve got the perfect place to swim. The cabin is very clean and spacious. We checked out a few nearby lakes (We recommend Pelican beach for the day). Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Our favorite activity was an evening boat ride to watch the sunset. Dave and Lorrie were excellent hosts.

Wonderful nature experience

Clear quiet lake with a loon family to entertain us. Island in common area is great for food preparation. One 16 inch small mouth bass made my husband happy. Truck tire inner tubes were great fun. Hosts are super.

Great cabin!

This is a fantastic property! Me and wife took our two young boys there for a last summer up-north getaway and it was everything we could have hoped for. The owners were great, made us feel at home, cabin has everything we needed including a fully stocked kitchen. It was a huge plus that the cabin came with a fishing boat, canoe, paddle boat and paddleboards, made entertaining the kids easy. The owners were also available to help us learn the best spots for fishing and went out of their way to help us with the right tackle we would need for fishing success. Highly recommend this cabin and owners!

Kenney Lake Retreat

Beautiful, private lake and nice property. The owners are very pleasant and hospitable. The rental is very well equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed the use of the dock, boat and paddle boat, included with our stay.

Week at Kenney Lake

We enjoyed boating in motorboat, paddle boat, paddle board, and canoe. Our grandson enjoyed the access to the sandy boat launch where he could wade in the lake and play in the water. We all liked roasting marshmallows over the campfire, cooking out on the grill, and watching loons from the dock. It was convenient having a grocery store and restaurants only a few miles away.

Beautifu, Quiet Retreat

We were looking for a quiet spot to bring our father for probably his last vacation. 50 years ago he had a cabin on Farm Island Lake. We were trying to find a spot close by. By chance we found this lovely cabin on a beautiful lake. The cabin is fresh and clean, decorated by Lorrie with a loving hand. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The beds were comfortable and offered an extra set of sheets. The cabin was beautifully furnished. We were able to access the internet and reach family on our phones. Every night we sat on the deck and watched the beautiful sun set over Kenny Lake. My husband and brother in law caught and released (by their choice) plenty of sunnies and bass. Our last evening we barbecued on the back deck. Lorrie and David were wonderful hosts and checked to see if we were happy a couple of times. When you check in she greets you with the best banana bread ever!

Great location for a family vacation. Very peaceful and relaxing.

We had a great time at the cabin. Kids loved the paddle boat and paddle board. The house had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen well stocked with everything you need to cook. We were welcomed by the owners and they were there if we had as problem, which we didn't, but it was nice to know that they were there if needed. We enjoyed fishing in the lake. The views were breathtaking. We will definately look into this place again if we are in the Brainerd area.

Peaceful lake house, great for family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at Lorrie and Dave's place. We found the place immaculate and located as described, at the end of a road, away from traffic with great backyard area and front yard facing the lake. Plenty of room for kids to play and adults to relax. Nice weber charcoal grill and designated bonfire area. We were impressed with how well the house was equipped- kitchen had everything you may need, including a mixer, muffin pans, measure cups, ziplock bags, seasoning essentials, even cooking oil, cereal, you name it. Extra towels and linens were provided. Dishwashing and laundry detergent were a bonus. We enjoyed the beautiful lake and plenty of green trees around with local birds. There were water toys and a boat/ canoe provided, which was essential to enjoy the lake. There is a nice dock with a bench. Kids were fishing right of the dock. There is a little beach and access to shallow water which was great for children. My only complaint was the amount of seaweed, you couldn't really get into the water to swim around, unless you took the boat to the middle of the lake. In this case it would be nice to have a platform to use. Kids didn't mind the seaweed, so it was fine for them. The place is minutes away from a gas station, grocery store, and bar, which was very convenient. Mille Lacs is a short drive away if you want to go on a bigger lake to do some fishing etc. The house had resources about attractions in the area. Lorrie and Dave were great hosts. I recommend staying at their place.

Outstanding family vacation

Incredible cabin: clean and perfectly maintained. A lot of outdoor space for small kids to run and play. We stayed there with our kids and grand kids who had a lot of fun. Quiet lake with gorgeous sunsets. The owners, Dave and Lorrie are super nice and very friendly people who made our stay a fantastic experience. Plan to return next Summer, but want to stay longer. This is an excellent place for family gathering.

This property sets the standard

When we arrived, Lorrie and Dave greeted us like we were old friends. They walked us around pointing out all the things we needed to know, both inside and out. They finished with 'if you need anything, just knock on our door'. The home is fully furnished from the kitchen to the baths, including a washer and dryer. The sunsets out the big picture window are great. With a deck in front and back, you can have sun or shade all day. We made use of the 'toys' by the dock. There is a fishing boat with electric trolling motor, a canoe, a paddle board, inner tube, and play toys for the sand. Our grandkids had fun catching sunnies off the dock. We caught northern pike and large mouth bass at the edge of the weed bed. We did keep a few and enjoyed every bite. There are some shops in town that the ladies had fun in, and it's not far to Brainard, a larger community. To be honest, we enjoyed the quiet and solitude. The time spent relaxing on the deck, or down by the lake, helped all of us loose some of the day to day tensions we all have. We are already talking about another visit. It will be good to see our new friends when we do. Jim Damon

Dave has lived on Kenney Lake in the summertime for over 65 years and knows the area very well. Dave & Lorrie retired in 2013 and now live in the area full time.

This is a beautiful west facing property on a small peaceful lake. The fishing, hunting, hiking and other outdoor activities are outstanding, Cuyuna mountain biking area is world class. Races at BIR are only 30 minutes away. Wild life abounds and the viewing is unprecedented. Wake up or fall asleep to the sound of loons calling in the summer and owls year round. Eagle and osprey viewing is a daily occurrence.
