The location is great. Relatively close to the beach with lots of food options nearby and easy drive to other parts of Wildwood or Cape May. The cottage was clean when we checked in, but the floor surface was the type that gets dirty very quickly so you'll most likely be sweeping intermittently during your stay. The hosts were very pleasant and communicative through text and the app. I only met Carl in person, and he was very nice and helpful! My only complaint is the lack of supplies. I know it's mentioned in the description, but one trash bag and one roll of one-ply toilet paper for a 5-day stay is basically nothing. And there was no hand soap, napkins, or paper towels either.

Thanks for your honest thoughts. Unfortunately, Living by The Beach does cause the floor to get Sandy often. We try very hard to keep a VERY CLEAN home. As far as expendable supplies go, you rented the economy package. We have five units on that property. The more you pay the more you get. So please consider when paying a certain price, was the value there? Plus you’re renting the home not my supplies, toilet paper, paper towel, towels, napkins… are things you should be supplying. Many shared homes don’t supply these things. We give you what you need to get started with. Please keep that in mind the next time you review a home. We’re trying to keep the cost down and make it affordable for families to still come to the beach. If you want those luxuries try one of our other units. Thanks for staying. We appreciate your thoughts.

This property is perfect for couples or small families. Located in a safe neighborhood and with owners on site, this cottage provided comfort and peace of mind - creating a relaxing vacantion environment. The beach and boardwalk are just a short walk yet far enough so there isn't any noise. The restaurant next store has live music each night you can enjoy from your porch! Lastly, the owners are thoughtful, approachable, and willing to help with anything. I can't wait to return!

Acerca de su propietario/a

Propietario/a: Carl & Grace Dolente

Imagen de perfil del propietario o de la propietaria
This old teacher and hubby, Carl, love rescuing old homes and restoring them to their natural beauty. The House of Grace is our newest venture, and we are loving every moment of her restoration. The property holds five adorable vacation units. We enjoy giving old, tired furniture and beautiful facelift. Come see our creative touch on this new/old gem located on E Burk Avenue, Wildwood, NJ.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The House of Grace joins yesteryear and current day living within the precious five units of the Property. We wanted a tired looking home by the ocean and boardwalk in order to put our love of restoration into our favorite resort area. Now that we became grandparents, we want our family and friends to gather often to create nostalgic memories. Walk to shopping, mini golf, boardwalk, beach, water parks, amusements, restaurants, a brewery, and NJ Transit. Become a continuing vacationer at our newest/old favorite home by the sea.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Each vintage dresser holds a story of the last fifty plus years of residing at the shore. The old fashioned sinks caused us to open our wallets to invest in the sweetest, most charming apartments we could afford. Each unit has its very own porch/deck that invites its guests to rest awhile with a glass in hand. We look forward to meeting you and hearing about your favorite thing in your unit.
