Whispering Shores está cómodamente situado en la costa norte del hermoso lago Brevort, en la península superior oriental de Michigan. Relájese en la sala de sol completamente amueblada para disfrutar de las espectaculares puestas de sol por la noche. Te lo prometemos, te quitará el aliento!
Esta casa unifamiliar cuenta con 3 dormitorios, 2 baños, terraza acristalada, cocina completa y está a solo unos pasos de un muelle privado con una gran piscina de arena. Como siempre, los niños son bienvenidos!
Disfrute del ambiente verdaderamente refrescante de la U. P con árboles de cedro en el frente que ofrecen sombra sobre el pozo de la hoguera y un lugar privado con 135 pies de fachada en 4400 acres en todo el lago Brevort de deportes .. La cubierta junto al lago es perfecta para leer un libro, desayunar o simplemente contemplar el lago y sus increíbles vistas.
Exhibiciones de automóviles, festivales de jazz y muchas comunidades del área que ofrecen entretenimiento durante todo el año, todo a una corta distancia en automóvil.

Whispering shores

The home is a rather nice quiet place on the lake. However, there were some issues. Somewhat remote location on a dusty road. Arrived to several bags of trash on garage floor. Grill not in best of shape. Several interior doors would not open due to hanging up on carpet. TV not reliable reception. Did not seem very clean. Not all bad but probably would not rent same unit again.

July 4th family trip

My wife two kids and my parents enjoyed this spacious house on lake brevity. We kept busy even when we weren’t exploring the U.P.

Won’t stay at a Northern Michigan Vacation Rentals (NMVR) property again

The good: GREAT location😃- a quiet, secluded residential community right on Brevort Lake. 20 minute drive to St Ignace. Plenty of extra towels, linens, & blankets. Windows open for fresh lake breezes. Kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, utensils, prep materials. The beds were comfortable, & there was plenty of space for the 5 of us 🙂 The bad 😔 This place was dirty, lacked hot water in one of the showers, and both the host and property management company were unresponsive during our 2-night stay. Dishwasher was inoperable, and disgustingly dirty. Grill had grease running down all over the propane tank due to an overflowing grease trap (we emptied it & wiped down the tank). The windows were dirty-looked like someone had spit tobacco chew on the outside), and full of cobwebs inside & out. I’ve been VRBOing for 10+ years, and this place…not good. If this is how NMVR manages their properties…I hope we just got a dud, & their other properties are managed & cleaned much better than ours. I won’t rent from them again, and I’ll caution those considering renting their property to be aware.

Summer vacation

This property was a great place for a quiet summer vacation. The lake is shallow and good for swimming with a sandy bottom. The house has a nice screened porch for enjoying the lake views.

Not the best trail access if snowmobiling

We brought a suv and 27’ trailer for snowmobiling. House was great. Everything was clean but unfortunately the driveway wasn’t plowed and there was a good foot plus of snow. ,and the steps were iced over. We ended up staying in a motel. Owner did refund us partially and that was acceptable. Great place otherwise.

Labor Day Weekend 2022

This house was perfect for our holiday weekend getaway. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The grill was conveniently located right outside the kitchen & dining room. The view of the sunset and moonset (didn't know that was a thing!) over the lake was amazing. We made use of the firepit every night. Overall, we were really happy with the space and we'd definitely go back.

Peaceful but worn

The house itself was clean, but some of the dishes were not, so I had to wash them before using. The kitchen needs a good scrub (things in cabinets and drawers), purge, and organization. The rest of the house was quite clean. The location was wonderfully peaceful and we enjoyed the fire pit and dock in the backyard for watching sunsets. A couple oddities with this stay - there is NO tv of any sort unless you connect through your smart phone's hot spot, and when they say they provide ONE roll of toilet paper per bathroom they are not kidding. You will not find a spare roll in the house. Or kleenex. It just seems odd to be stingy with the paper products. If you stay a week with female, 1 roll won't last. Also, there's obvious wear and tear on some of the furniture.

Whispering Shores

Overall, it was a very good experience. I had a bit of difficulty locating the towels (put away in a closet), but the company was responsive to my request. Some of the furniture was a bit rickety, but a good amount of space and seating. Good supply of utensils in the kitchen, however a cookie sheet and a glass mixing bowl would come in handy. The location is excellent— day trips to all eastern UP sites within an hour or so, and central UP WITHIN 2 hours. Thank you!

Disappointed

The location and size of house was fine for 2 couples. We enjoyed being close to the lake. The kitchen was good size and well stocked. We were disappointed in the over powering musty smell and the unclean floors in bathroom and damp bedrooms carpet and damp couch that still was damp feeling after a week. We cleaned and aired the house and bought wall air fragrance to be able to stay there. The day we left, we stripped the sheets as instructed and then found a filthy mattress pad underneath. Not happy with the basic cleanliness. Reported to management so hopefully things will improve.

Brevort trip

Few small glitches with trash pick up and TV reception but property managers were very quick to respond to our questions. View of lake was awesome. Remote but relatively close drive to all of the areas we were wanting to visit.

Whispering Shores

We stayed here in June and the location and space of the home is excellent. It was so peaceful sitting out by the water. The up keep of the house could use some improvements. We had t sweep the porches when we arrived because the were littered with debris including screws. We were not aware that we needed to turn on the circuits for the water. appliances and the house. When we arrived and turned on the the water we had none. When we called the management company their response was they would send out maintenance but could not say when because the did not know where they were. We had to explore and find the circuit breaker box to discover we need to turn everything on. No big deal but it would have been nice to know this. We had to clean both bathrooms including the rugs. The institutions we had were not current, we were instructed to take the garbage to the end of the road when we had to take it to the end pf the street. The instructions stated we would have tv but there was no hookups provided for the TV. This was not a big deal because we weren't there for TV but it should have been provided if it states so. worse of all of this is in one of the bedrooms we found a pill of seeds on top of the comforter and under pillows. Clearly no one had walked through the house or cleaned the house prior to our arrival.

Great experience

Check in was easy, everything was great. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would stay here again, sun room was wonderful, lake was quiet.
