Tess provided a wonderful home with a great atmosphere. My family and I had a great week, and the close proximity to the beach was ideal. I would recommend the home and I would definitely book again!

This unit is the lower level of a condo. This meant that we had renters above us. Unfortunately, those above us were loud & rude. Tess communicated quickly on the issue of how to use the keypad entry. She answered reasonably when asked about additional bathroom towels (the master bathroom had 3 sets and guest bathroom had none for a family of four).Unfortunately, when asked about the noise from the unit above us we received zero communication. The unit is in need of some tlc. The cabinets in the guest bathroom had loose pieces of hardware & the plumbing fixtures in the master bathroom were flimsy. Many of the doors were dirty. Shower liner was noticeably used. The exterior shower is next to the gas meter. The washer & dryer are outside as well. Location was convenient.

Couldn't have asked for anything more for our family of four for a San Diego vacation. Property is just a short walk to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. Everything you might need is on site including washer and dryer which is great for a week-long stay. Highly recommend. If I had to make one suggestion it would be to have a recycling container at the property.

Really enjoyed our stay, great location in south mission beach just steps from the sand. There were some minor things that did not work- a couple of the lights/fans and the fire pit, but it does not affect my rating. The unit is the downstairs unit and was the perfect size for our family. The 2 bathrooms was a plus, loved the patio as well. I would also note that the parking space like most in the area is pretty small and in the back alleyway- our car was too big for the spot so found street parking all but one night where we made it work, but not an issue. It’s about a 10 min walk to the main Belmont area, but we liked being a little distance away from that anyway so it was perfect!

Trip to San Diego

Great property and location. Parking at the property was a little tough (tight spot in a tight alley). Maybe that’s the norm in the area? Great beach access. /- 15 minutes to pretty much everything we wanted to do. Perfect for 4-5 people.

Had a great stay. The outdoor fire pit wouldn’t start but wasn’t a big deal. Excellent spot for folks driving in. My SUV fit great in the back.

Absolutely Fantastic Property!

This is the best property we have ever stayed at. First- the location was wonderful. It’s 4 houses from the sand- so convenient- you can easily go back and forth to refill on supplies. The property is updated- everything was extremely clean- all dishes were super clean, water pressure and water heat was good, beds were soft. This host thought of everything. There were fans in all the rooms if it got hot. We were so impressed by the cleanliness and the overall quality of the home. Tess was super prompt when I asked questions- very hospitable host! We cannot wait to come back!

Our stay at Tess's beach house was truly enjoyable, with the property providing everything we needed and more. The decor was tastefully done, and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the convenient walking distance to various amenities, such as the beach, bay, shopping, food, and coffee shops. The outdoor space & parking space was a welcome bonus. Our group agreed that the accommodations were excellent, and we plan to book again.

My family of 6 was very comfortable here. Not to mention the unbeatable location. Amazing spot that we hope to return to soon! So so please with the all aspects of this rental! Such a beautifully kept home and outdoor space. Best family vacation ever!Thank you for sharing with us.

Family Vacation

The property was perfect for our family Vacation. Our girls loved being able to sleep on bunk beds and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. Including 4 adults and 2 children. We loved having just a 1 minute walk to the beach and having a full closet of beach toys and supplies was so helpful. Great location

Great location a few steps from Mission Beach. We had plenty of room for our family of 4. Parking is tight in the neighborhood if bringing a vehicle - we were able to make it work. Nice property!

Amazing location and close to everything

The property is located right off the beach with everything within close proximity. The property is well kept and updated although there are some signs of age. But nothing of concern. One reserved parking space was available which was a great perk at the location. Kids enjoyed all the beach toys provided and the bunk bed was also great for kids.

Christmas visit

We want to thank you for sharing your home with us. We rented for ten days through the Christmas holiday. The house was perfect for our family! Our son is currently living on the next street over and this allowed us to share the holiday together. We enjoyed a Christmas cookout on the patio and a fire in the evening. The open kitchen had all the appliances and cookware we needed. The large dining area provided space for family meals and a lot of game playing. The location was great as well and we enjoyed walks along the beach each day. We will rent again if the opportunity arises!

Great place clean and tidy

Group of a friends, place was just 4 mins walk to beach. Rooms are clean , everything inside home is updated and new. Tess is agreat hist and respinds promptly .

Great location

The home is in a fantastic location, the perfect space for our family of 4 adults and three kids. The firepit was perfect for relaxing that evening. The primary bedroom had a foam/egg crate mattress topper and very worn pillows, and the towels were cheap and thin. I would recommend bringing a pillow. The property is charming but old. So, two people cannot shower simultaneously, and the water will get scalding hot (dangerous for littles) or frozen cold. just beware The home was dirty which was surprising because there is a $230 cleaning fee. We had dust bunnies in our shoes, and the house would benefit from a deep cleaning. It is charming and in a great location, but I am slightly disappointed in the cost vs value. Please note that there is only one small dedicated parking spot. We had two cars, and one had to park a quarter mile away.

This is a quiet little slice of heaven located in paradise. This is the only place in San Diego that you can be completely surrounded by water and still be 10 mins away from all the amenities San Diego has to offer. It is gorgeous!
