Espectacular amanecer que brilla en el lago desde este tranquilo retiro junto al lago

Nuestra escapada familiar está disponible y es asequible para su familia y amigos. Este retiro de 3 dormitorios se encuentra en un terreno llano, arbolado y tranquilo con acceso inmediato al lago. Disfrute de espectaculares amaneceres con café de la mañana en la terraza junto al lago o sentado en un banco junto al agua. Nada en el lago de fondo de arena dura o navega por los 2 kayaks provistos. Trae un bote para pescar o practicar deportes acuáticos. El embarcadero público está a solo un par de millas de distancia. Asar al aire libre en la parrilla de carbón o gas provista. Varias mesas de picnic también están disponibles para su uso. Un incendio en el anillo de fuego junto al lago es una forma perfecta de terminar una noche tranquila y pacífica.
El plano de las casas abiertas ofrece vistas del lago, incluso en el interior. La sala de estar contiene un televisor con reproductor de DVD y DVDs familiares. La cocina está totalmente equipada con vajilla, cafetera, microondas, tostadora, ollas, sartenes y cristalería. Cada uno de los 3 dormitorios contiene una cama queen size con ropa de cama. El baño contiene una bañera grande y ducha y viene con toallas y papel higiénico. También hay una lavadora / secadora ubicada en el baño.

Quiet lake getaway

Property was adequate and satisfactorily equipped for an extended stay; Owners were responsive to questions and were quick to replace a microwave that malfunctioned during our stay.

Perfect Weekend Get Away

We were very happy with our stay here! Kids LOVED the paddle boat and used it to go fishing..worked out great! Kayaks were awesome to get out and see the lake and catch some fish. Caught a variety and the cleaning house was perfect for us to take home our bounty! House was very clean and it was great having on-site laundry for our family of 5! The ONLY downfall of our stay was there was a big, heavy rainstorm where we went to a nearby town to do some bowling to pass some time, when we came back there was a slight leak in the roof in the kitchen..nothing major, but would like the owners to be aware of it. Thanks for the great stay and if we are in the area again, we will most definitely come back!

Nice Private Getaway on Dead Lake

Used this place for a fishing trip with my Dad and friend. Place was big enough for a 21ft boat, had plenty of plug-ins to plug in boat. The outside looks rough but the inside is very nice. You can tell he takes care of it. Place is very spacious, and he has many other things for you to do such as kayaks/canoes/ etc. Also has a dock. Would highly recommend for anybody not willing to spend a lot of money for a “newer” VRBO. Only complaints are 1) it is on gravel but that isn’t too big of a deal, 2) no WiFi, and 3) we could not find a trash bin to use inside the house, but we may have just been blind.

Lake getaway

We had a great time. The kayaks, paddle boat, and swimming dock were well used. Fishing was great! The house was very clean inside. The property was spacious and there were lots of picnic tables, hammocks and chairs to use. I wasn’t able to locate the life jackets so either check with the host or bring your own.

Dead lake trip

Perfect getaway

This getaway was perfect. Great shallow swimming beach. The paddle boat was awesome. Fishing was good. The swings were a huge bonus and got a lot of use. The cabin was clean, cozy and had absolutely everything! We would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing getaway

We really enjoyed our time here and lucked out with some warmer late fall weather. The lake is beautiful (pretty shallow too) and was great for kayaking with the kids. No fish (water too cold this time of as everything has gone deeper), but still a great time. The cabin layout is fine- even with 4 kids under 12 we had enough room. It's nothing fancy- but exactly what you should expect for the price. We'd love to come back in the summer when the water is warmer and there are more fish to catch!

Diamond in the Ruff

Great view of the lake right from the living room, everything outside from kayaks, to the fire pit and paddle boat. Good fishing even right off the dock. Nice quiet location with only one direct neighbor, close to Ottertail and Zorbas.

Great family vacation

Property is as described. The beach area and gradual slope of the lake made it nice to lounge in the water and for the dogs to play, they had a blast. The water was very nice, clean. We enjoyed the kayaks provided by the owner. The dock on the property was great. We also rented a pontoon from NBL Marine nearby. They delivered and picked up which was nice.

Peaceful, quiet family getaway on the lake

Great place for a peaceful, private stay on a lake. Nothing fancy on the outside, but inside the house is a well equipped place that’s great for a family stay. I appreciated the griddle for our morning pancakes and the ample pots and pans. Beds were comfy, plenty of towels, and outside a fire ring with wood ready to go. Kids enjoyed the swing that goes out over the water, and we all loved the chair hammock to relax in, hung from high up in the tree. Beautiful morning sunrise and at night, the breeze blowing through the cottonwoods, star gazing, and listening to the lake water lapping at the shore while sitting around the fire was just beautiful. Sandy, shallow beach area is nice for kids playing in water. Caught sunnies off of the dock. Kayaks and paddle boat were great fun for exploring the lake. Bill and Bonnie were friendly. Bonnie stopped by and replaced a broken coffee maker with a new one during our stay. Nice people.

A nice getaway but a little rough around the edges

This spot is in a great location and has a lot of potential. For an older mobile home it was about what we expected except for some pest control issues. I know lake places come with their fair share of bugs but the entire exterior of this home was covered in thick cobwebs which I attempted to sweep off at one point. I am not a fan of spiders and there were alot of them. Within the first 5 minutes of being inside I swept a spider off the bed where I was nursing my baby. I found another one a couple of days later. There were quite a few well established cob webs and spiders in the corners of the ceilings and dead bugs in the lamp shades. We also had a somewhat large mouse roaming around the last day of the stay. Bill was very great about bringing over traps when we requested them. Lastly there was a musty smell in some of the bedrooms and one some of the linens. Overall we enjoyed our time here but would recommend some pest management for a more comfortable stay.

Awesome getaway!

Was an awesome place! We have two dogs and one just loves to swim! It was the perfect privacy we needed and plenty of room! The house was very clean and had everything we needed!

It was great

I would stay there again. Hopefully next year the water level in the lake is a little higher, but everything was great. Caught some nice bass
