Villa Caneva está aprobada por la Organización de Turismo de Grecia con número de licencia: 1041K10003016601 y gestionada por "etouri gestión de alquileres de vacaciones".

Villa Caneva es un 120 metros cuadrados. villa construida en piedra, situada en una colina rodeada de árboles al lado del pueblo de Prines. A solo 10 minutos de la ciudad y la playa de Rethymno, esta villa renovada fue antiguamente un antiguo acueducto tradicional construido en la década de 1950. Ofrece total privacidad en un pueblo relajante.

La villa tiene capacidad para 6 personas en camas y hasta 8 personas.

En la planta baja se encuentra la sala de estar con una mesa de comedor cubierta, cocina totalmente equipada y un baño con ducha! La cocina tiene una salida a la zona de barbacoa y jardín.

En la primera planta hay 3 dormitorios y un baño con ducha. Dos habitaciones están con cama doble con acceso a la terraza y los otros anfitriones una litera (2 camas individuales unidas).

Aire libre cerca de los jardines y los árboles con una piscina privada con tumbonas y sombrillas de flores se puede encontrar. También encontrará una zona de barbacoa totalmente equipada, muchas zonas de estar con vistas y un montón de espacio para que los niños jueguen.

Toda la zona está vallada y protegida por un sistema de cámaras de seguridad dirigido a la puerta principal!

Beautiful spacious villa

We have a had a wonderful week in the villa, great facilities with everything you need. Good location and added bonus of a midweek clean and courtesy pass at Baja beach club. We will miss it and the visiting cats. Thank you Eleni and Etouri.

Beautiful stay at Villa Caneva

Just returned from our stay here. We were warmly welcomed by Eleni the owner who showed us around the stunning villa, the villa itself is beautifully renovated-rustic from the outside with the most gorgeous patio/eating areas and lovely inside with all mod cons and everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. I was slightly concerned about not having air con downstairs ( it is in all bedrooms) but honestly it’s not needed as the walls are so thick it keeps the area cool.We spent most of of time around the pool area which is set in beautiful gardens and has a great outdoor kitchen too. The villa is a short walk away from 3 Tavernas and we enjoyed several meals at all of them and highly recommend each one. Honestly this is the perfect place to just get away from it all and Crete is just so beautiful. Teens and adults all had a fab holiday and we will definitely come back. My daughter loved the 2 friendly “villa” cats who she named leni and Larry ☺️ They made her holiday. Don’t hesitate to book this villa ,it is exactly like the photos and the reviews say it all. 10/10 .

Perfekt ab der ersten Minute

Von der Buchung bis zur Ankunft war die Kommunikation mit der Agentur Etouri perfekt. Jede Anfrage wurde sofort zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit beantwortet. Ich bin Inhaber eines Reisebüros und so ein professionelles Service ist sehr erfreulich und herausragend! In der Villa Caneva angekommen wurden wir herzlich empfangen und Frau Eleni zeigte uns das Haus. Dieses wunderschöne Haus ist eine der bezauberndsten Unterkünfte, die wir bisher bewohnt haben. Charme, Komfort und Ausstattung, Sauberkeit und viel Liebe zum Detail ... es fehlte uns an nichts! Die Reinigung, das Poolservice und das Service während unseres Aufenthalts funktionierte ohne Störung. Wir wurden sogar einmal mit einer Süssen Überraschung sehr verwöhnt! Wir wünschen den Besitzern auch in Zukunft viele Gäste, die mit diesem wunderbaren Haus sorgsam umgehen! Irgendwann kommen wir bestimmt wieder. DANKE!!! Hildegard, Gery, Barbara und Joe

What a beautiful Villa.

We initially selected this villa purely on the basis of the photographs and description and it certainly did not disappoint! The place is fabulous, lovely grounds, great private pool, plenty of space to relax and eat outside, great BBQ and a lovely first floor balcony/terrace to sit in the evenings. Internally the villa is tastefully furnished, spacious and spotlessly clean. The owner, Elene, contacted us on a few occasions via email to make sure that everything was to our liking and to see if anything was required. The villa is equipped with everything you need and the housekeeper a pool maintenance man visit every three days. Just a gentle 10 minute stroll to the centre of Prines there are a couple of very friendly tavernas and Rethynmo is only a 15 minute drive away. All this made for a perfect holiday and we'll certainly be returning. Thank you Elene (and Etouri of course!) John & Mandy, Cheddar, England.

Tout simplement parfait!

De merveilleuses vacances pour nous et les enfants dans une villa très confortable et rénovée avec beaucoup de goût. Un vrai paradis (les photos ne mentent pas)! Et idéalement située (10 min en voiture du centre de Rethymnon et de la route principale de l'île). Merci tout particulièrement à l'agence Etouri pour sa communication rapide et claire (en ces temps incertains de COVID -19) et sa disponibilité ; ce qui nous a permis de passer de magnifiques vacances !

Sehr schönes und sauberes Cottage House

Wir haben das Haus angetroffen wie im Inserat beschrieben. Es ist innen und aussen wunderschön , sehr sauber und es fehlt an nichts. Für uns war die Lage ideal. Mit dem Auto ist man nach ein paar Dörfern auf der grossen Küstenstrasse und von dort schnell am Strand, in Rethymno usw. Zu Fuss ist man in knapp 10 Minuten im Dorf, wo es kleine Einkaufsläden und feinde Tavernen gibt. (Giannikos Taverna, oder auch das Veranta haben sehr gut gefallen.) Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir können das Haus benekenlos weiterempfehlen. Alles in allem hat es uns sehr gefallen und wir können das Haus

Traumurlaub in der Villa Caneva

Liebes Team, wir haben unseren Urlaub mit 4 Erwachsenen in der Villa Caneva verbracht. Es war vom ersten Moment an Wohlfühlen und Erholung pur. Es hat alles geklappt, vom späten Check in, über Anfragen und Wünsche bei der Agentur Etouri, oder den Besitzern selbst, bis zum Ceck out. Wir hatten vorab aufgrund unserer späten Anreise, darum gebeten uns ein paar Lebensmittel und Getränke in den Kühlschrank zu legen. Unser Wunsch wurde problemlos erfüllt und nur der Kaufpreis der Ware berechnet. Die Agentur Etouri war sehr engagiert und hat sich regelmässig nach unserem Wohlergehen, oder Wünschen erkundigt. Anfragen zu Veranstaltungen, oder Ausflügen wurden umgehend beantwortet. Die Villa selbst war für uns der absolute Knaller und die Lage in ländlicher Umgebung fernab des Touristenwuhlings hat uns sehr sehr gut gefallen. Wir sagen ganz herzlich Danke für diesen rundum Sorglos Urlaub

Wonderful Villa Caneva

Beautiful property in a great location... walking distance to a charming village, Prines, with excellent Taverna's, coffee shop, small grocery and even a pharmacy (they seem to be everywhere!). We enjoyed the pool...coming home in late afternoon and cooling down in the pool was a real pleasure. Property was very comfortable...nice beds, great air conditioning in each of the bedrooms, lots of outdoor seating and tables for eating...and a unique and beautiful restoration of a stone structure with spacious gardens. In addition, every time we returned we were greeted by two of the cutest little dogs (we worried the whole time about who fed them but they were obviously well cared for and happy). Recommend taking advantage of local walks especially evening walks through farms and village. We were enjoyed being greeted every morning by an array of roosters and sounds of farm animals. This is definitely a rural setting. We loved it and would return given the opportunity.

Wieder daheim ? Back at (secret) home?

Wir sind nach 8 Monaten wieder nach Kreata zurückgekehrt und haben 10 fantastische Tage verbracht und das hatte vor allem mit dem gut ausgestatteten und wundervollen Haus zu tun. Zum Haus gehört auch die Besitzerin Eleni, die für alles sorgt, was man für einen unbeschwerten Urlaub braucht. Über die Besitzerin und das betreuende Etouri-Vacation-Rental-Management können vom Mietwagen bis zum Tauchlehrgang alle möglichen Events gebucht werden. Alles geht undkompliziert und unaufdringlich. Die Lage ist ideal. Südküste und Westkreta sind schnell erreichbar. Der Sandstrand westlich von Rethymnon ist in weniger als 10 Minuten erreichbar. Im Ort gibt es eine Ansammlung von sehr guten Tavernen, die zu den Besten der Region gehören. Die Unterkunft ist so wie beschrieben, die Einrichtung ist neu und geschmackvoll, die Anlage top-gepflegt. Die Besitzerin pflegt die Anlage eigenständig. Alle notwendigen elektrischen Geräte (....und noch mehr) sind vorhanden. Wir können die Region, den Ort, sowie die Unterkunft und das Etouri-Team uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Beautiful Villa!

We really enjoyed a beautiful week in the villa Caneva. The house ist just perfect, there is all (or even more) you need. The garden, the pool and everything in the house is very organised and clean. We loved the hospitality and the perfect service from the owner. They surprises us even with self made cheese pies and e basket with a lot of greek specialties. We can really recommend the house.

We have spent fantastic holidays in Prines and specially in Villa Caneva. The house and the garden are beautifull, the owner provided us a very good custumer service. Simply Perfect!

This villa is of the highest quality. We had a wonderful stay here and only wish we had stayed longer. The property itself is immaculate, very well equipped and the owner has an incredible eye for detail, giving the house a wonderful sense of character, whilst making sure it is suitably comfortable. The outdoor area and pool are superb, making it the perfect place to relax or have fun with kids. The location is ideal. You can walk easily (8 mins) to Prines for essentials, or for a fantastic meal at Taverna Giannikos. It is a short drive to a number of local supermarkets or Lidl, if you prefer the familiarity! The lovely Episkopi beach and delightful Lake Kournas are not far and there are plenty of other areas to explore within easy reach. Eleni, the owner, is very welcoming and happy to assist if needed. She even treated us to delicious home baked Cretan pies! Kostas and his team at Etouri are also readily available to help make your stay even more comfortable. We have stayed in plenty of holiday houses before, but this is undoubtedly the best yet. As already mentioned, it is simply perfect!

Wonderful family holiday

This cottage was a real find, the communication as mentioned before is extremely reassuring, both from the owner and the agent, we really felt confident from the moment we booked, The cottage itself is fantastic, spacious inside and so much space for is all outside, equipped with everything we required it ticked every box. The pool as mentioned is large and a superb feature with loungers around the side, you feel very secure in letting the children play around with the garden fenced and electric gated at the driveway entrance You do need a car if you're staying here, the cottage is very easy to find with signs for the villa when you enter Prines, the nearest shops are a few minutes drive away where you can get necessities, and 5-10 minutes drive is a supermarket to stock up, A perfect base for exploring this area of Crete, Rethymnon and lake kournas, Which is beautiful ! Having stayed in Crete several times before, the vote from us and the children is that this cottage is now definitely a must for booking for next year ! A wonderful stay

Perfect home for our family vacation

This was the perfect home for our family vacation and we really appreciated the easy, efficient communication with the owner and the agency before and during our stay. We would rent this place again in a heartbeat if we ever happen to come back in this beautiful region. The villa gathered every feature we were hoping for. 1. Great location: 10-15 min away from downtown Rethymno and lots of sightseeing to do within 1-2 hours drive. Several supermarkets nearby, and in Prines we enjoyed the bakery and 3 friendly tavernas within walking (or very short car ride) distance. Nice views of the Mediterranean sea from the balcony, fairly secluded feeling. 2. House is spacious, well equipped and very clean. We had plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 small kids to roam around. Of course we spent most of our time outside and we enjoyed having 2 locations for outdoor meals/drinks - one on the balcony by the bedrooms and another one downstairs closer to the pool. We stayed 7 days and there was a cleaning 3 days into our stay. Beds were comfortable and linens of good quality. Pool towels were provided. There were also a few games and sand toys that we used. There is a small dishwasher that worked great. We used the washing machine a couple times although we struggled a bit to translate the programs written in Greek ;-) We had issues with the fridge that was not cold enough - but the fridge is brand new so it must have been a problem with settings rather than a defect of the fridge. The pool was another great feature of the house. Pretty deep overall (our 7 year old was just tall enough to walk on the front end) and water felt a bit chilly when the clouds were masking the sun but we all had lots of fun playing there. The landscaping of the property and the general atmosphere of the house (stone, wood, decoration) are very pleasant and relaxing. 3. Very responsive owner: she welcomed us the first day, had a nice basket of local items waiting for us on the dining table, and was very responsive (via text or phone call) each time we needed something. Thank you for letting us stay in your very pleasant villa!!

A really great villa

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Caneva it is a lovely villa beautifully maintained and very clean. The owner was extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. The children loved the pool and garden and my wife and I loved the balcony in the evening overlooking the sea with beautiful colours in the sky as the sun went down. It was a short walk to the village where there was a couple of mini markets and a very hospitable taverna with good food. Getting to the beach was easy in the car, what more do you need! I would highly recommend the villa as a choice for a relaxing holiday.

Villa Caneva : a wonderful place for your holidays

The villa is really a very nice place to live in. Situated in a quiet city (Prines), not far from the beaches and cooler than Rethymnon. Fantastic! A lovingly restored and very beautiful!

From the beautiful exposed stone to the intricate details, this villa is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed here for two weeks in July 2014, and loved every minute! Elena and Nikos - the owners - were very hospitable and helped us out no end, from their fresh eggs to their homemade treats they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their colleague Kostas was also very helpful and helped us to locate the villa very easily on arrival with clear instructions. The villa is close to the beach and the town of Rethymnon and is well situated for exploring both the south and north coast of the island. There are also plenty of places to eat locally, with two taverns in Prines and great restaurants in the neighbouring villages. The villa itself boasts speedy wi-fi, a gorgeous pool and great bbq area. There's plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the peaceful tranquility this villa has to offer - believe it our not, the villa is even more gorgeous in person than in the pictures. The building is beautifully restored and very pretty indeed. Out of all the places we've been lucky enough to visit, this was by far the most beautiful. The villa is spotless and has a great layout, providing space and intimacy for all guests. We visited with two teenagers, so this worked out really well for us. We wouldn't hesitate to visit the villa again and would highly recommend it to all types of groups and parties, especially families with children of all ages! A car is worth investing in and provides a great opportunity to really explore the local area and discover the beautiful beaches of the south cost and the buzzing towns of the north coast. A huge thank you to Nikos and Elena for a very enjoyable holiday, a gorgeous meal and all the treats you were kind enough to give us. We wish you every success in your new venture and hope it brings as much joy to others as it did to us!
