Toda la parcela de la villa es absolutamente hermosa y está organizada de forma única. El propietario ha diseñado y estructurado las áreas circundantes para la vista, los asientos y el ocio de verano. El jardín está lleno de una colorida y alegre variedad de plantas y flores, mientras que en toda la parcela se pueden encontrar árboles de todo tipo, como granadas, limones, naranjas, nueces, higos, kiwi, ciruelas, viñedos.

El pequeño arroyo que bordea la propiedad, es una perla absoluta. Este pequeño ecosistema pequeño pero sorprendentemente rico y vivo es el hogar de una pequeña comunidad de ranas muy alegre y dulce, así como de algunas especies de pequeñas aves intrigantes. Las tortugas peekaboo, aunque un poco tímidas, ¡también son bastante amigables!

Se han plantado más de 100 árboles (5 m de altura) alrededor de la propiedad para garantizar su total privacidad y tranquilidad.

La larga playa de arena de Roda es sin duda apreciada por muchos turistas, ya que se desliza suavemente hacia las profundidades y ofrece aguas muy poco profundas durante los primeros 40 minutos, ideal para niños pequeños, relajantes y para todo tipo de actividades / tiempo de juego. Más abajo en la playa encontrará 2 campos de voley playa, instalaciones para deportes acuáticos y varios chiringuitos.

El pueblo de Roda, también a 2 minutos de la Villa, tiene todo lo que desea y más: excelentes restaurantes de cocina tradicional griega, así como cocina internacional (italiana, china, británica ...), tiendas de recuerdos, supermercados, agencias de viajes, automóviles / alquiler de motos, cajero automático. Nuevo centro médico justo al otro lado de la entrada trasera de nuestra villa.

Para aquellos de ustedes que buscan clubes nocturnos, la Villa está a solo 3 minutos en coche de Acharavi y a 10 minutos de la mundialmente famosa playa de Sidari, un popular destino de discotecas para jóvenes griegos locales y británicos.

Our stay at Villa Jolie was wonderful! The villa offered plenty of room for our family of 10! It was also conveniently located and we could walk to restaurants, shops, grocery stores and the beach. The property was also pretty stocked with the items we needed for the week - towels (pool shower), kitchen/cooking items, bug spray, sun screen, shower/bath items, misc beauty/personal items, etc.Throughout the stay, we enjoyed all the amenities the property had to offer. The pool, tennis court, ping pong table, jacuzzi, and game room was thoroughly used by the whole family!Alex and George were lovely hosts as well, and very welcoming! When we first arrived, they both greeted us, quickly made us feel at home, and gave us a thorough tour of the property. They even left us some grocery basics and snacks to get us started. Prior to our stay, and especially during, they were helpful and easy to communicate with. Whether it was different questions about the house, or the town - they were always very responsive. Or when we thought the fridge stopped working or the dishwasher needed quick attention, everything was taken care of very quickly! We also met the housekeeper,Andrea, throughout the week and she was a pleasure as well!As we were departing, all three came to the house and were kind enough to see us We really had a great week/stay at Villa Jolie and couldn't recommend it enough.

Een heerlijk verblijf in een prachtige villa

We hebben een top tijd gehad in Villa Jolie. Het contact met de eigenaren (George & Alex) verliep vooraf en tijdens het verblijf goed. Het ontvangst was zeer fijn. We arriveerden om 09.30 uur op het eiland en konden al eerder dan de check-in tijd gebruik maken van alle faciliteiten. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien: ruim zwembad, jacuzzi, sauna, tennisbaan, zeer ruim uitgeruste keuken, ruime slaapkamers en nette badkamers. Bovendien wordt alles dagelijks schoongemaakt. Je loopt in slechts enkele minuten naar het strand, winkeltjes, de barretjes en restaurants. Toch heb je het gevoel van privacy en rust. Ideaal dus voor verschillende groepen. Wij waren met een vriendengroep van 11 personen. Het was een zeer geslaagd verblijf. Een echte aanrader! Wie weet tot ziens :).

We are a group of 10 friends who have just had a great week in this gorgeous house. From the pre holiday communications with George & Alix, to the lovely welcome from them on arrival & the friendly help from Andrea the housekeeper. The pool, tennis court, jacuzzi, garden - in fact, everything about this home was just perfect for us The most well equipped & clean holiday home we have ever stayed in. We’ll definitely be back 😎

Ein Traum

Toller Vermieter, der sich um alles kümmert und sehr großzügig einen Willkommensgruß mit Obst, Wurst, Käse, Brot, Getränken bei Ankunft bereitstellt. Die Villa ist ein Traum mit Tennisplatz, Jakuzzi und Pool. Wir kommen sicher wieder! Danke an Georges!!!

Fantastic Villa for a stay in Corfu

We were a party of 7 staying and we had a fantastic time. The Villa is spacious and clean and very well appointed. In a central location just a short walk from the beach, bars and restaurants. George and Alex could not have done enough for us. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Fabulous villa great location

Had a lovely time at Villa Jolie. Great pool, tennis court, hot tub etc. wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. It’s in a great location literally only minutes from the beach and tavernas but it still feels very secluded and private. George & Alex are so helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them! We have eaten out at different restaurants each night and they’ve all been lovely. If you fancy something different to Greek the Mexican & Italian are both great. Would recommend Agios Andreas Taverna, a 10min drive away. Very rustic but right on the sea and the seafood + orange pie for pudding are delish! Great facilities, lovely town, thanks again!

Wonderful

We had a wonderful fortnight at this property. Communication with George was excellent throughout, right from initial booking to when we were at the villa. The villa has everything you could possibly need for your stay and George and Alex seem to have considered everything even down to the welcome pack. Roda is a small town with a good selection of restaurants and bars and the villa is ideally located. We really enjoyed sitting in the hot tub watching turtles and fish in the creek next to it and listening to the roads. Was a real nature watch.

Ein Traum von einer Villa! Einfach sensationell!

Wir waren für einige Tage in der Villa Jolie. Und die bisherigen Bewertungen haben es genau auf dem Punkt getroffen. Es ist eine absolut fantastische Villa an der es an nichts fehlt! Alles sehr schön und sauber. Die Zimmer sind großartig. Der große Pool ist super. Der Whirlpool läd ebenso zum Entspannen ein. Und wer noch ein wenig mehr Bewegung brauch, der kann sich auf einen tollen Tennisplatz, einer Tischtennisplatte freuen oder ein paar Darts werfen. Wir haben wirklich alles genutzt. Hat viel Spaß gemacht! (Vielleicht denkt Georg ja auch noch über ein Poolbilliardtisch im Wohnzimmer nach) ;-) Strand (besser als gedacht und man kann in gut 50 Meter noch stehen), Restaurants (wir hatten viele gute dabei) und viele Shoppingmöglichkeiten, Supermärkte sind fußläufig in 2-3 Minuten zu erreichen. Lucy kümmerte sich immer liebevoll um die Zimmer und spricht auch ein wenig deutsch. Ihr Restaurant das „Nikos Family Restaurant“ können wir auch sehr empfehlen. Unser Fazit: Wir haben uns hier an diesem Ort und in der Villa Jolie so wohl gefühlt, wir kommen definitiv gerne wieder! Ich glaube alle, die auch jetzt da waren. :-) Vielen lieben Dank George, Alex und Lucy für alles!!!

Fantastic tennis court!

The hosts George and Alex where absolutely wonderful and organized everything for us. We had booked a Villa in Kassiopi but wanted to try the tennis court of Villa Jolie. Luckily for us the Villa was free for one day during our stay and we booked the court for a whole evening. The court was exactly as it looked on the pictures -just perfect. George & Alex brought us some fresh fish from the market and we all sat down for a wonderful sea food BBQ feast with a private chef. The best octopus ever!! We are most certainly booking Villa Jolie for next year.

Perfect Villa and location

Villa Jolie was perfect for our holiday of two families (4 adults 5 children) the villa is spacious and very well equipped. We enjoyed the space around the villa and played games of tennis! 2 mins walk to a lovely beach and 1 min walk to the shops/restaurants but still very private and quiet. We were a little apprehensive travelling during COVID times but George - the property manager was excellent at communicating with us and made us feel completely at ease with the measures introduced to keep guests safe. Lucy - the house manager was fabulous, the villa was spotless! We enjoyed two fabulous meals at Lucy’s restaurant- this is a must for any visitors- absolutely delicious food in a wonderful Greek family run restaurant. The children made daily trips to the il gelato - just 1 min away....delicious ice cream, waffles and pancakes! We were made to feel so welcome and George helped us book various trips and even took us to the supermarket! I would thoroughly recommend staying at Villa Jolie - it has something for everyone and Roda is a lovely small friendly town. We really hope to return one year, it has been one of our favourite holidays. Thank you villa Jolie 😀

Fantastic facilities and exceptional service

We were all more than ready for holiday after lockdown, and all the stresses of living life during a pandemic, but like many others, were very apprehensive about travelling. We were so glad we did! We all had Covid tests shortly before we arrived, so were as confident as we could be that we weren't bringing this horrible virus with us! During the booking process the manager George could not have been more polite and professional. He was patient and kind with all of our concerns, we were delighted to meet him when he was there at the airport to greet us. He arranged a very efficient transfer for us. At the villa, we met the wonderful villa hostess Lucy, who came in to clean and tidy for us every other day, which suited us perfectly. The facilities at the villa are exactly as portrayed in the photos and descriptions. It very quickly felt like a home from home for us. Roda is literally on your doorstep. We had some great meals at Lucy's family restaurant, Nikos, which we would highly recommend, excellent food and lovely, warm, friendly service. We also loved popping across the road for lunch at Yummies. We were travelling with 4 older teens, so it was wonderful for them to have the freedom to safely escape from the parents at some of the beachside bars after dinner. We have been very lucky to visit some wonderful places and I can honestly say that it is rare to experience top class service and facilities of this very high standard. We certainly hope to visit again sometime in the future and have no hesitation in recommending Villa Jolie.

Villa Jolie....Absolute heaven!!! Already booked again!!!

I have the pleasure of writing a fabulous review for the fabulous Villa Jolie at Roda. This holiday was a godsend after so long locked down due to the COVID pandemic. We were lucky to be able to fly on 18th July for 9 wonderful days and nights. All things considered we were understandably apprehensive about even being able to fulfill the booking, due to any last minute safety protocol changes. However, George our host and owner could not have been more considerate, understanding and agreeable!! So when we arrived on Corfu it was even more reassuring when he met us at the airport before our onward transfer, that he helped to organise, to the Villa. I cannot praise or thank him enough for his attentive and cheerful demeanour and help throughout our stay. Our driver, Philippas was amazing and we used his and his family business partners at Corfu Private Travel in nearby Acharavi throughout our stay. On our arrival at the Villa, which was quite late at night, it was lovely to meet Lucy, our in resort host. She explained all we needed to know with regards the Villa and in resort. Also all the extra sanitary and cleaning precautions associated with these extreme times. We could not have felt more safe and welcome. Lucy and her family own and run Nikos, a fabulous Taverna in Roda. We were so fortunate that she had arranged the kitchen open so we could order a takeaway of some amazing pizzas and pasta, delivered to the Villa by her fab boys!! These were delicious and very well received by our ravenous party of couples and our teenagers!! Lucy came to clean and change towels etc aswell, when we had requested. Understably we were happy for this every 3 days due to social distancing and reducing any possible risks to both of our families!! However, this could be more often I believe if necessary. The Villa itself is 10/10!! Spotlessly clean with all amenities you could possibly need. The floodlit tennis court and pool and jacuzzi a particular hit!! Complete with plenty of sunbeds and even a selection of pool items for the kids!! All bedrooms greatly appointed.The location is amazing!! 2 mins walk to beach and 1 minute to supermarkets/bars and restaurants and tavernas. cannot recommend the Villa Jolie enough! In terms of good impressions I think the ultimate testament has to be, that we have already booked the Villa again for next year!!! Booked with George, whilst we were still there!! I only hope we can fill it and it's available every year from now on!!

Amazing!

We had an amazing stay at Villa Jollie! We were a group of friends and really enjoyed all the comfort the villa offers. George, the house manager is an extremely nice and helpfull person! He also gave us very good tips for the island. Looking forward to come back next year!

Beautiful villa with lots to do.

Beautiful villa with lots for all the family to do. We particularly enjoyed the tennis. Easy walking distance of variety of restaurants, bars and shops.

Everything we could have wanted!

If you want the most fabulous holiday ever in Corfu this is the place to stay. We were 2 families - 7 adults & 4 teenage kids. The house was a fabulous size, every bedroom had its own bathroom, the configuration of beds was perfect. The lounge was spacious & great for the kids to hang out in when it got too hot. The pool, tennis court, ping pong table & hot tub were also all great entertainment. The house was lovely & clean and nothing was too much trouble for our lovely hosts & the fabulous Lucy. The location is perfect. Just what we were after, by the beach, in a town, secluded & safe for the younger teens to walk around on their own. We were pretty adventurous & did lots of activities - hired a yacht for the day, horse riding, hiking, cliff jumping etc. George gave us a ton of great recommendations on what to do & where to eat & we took them all! Thank you for a fabulous stay. We will be back! A special shout out to Lucy’s Fabulous family restaurant - Nikos. Great food, brilliant service & the best Greek night in town!

Great Holiday

What a beautiful Villa. Our family of 10 had plenty of space to relax. The pool for everyone was a great hit. We spent most mornings at the villa, afternoons at the various beaches. We were able to walk easily to everything we needed - markets, restaurants, beaches and stores. Lighted tennis court was a great bonus. George, Alex and Lucy were very accommodating. Our 4 children (7yr, 5yr, 3yr, 1yr) loved the villa and all of Corfu! One of them even conquered his fear of water! Thank you for providing us with so many happy family memories. We chose this villa to meet from our homes-Tewkesbury UK, Rotterdam, Pensylvania USA and Matveka New Zeland – and it was a wonderful reunion! Thank you to Lucy for your happy smile everyday and especially for our meal at your charming family restaurant. What a great holiday we look forward to returning one day!

fantastic villa Jolie, Roda

Staying at Villa Jolie has been the most relaxing holiday of our lives with every facility being catered for. George and Alex have been the most welcoming hosts and were on hand whenever needed. Lucy, who own Niko's family restaurant popped in everyday to make sure the villa was spotlessly clean for us and if we needed anything for that day. The property offers everything. If you find that it doesn't you would have to move to another planet!!! The best restaurant by far is the Nikos family restaurant. Fore crepes and sandwiches we would recommend "Yummies" which is across the street. Opposite to "Yummies" is a very nice ice cream parlour. LIE IS GOOD :)

Beautiful, well-kept, serene, spacious villa

Thank you for a beautiful stay in the villa. A special thank you to Lucy and her boys for looking after us and a fantastic Greek night at their restaurant. The villa is beautiful and is far more than we would have hoped for. We have had an amazing time in Roda and will return.

Paradise week with friends

Best moments at the Villa Jolie The Chti family where in heaven and spent a wonderful time. The sun, the tennis, the bbq, “aperitifs” and lazy moments on the sun beds..Thanks for all and special regards to Lucy for her kindly work and exchanges

It was a terrific house to relax in . Lots of spaces to spread out . Roda is unpretentious.

We were a family of 8 . The pool is superbly situated for the sunrise and sunset . It is very clean . The court is great with an astro surface. Ping pong is beside the barbeque which works very well . We used it 5 times in the week . Kitchen is well appointed . A daily help , Lucy is punctual and marvellous . Weather was mixed but warm . Roda beach is pretty ordinary but the water is divine . It's 100 yards from the house . I would go back in a flash . Great holiday . Couldn't be bettered .

The Newton's

This property is superbly cleaned daily, in an amazing location for the surroundings and is run by a warm and friendly team that cannot do enough for you. Is it perfect?, almost would be the answer. Air con awesome in every room, Bathrooms good, but a bit tight in the showers. Pool, watch the drain at the bottom of the pool, sharp edges as I found out to my cost. Kitchen and Living space - first class. Tennis court and table tennis were all excellent and used several times by myself and my boys. The spa broke down half way through the week and they could not fix it as it was waiting a part but worked beautifully before that and I am sure will be repaired very soon. Would we go again? Definitely - A great base run with pride by a great team who cannot do enough for you. Class

Even if you have the beach at 2 minutes’ walk of the villa, to dip in the pool at any time of the day is a real pleasure. Roda village and its population are very welcoming and we could recommend you some places where to eat, rent bikes/cars and have fun. George and Alex, will look after all your needs during your stay and will be your private joyful connoisseur of the island. All staff working at the villa and in our offices are locals who share the ancestral sense of “filoxenia”- hospitality.

Appart from all the amenities, the location of the Villa is one of its greatest assets. The back gate of the property will lead you straight to the main street of the village where you will find everything you need. The main gate has a private 150m road that leads right to the beach. The entire property is however fully isolated and surrounded by tall pin trees that give you all the privacy, quite and peace you need to relax during your holidays.
