Family holiday, great location

Our stay was overall lovely. The unit was clean and spacious. The cooler and beach chairs were in great shape, however we wished there was an umbrella. Location was great as it was walking distance to many shops and restaurants as well right across the street from Charlie Young Beach. The security guard at the condo made us feel uncomfortable on a few occasions. We enjoyed the ocean view. The bedroom on the main floor was quite uncomfortable on several nights, despite having multiple fans running we were unable to cool it down to sleep.

Lovely Condo, amazing location, beautiful view

The unit was very clean, pictures were accurate and it is right across the street from the beach!! Restaurant, shops, and activities all within walking distance. This unit was great for my family of 4. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pots/pans, bowls/plates & cups. Bring your own spices. Washer and dryer were great, they even provided laundry detergent and fabric softeners. **the only con was the A/C did not reach the back bedroom. Even with fans it was unbelievably hot and uncomfortable. However, we have stayed at this complex before and the way the units are set up, you cannot really put an A/C unit back there. All and all I would recommend this place.

Lovely Condo

The property is beautiful and well maintained. Flowers everywhere! The condo was perfect for the four of us. The washing machine was broken but the rental place kindly came and took our laundry away to be washed. If we needed anything, we just called or emailed and we were taken care of. We will be back!

A mixed bag...

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The ad really talked up the view from the condo, but a giant crane and a large building under construction blocked out virtually any view one might want to look at. The location was convenient, with plenty of nearby restaurants and beaches within walking distance. Unfortunately, air circulation in the bedroom is poor, annd even with the fan on and the a/c at maximum cooling, sleeping was uncomfortable because the room was so warm. A couple of oddities regarding checkin also were perplexing. Our checkin letter stated “There is assigned parking for each unit--park only in that spot”, but this was clearly incorrect information. Checkin is 4pm, but the office closes at 4pm, so security ends up being the customer interface. Finally, our kitchen had an ant problem, which was annoying, but not catastrophic. The bottom line is some good, some not so good, thus my 3 star rating.

Great trip

We had a great stay. We were disappointed the master bedroom did not have a/c. The management company brought us a box fan to help move the a/c from the living room to the master bedroom which was very helpful. My children were very comfortable in the loft upstairs.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The look and feel of the interior was classic Hawaiian. Very comfortable and clean. Great ocean view from the balcony off the living room. It’s was nice that they had a little greet package of snacks, water & coffee when we first walked in. Quite and relaxing the whole stay. Amenities like washer & dryer, refrigerator, microwave, etc. in the unit came in handy. An area of bars called “The Bermuda Triangle” was only a block away for some fun times. Beach was close as well. Kihei is a better location. Not super hot like Lahaina. Not as rural as Hana side. All pros except one con was the AC system was portable not built-in or central but the ceiling fans made it pleasant.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Review Airbnb Stayed at the condo for 5 nights and during that time several things were noticed. When we arrived the complimentary snacks which were nice had ants crawling around them and those ants continued to appear daily while attempting to cook meals. The unit is a bit outdated, rugs need a cleaning, and food was found smeared on wall near dining table. There was an issue with smoke alarm at 4:30am third night. This was resolved around 9am. Salt and pepper was provided so if you desire additional seasonings I suggest you bring. The stairs leading to loft area are narrow and difficult to maneuver large luggage up. Bring laundry detergent and fabric softener. Beds are not comfy (hard) each guest woke up complaining. Beach towels and chairs are provided. Be sure to keep close eye on portable air conditioner in loft area as the hose which collects water slipped out onto the floor once in the middle of the night. The downstairs bedroom is hot and there’s only one ac unit which runs loudly throughout the night, but never cools down the bedroom. Place is ok for island standards and close to the beach. Even with all things listed above my guest and I enjoyed ourselves.

GREAT VALUE

This property is centrally located on the island. Very easy access to any activities a person would like to do. There is a very nice beach (Charley Young) just a short walk away. The two bedrooms and 2 baths were perfect for the 4 of us. We will definitely be returning to this property.

Disappointing

Property claims room for 4 or more. Very misleading. Upstairs loft locations seemed to be a storage area for owners. It had two full size student desks and chair, no dressers. Unit was very hot, back bedroom was above 80 every day. The lanai door had a blind that was broken, so unit would get very warm. The A/C unit which was extremely loud did nothing to cool the main bedroom in the back of the condo. Kitchen area extremely small. If someone was at sink, you could not get to the refrigerator. This is not a unit I would recommend for 4 adults. Property folks did best they could and were pleasant to work with but condo extremely disappointing.

Great Location

We could walk anywhere from this location. This place was big enough for my husband and I and our two grown children. Close to many beaches and had chairs and towels for us to use. It was fairly hot in the condo, the air conditioning helped cool it down, but it never got very cool in the bedroom. Air conditioner was located in living room and the couch was blocking the air flow. We are used to cold weather so if you are from a warm state this won’t be a problem. Most residents we met said it had been very cool at night and was nice. The kitchen had everything we needed other than a can opener. Overall I would book this condo again.

Great view and location

We were two couples and we very much enjoyed the space. The location is great, across the street from a beautiful beach. The condo had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the lanai and taking in that beautiful view.

The artwork and decor throughout the condo gives one a sense of Hawaiian culture in a non-cheesy way. The owner provided a lot of extras that made our stay more enjoyable, such as beach chairs, coffee & tea, kitchenware, iron, etc. The pool key works for all three pools so one can choose whichever pool is empty. This place added to our Maui experience and we would definitely recommend it! Lots of great books too!

Good stay overall

I have stayed at the Maui Vista 3x now and love the location. Our condo was cozy and met all of our needs and the property manager was in constant communication with us throughout our nearly one month stay. We encountered a few obstacles including not being able to use the upstairs shower as the temperature was too hot. A plumber did improve the temperature but a permanent fix was still needed to have differing temps of water. Also there was a blind that was broken before we arrived and was not fixed during the duration of the stay. Normally it would not be an issue but it did let in a lot of afternoon sun and warmed up the condo forcing us to use the AC more than usual. Along those lines, the AC unit is super loud and turns on and off all day and night. Grateful to have it, just wish it was not so loud during the night or times inside when you are trying to have a conversation. Finally, the umbrellas on the balcony are falling apart and in need of replacement. All of these things did not in any way affect our amazing vacation and we would certainly stay in this unit in the future. We loved the chaise lounger on the balcony, the washer and dryer and the comfortable bedding. The place is nicely decorated and the location and views were terrific!

Well maintained complex with lovely grounds.

I have stayed at Maui Vista 3410 twice. The description is accurate. It’s quiet, clean and well-maintained, the kitchen is well stocked, there is nice comfortable furnishings throughout and it has an amazing view. The best part is the beach, just a few minutes walk away. There are many shops and restaurants close by. Would definitely book again.
