Esta unidad de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños está impecable y hermosa. Viene totalmente equipado con todas las comodidades para que se sienta como en casa. Tiene aprox. ¡1200 pies cuadrados de sala de estar más un lanai donde puedes disfrutar de tu propia barbacoa! Esta es la unidad más grande de 2 habitaciones y 2 baños en el complejo.

Love this place - second time in this unit - feels like home - would be nice to have more cooking pots and utensils, more variety in glasses bowls microwave and other cooking dishes etc - big kitchen would be easy and not expensive to fill it with kitchenware.

Great location, great space, a little outdated

Love the location and complex, very quiet, great pool and grounds. Twin beds are not great mattresses, and there is no microwave, but everything else is well stocked. There are great beach chairs, and towels.

Budget-friendly condo minutes from the beach

Broadly, our stay was enjoyable. While the condo was livable, the state of the unit reflects a home that is not used by the owner. The budget friendly price comes at a cost. Most of these costs are acceptable exactly what I expected - tired, worn out, and threadbare furniture, very old carpeting, heavy wear on walls, doors, etc. The renter provides some simple kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc. While its standard that these be on the cheap and well-used side, I was very disappointed by the physical state of these items. In particular, the knives were so dangerously dull that we stopped cooking anything entirely. Every knife was serrated, yet could barely saw through any fruit or vegetable. Cutting meat was out of the question. Pot and pan handle rivets were loose and threatening to fall off while cooking. While I recognize we were in a tropical destination, and pests are extremely difficult to do away with entirely, I have to say that I have never stayed in a property with as many insects as this one. It's fair to say that this is not the fault of Coldwell Bankers directly, but that of the condo board and property manager. However, it was very disappointing to be chasing cockroaches down every morning just to make sure they weren't getting into our breakfasts. Note - we complied strictly with the house rules to prevent this to no avail.I would hesitate to stay in this unit again until I hear that these issues have been resolved.

Needs an upgrade

It seemed very old style, like not remodeled since the 1980s. Everything needed updating including electricity and streaming ability.

good location

The interior of the condo is extremely outdated. We had a problem with ants in our kitchen even though we emptied garbage daily and kept all food in fridge and counters wiped down. The beds were very uncomfortable hard to the point where we did not sleep good at all. The AC unit in primary bedroom did not work efficiently at all. It was extremely hot in our bedroom . The main room AC worked great but the bedroom AC unit was like non existent in cooling the room. Despite texting the property manager no one showed up to fix and check the AC like we were told they would.

Great property but behind maintenance

Great location, good complex, spacious property with a great view but really dated. Also the unit is not clean enough. Specifically the floor really needs mopping, it’s dirty to the sticky level and socks turn black from walking on it. The vinyl in the kitchen just needs to go, wish I could add a photo. Some dishes/cups have cracks and chips. Sofa fabric has worn out through. It’s all easily fixable but really a full renovation wouldn’t hurt.

Disappointed

We’ve stayed in this unit many times over the past 15 years. This unit is in dire need of TLC. Almost everything is worn out couches, beds, chipped paint by the window. We paid a very high nightly rate for 2 weeks and are so disappointed in the condition of the unit. The sink is split in the main bath and almost falling off the wall, the tub was clogged, no propane tank, electric kettle broken, difficult to open kitchen window and patio doors, broken beach chairs, we just felt nickeled and dimed with the minimal and cheap items supplied in the unit for a premium price. We complained to the main property manager as well and won’t stay here again.

Great location, lovely view.

So many great things to say!! However, would suggest much better lighting, more linens, boogie boards and umbrella, kitchen consumables like Saran Wrap, oil, spices, etc., carpet cleaning, sharper knives. A bit dated but great value!! Did not get very good customer service from Coldwell Banker who manages the unit. Would stay here again.

The place is very well situated. The community is clean and quiet. The unit has a beatiful view of the ocean. Almost felt like being at a resort. The unit came with several beach accessories. The property was very clean. My advice would be that they make a few renovations to the bathrooms. Aldo, it would have been great if it came with a few seasonings and oils. Besides that, we greatly enjoy our stay at the Palms. We highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you CBIP for the wonderful time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 15 nights and loved every one of them. The condo is massive, allowing our group of 6 to easily spread out. We had a few small issues during our stay, which is normal, and wich CBIP fixed immediately. The condo does show it's age (as most rentals on Maui do), but everything works and it was very clean. If I had to make one suggestion I'd say change out the showerhead in the master 's time. Tha ks for making our stay great.

Plenty of room in the living room and bedrooms. Very nice view from the balcony. Get a very nice view of the sunset near the pool area. Room 2202 was excellent, although I did visit other condos where some of my relatives stayed and they only had air conditioning in the master bedroom. Guess not every condo has ac in each room. we got lucky with ours!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the complex was great and the views from the room beautiful, this condo could sure use some sprucing up. While the needed repairs did not hinder our stay, items of repair were certainly noticed i.e. chipped paint, scuffed walls, stained patio furniture cushions, dated carpet, dusty corners, items found under cushions, broken sink top in bathroom, sliding windows not working, uncovered electrical outlet in bedroom and dirty windows. With that being said the unit also offered many great amenities i.e. nice Lanai, big bedrooms, huge living/dining room, washer/dryer, full kitchen with everything we needed, ice maker, many extras like soap, dish soap, extra TP, extra paper towel, extra blankets, extra sheets, extra towels, six brand new beach towels, garbage bags. Nice little welcome packages with coffee, snacks and chocolates. The pros definitely outweighed the cons. The grounds were lush and very well kept and the pool was huge and not overcrowded. We chose to drive to the pool due to the proximity of our unit. Beach and restaurants are just a short drive away. Had to contact Management Company after hours upon our arrival because the unit driveway entrance is located around the corner from where google maps shows the address and they returned my call immediately and directed us right to the entrance and unit. Very helpful and so pleasant! We would definitely stay here again if we ever have the opportunity to return to Maui!

There are better units on the property

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at The Palms at Wailea 3 times. We love the location and the property. This unit was a disappointment. When we walked in the large picture window is very dirty and streaked. The unit lay out is just as we expected. The towels and bath mats are mostly old and worn looking. One had stains. The master bathroom shower had moldy grouting. The guest bathroom vanity has broken away from the wall and has a line of rust. The toilet seat in the guest bathroom looks totally worn out as does the tub/shower insert. This unit is dated, and could use a remodel. However, it would be fairly inexpensive to address the easy items like towels, bathmats and grout. I have some lovely pictures if you are interested in seeing them.

The unit is exactly the same as it was in 2014. There has been no updating. Even the small living room TV is the same.We noticed lots of ghost ants in the kitchen. We also saw cockroaches in the kitchen.We WILL NOT stay in this unit again!!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WE HAVE STAYED AT THE PALMS THREE TIMES BEFORE AND THIS TIME WE WERE GREATLY DISAPPOINTED. THE UNIT HAS TWO SHOWERS-BOTH OF WHICH WERE BROKEN AND COULD NOT BE REGULATED OR SPRAY PROPERLY. . BOTH TV SETS DID NOT OOERTE PROOELY SNNF ONE NOT AT ALL. .THERE IS A HUGE CRACK IN THE SMALLER BATHROOM'S COUNTER. THERE ARE ALMOST NO ELECTRICAL OUT LETS AND EVERYTHING HAD THE APPERANCE OF BEING RUN DOWN AND UNCARED FOR.. THE CLEANIING CREW SHOWED UP AN HOUR BEFORE OUR DEPARTURE TIME. the garbage disposal makes very loud noises and is damaged.. Considering these issues I EXPECT AND REQUEST APARTIAL REIMBURSEMENT.

First trip to Hawaii

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the place was great, but there was a couple of issues. The beds were not comfortable at all. Matter of fact they were really hard as a brick and needed to be replaced. We had bugs in the kitchen daily and there was a huge crack in the guest bathroom countertop where it was missed a quarter inch section. Other than that it was good. Just hate we didn’t rest well while in this beautiful state.
