¡Estira las piernas y siéntase como en casa en esta excelente ubicación! Disfrute de las vistas del lago Macatawa a través de las enormes ventanas en toda la casa. South Shore House es ideal para familias numerosas ya que tiene cuatro niveles de espacio habitable. La casa se encuentra a pocos minutos del centro de Holanda y Saugatuck. Está a poca distancia de un restaurante, un parque, alquiler de tablas de paddle, y una tienda de fiesta (lo que los lugareños llaman una tienda de cerveza). Extended Family Celebration

We had a wonderful time at Jennifer's home. It was clean, full of great amenities and in close proximity to many local attractions. We love the layout of the house and the large spaces for our extended family to gather.

Holland House

This experience was very family, friendly with lots to do in the area and at the house! It was prepped with all of our vacation needs! It was a very relaxing environment with many outside activities that my family enjoyed! Great hospitality and communication by the owner! We have put this house on our list to stay again in the future!

Best Home We Have Ever Rented

Great home that is fully furnished with everything needed for a wonderful vacation. Very clean and well kept. One thing to note is that it is quad level that might be a slight problem for someone who has difficulty with stairs

Fun location, lots of amenities

We enjoyed the beautiful location. The bikes, beach chairs, and firepit came in handy. We hiked and kayaked, went to the beach, and explored the shops and restaurants in Holland and Saugatuck. We cooked some meals in the well-equipped kitchen, played games and watched movies. A fun family time with our adult children and their significant others.

Excellent place to stay 100% recommend for families!’

This home is perfect for families and provides an abundance of living space and outdoor activity areas. The host is receptive and responds very quickly to any questions. The hosts have made the home so welcoming with many bikes and other outdoor activities for all ages. The welcome basket was such a nice touch. We hope to make this our annual summer vacation place to stay. You will not be disappointed staying here!!

Short vacation

The property was well kept/clean. The owner even provided some snacks, breakfast items as well as some refreshments. We were able to make s'mores in the above ground fire pit. They even supplied the firewood. I would highly recommend this place.

In Holland to visit family.

My sisters and I brought our mother to Holland to visit her sister in law. Perfect location! We found this home as advertised! Very clean, everything we needed was there! Lovely welcome basket filled with food items from Michigan and cold bottled water! It was a warm weekend!! Much appreciated!! Will definitely stay here again! thank you Jen!!!

A great place to stay in Holland

The home was spotless when we arrived. We were very impressed with the attention to little details, such as a basket of snacks on the kitchen table. The bag of beach towels was very thoughtful. We also enjoyed sitting around the fire pit. The beds were clean and comfortable. The only downside was the lower bedroom was cold and smelled mouldy. Other than that, we had a great stay.

What a wonderful experience! From the gift basket that greeted us at check-in, the very comfortable beds, the ability to spread out due to the split level design, and the beautiful setting, every expectation was met. Everyone in our party had a great time. This is one extremely well appointed house! I highly recommend it!

Great Family Vacation

The house is wonderfully laid out with many areas for conversation, games or eating. It is well furnished in a contemporary style and has equipment and games for all ages. The kitchen is large, has work space for several cooks - - has plenty of dishes, small appliances, etc. There are two outside sitting areas plus a lot of grassy area. The park nearby is well maintained, and we enjoyed watching the boats go by on Lake Macatawa. The owner was very easy to communicate with and accommodating.

Amazing host and perfect location for big families

We chose Jennifer's property because it's hard to find a home that accomodates our family for a fair price and the home was in a perfect location. When we arrived we were so humbled by the snacks the host left us and the kids immediately were delighted to see the windmill cookies their grandparents used to give them and all of the little things the host considered a family would need. It made us feel welcomed. We were so busy we forgot to sign the guest book but that was a great idea. We were also surprised that the home had so many activities including bikes for the kids. It really gave us the quality and relaxation time with the kids during Father's Day. Jennifer is the best host we have come by so far.

Comfortable, Well-Stocked Home

Our extended family of six (my husband and me, our daughter and son-in-law, and grandchildren ages 9 and 11) enjoyed our week on the south shore of Lake Macatawa in Holland. All we had to bring was our food and clothes; everything else was provided in the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry area, and patio. The garage held quite a few bicycles, helmets, and yard games along with beach chairs and an umbrella. Jen, the host, responded very quickly to our questions. When our first day and night felt uncomfortably warm, we were concerned about the home's lack of central air conditioning; however, temperatures dropped in subsequent days and the two stand-alone cooling units combined with the ceiling fans in every room kept us fairly comfortable with our bedroom doors open at night. All in all, it was a fun week for us.

Outstanding experience at perfect property

Can’t say enough about how great a place this was for our family to get together—the different living, playing, and dining areas gave us all space to spread out and catch up in comfort and relaxation. Birthday Celebration Weekend

The weekend was meant as a long weekend getaway with friends to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The home was excellent for the occasion. Originally there were to be 4 couples but one had to drop out last minute. The accommodations were perfect for the 6 of us and could have easily and comfortably accommodated the 4th couple if they had come. The house was well kept, clean, plenty of kitchen ware which was great because our group of friends love to cook when we get together like this. The location was perfect for quick visits to downtown, the girls love to shop. And us guys love to watch them shop and from time to time slip away into a local pub for a pint or two. Last but not least, the host, Jen, was fabulous. Very friend, responsive knowledgeable of the area and flexible with the check in and check out process. I highly recommend you rent this property if you’re planning a trip to Holland, MI. and need space for a large group or family. Thanks again Jen, Jim

Friends Trip to Ottawa Beach

Growing up, my family often visited western Michigan to see relatives. We used to make a trip to Holland and Ottawa beach for a day or two and enjoyed being on lake. Now, at 30, I thought it would be a good trip with friends to hang out and relax. The house and host (Jen) were fantastic. The house was well kept, very clean, and a great location. Check in and out were supremely easy and Jen was very responsive to questions. In addition, Jen left our group a wide array of local staples which ranged from 12 local craft beers and a bottle of wine to a bag of gourmet potato chips. Lastly, the house also supplied every lawn game imaginable, which we took full advantage of. She went above and beyond and I highly recommend staying at this property to anyone looking to relax near Lake Michigan Thanks Jen!

Wonderful stay in Holland, MI

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Jennifer's home. Jennifer is very responsive and a terrific host. The home is lovely and perfect for families. There were toys for our toddlers, lots of space inside, and great outdoor space to hang out. The location is beautiful, right across from Lake Macatawa. Holland State Park and Cranes Orchard are awesome nearby visits. We hope to visit again!

We loved staying at the S Shore house. The place was welcoming and immaculate when we arrived. Jen provides lots of amenities and we felt so comfortable the entire time we were there. This house is perfect for families with small children.

Wonderful home

We had a wonderful stay with our 1-year old and some extended family. Jennifer’s home was comfortable, super clean, and in a great location. We walked to the local bar/grill for dinners and had several trips into Holland, as well as daily beach trips. I would highly recommend this home for a family trip!

lovely wedding weekend trip

Our family really enjoyed our recent stay at this property. The location is in a good neighborhood, the house is very clean, well organized, and it looks exactly as the photos in VRBO website. We're able to find basic things that we need in the kitchen (cooking and eating utensils, cleaning supplies), laundry room (iron, etc), bathroom, and more. Jen also responded promptly to any of my questions before and during the stay. The house book guide/ manual was helpful and we also appreciate the basic complementary items that are available when we first got there (e.g. bottles of water, OJ, eggs, fruits...). We had a lovely experience and definitely will consider this property when we come back in the future. Thank you for your hospitality!

I was born and raised in Holland, Michigan and have lived in the area for most of my life. I live in town with my husband, two daughters, and our German Shepherd Dog Sophia. The South Shore house was originally my grandparents and has been in the family for over 40 years. It has been a home filled with laughter, great conversations, and a lot of love. Now the house is dedicated to travelers and welcomed guests. We occasionally stay there from time to time to enjoy it. I truly hope that you and your family will create wonderful memories of your own there too!
