We enjoyed our stay

The House and property worked well for our family trip. We loved the close proximity to the beaches. My personal favorite was the State park beach that we could walk to as I loved the beautiful hike. The beds were very comfortable. We hope to stay there again.

I can’t say enough good things about this place and the hosts. The house and the yard are very spacious and is very well appointed and very clean. If you’re having an event at the Felt, this is the perfect place to stay. We loved it!

Beautiful, peaceful stay in perfect location

The property was as described & worked perfectly for our family of 4. It was very clean & well-stocked. We loved being able to leave the windows open while having total privacy due the trees, and the wraparound deck was ideal for stargazing, morning coffee, doing puzzles & more. It was hard to leave & we can’t wait to return soon!

Perfect house for family vacation

The home had everything we needed! Kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of beach chairs for us to use. The house was very clean and comfortable. The location of the home was perfect. Just a quick drive to the Saugatuck Dunes. We will definitely stay here again if we are coming to Saugatuck!

Family Week

We love staying at the Treehouse. This is our second family vacation here, and we’ll be back again next year! The location is clean, comfortable, and well stocked with necessities as well as unexpected extras. The travel time to the beach, restaurants, Saugatuck downtown, Holland-everything we wanted to do, was short, which is a plus with children. We love getting to know the area with the Treehouse as home base!

Family Vacation

This was our third year staying at the Treehouse. The location is great for accessing the area. The house is well appointed with kitchen supplies, and plenty of space for dining with our family of 8. Towels and bathroom supplies were plentiful too. Beach towels and chairs are available too so you don’t have to lug, or rent items. There is plenty of space so everyone isn’t on top of each other which is really nice with children in the group. The Treehouse is our home away from home!

Wonderful R&R at the Treehouse

We spent a week at this home with our adult children. It provided the perfect spot to meet for some rest and relaxation. We loved the layout of the house and also loved being able to grill or eat out in nearby Holland, Douglas, or Saugatuck. The super convenient location also allowed us all to venture out to explore the activities that fit each of our interests - golf, art, vineyards, the beach, walking/hiking, and the waterfront. And we all agreed that one of the best features of the house was that it gave us permission to just not do anything and rest! The deck became a favorite place for reading and the hammock for just hanging out, and the area was so peaceful and quiet. Finally, we loved the fire pit & making s'mores! We highly recommend a stay at this property!

Great location, peaceful

This was our second year vacationing in this area of Michigan. The first time, we stayed closer to town in Saugatuck. This time, we chose this property out closer to Saugatuck dunes. While I loved both, I cannot say enough great things about this place. It was very easy to get to Saugatuck, walking distance to the dunes, and closer to Holland. We also love the outdoor discovery center, which is minutes away by car. The property itself was so nice. Anything you needed was there. This home had the most well-stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen from a vacation rental, and all the little details have been thought through. I have never been somewhere that had as much firewood as this place either. It felt private, but close to everything. My family really enjoy this place.

Excellent Stay! We loved this house! Treetops was the best!

Catherine has thought of everything when it comes to this house! We were here for my Mom's 80th birthday. The house had enough beds for everyone and plenty of space to visit, play games and just relax. The neighborhood is quiet, the yard is big, my grandchildren had plenty of space to run around outside. The deck and the porch underneath the deck and the fire pit were great. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The beds were super comfortable and very nice. The location was convenient to stores and restaurants and the beach. I just can't say enough good things about Treetops! If we ever have another family gathering in this area we will DEFINITELY stay here again. As we left, my Mom, sister and I all looked back longingly and said at the same time: I don't want to leave! :)

Awesome rental house

We loved our stay at this VRBO. The house was as stated, and had everything we needed --- and then some! The owners were always quick to reply with any questions we had prior to our visit. The location was central to many other places we wanted to see. And, very close to a great beach, where there was free parking. The neighborhood was very quiet (especially more so after we left...) The yard was fantastic for the balloon/water fights we had. Loved sitting out every morning having coffee on the deck. Every time we drove to the nearby beach, we saw deer with fawns and many wild turkeys. I don't think we ever even turned the TV on - that's a win! My grandson loved Alexa and repeatedly had her play Jingle Bells. Kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils etc. Nice beach chairs and towels were provided too, which was great. There was plenty of room on upper and lower deck areas for our group of 8. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone planning a trip to the Holland/Saugatuck area. And, if you need ice cream while there, be sure to stop by Dairy Dayz, but order a smaller size than you would normally - they have HUGE portions!

Cleanest cosy vacation rental!

We decided to book this house for a couples get away and we absolutely loved it! First, let me start by saying this is the cleanest vacation rental I have ever stayed in. We have traveled a ton, (all over the world) and this home takes the prize. Absolutely immaculate. Gorgeous landscaping with potted plants. The house was extremely cozy and everything you would want for a Lake Michigan getaway. There was plenty of space for 4 couples and the house was very well stocked. We really enjoyed sitting out on the Adirondack chairs, on the deck, and relaxing on the comfy couches in the living room. The location of the house was the perfect location for exploring Saugatuck, Holland and Douglas. We also loved the proximity to the beautiful state park. I will mention it is a bit of a hike to the lake through the woods. Probably, from the parking lot, just under a mile. If you have small children this could be tiresome, but we really enjoyed the wooded walk that brought us to the sand dunes and lake. One of my favorite things. A must do in Saugatuck is renting a donut boat on the river. So much fun during the sunset hours. Our trip couldn’t have gone smoother and we would absolutely rent this house again. Definitely felt like a home away from home. Thank you for your hospitality.
