Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is great, with a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The house is beautiful and was perfect size for our family of five. Communication with the host was super easy. Would definitely come back again.

The house was wonderful and was so well equiped with the things such as beach chairs and body boards that we could take to the beach. There was an abundance of towels both beach towels and regular towels. Most importantly, the houe was very clean.

Family Vacation

This is the second time we have stayed at this house. It is perfect for multiple families staying at one time. Plenty of space for the adults to hang out in the living room and the kids all upstairs in the other living room area. Walking distance to the beach and downtown too.

Solid choice, great location

Property was in great condition. Pictures are very accurate. Within walking distance to everything the tow/beach offers. Very quaint coastal town. Jana was so kind in accommodating to my family. Made a great impression. Would book this property again when we come back. Great property, fantastic host.

Wonderful Rental

This house was so great, we can’t recommend it enough! Very clean and tidy. Very comfortable with lots of spaces to both mingle and have some personal space. Great kitchen. Lots of outside patios and decks. Comfortable beds and couches. Location is perfect for short walk to beach or to shops and restaurants. One of our best rental experiences in 20 years. We will definitely go back!

Nice house but poor communication

The house was really nice and in a convenient location close to shops and restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. The house was well stocked and had plenty of outdoor seating. There was a fire feature on the roof but no directions with how to find the switch to turn it on. The second day we were there the water was turned off without notice and was out for at least 7 hours. There was construction going on in the neighborhood and notice was given 4 days prior but this was not communicated to us. Extremely disappointing and inconvenient. On the 2nd to last day the keypad was cleared and our code no longer worked. It had been mistakenly cleared so yet again i had to call the rental agency to get in. These two instances showed poor communication on the part of the rental company.

Our stay in Cayucos

Had a lovely visit. Enjoyed the house very much. A couple things hist might want to consider addressing.. 1)the TV controller upstairs in the lounge area doesn't work. Couldn't turn the game up or down or even shut the TV off. Had to unplug it to do that. 2) Should really get some coasters to help guest avoid leaving rings on the furniture from hot coffee cups or cold drinks

Great location for a family gathering

Cayucos is a great, laid-back place to stay, and this house aligns with that vibe. Well-appointed, clean, and a very quick and safe walk to a great beach and restaurants.

Cayucos Beach House

Very comfortable overall, check-in/out process was easy, management was excellent with communication, bathrooms are small-ish and upstairs bath is a shared jack & jill style. Easy walk (a block, if that) to the main thoroughfare with shopping and dining, and just another block to the beach.

Beach life!

This place was amazing! Exactly as described, very clean, well stocked and great location. Lots of patios and plenty of room for the 6 of us. The dual living rooms was perfect when we couldn't decide what to watch together!! You will definitely not be disappointed.

Very comfortable home

We had a great family vacation and enjoyed the well-equipped home. The upstairs deck is a great place to hang out and play games and see the ocean and Cayucos Pier. Nice place.

Close to the beach

The house was very spacious and only a few blocks from the beach. Check in and check out we’re easy. Our stay was very relaxing, and we look forward to staying again.

Great Location

Just a 2 minute walk to the beach and shops, great location. Beds were very comfortable and house was very nicely laid out, kitchen is very well stocked. A very comfortable home.

Comfortable and great location

Super convenient and comfortable!

We were more than happy with the house for the almost two weeks that we stayed there. Highlights include: the sunken living room with fireplace, plus extra living/fire place upstairs, the sundeck with gorgeous views and sunsets, and fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed. The location is excellent, it's quiet but just a couple blocks to the beach and a slew of restaurants and cafes nearby to pick up or dine in for brunch, lunch and dinner. We particularly liked the Smokehouse (for tacos and smoked fish), Hidden Kitchen (for blue corn tacos and mimosas), Luna Coffee Bar, and Brown Butter Cookies. Cayucos Beach is small but kid friendly. We took our one year old on the swings daily. My husband was using a knee scooter while we were there, and it was easy to navigate around downtown and even along the beach boardwalk to the pier. Morrow Beach is also really close by and that offers miles of beach to walk. It's also a great location from which to go see the surrounding area, we visited Morrow Bay (10 mins drive) a couple of times and Los Osos (15 minutes). This is a great house in a great location, and I would highly recommend it to others seeking a quiet but convenient getaway.

Wonderful Christmas Getaway!!!!

My family and I had a great time in Cayucos! The house was better than advertised. Rooms were huge, open concept on 1st floor allowed us to be together while eating, cooking, watching Christmas movies, and playing games. It was nice having an additional living room on the 2nd floor with enough comfortable seating for 6-8 adults. Home was very clean, beds comfortable, and well stocked. The beach is 2 blocks away, and there is a view of the ocean from the upper deck. There was several areas with outdoor patio/yard seating. Some cute little shops (antiques, Brown Butter Cookie Co.) and restaurants on Ocean Blvd. The food at the Hidden Kitchen was really good! Great working with Jana for this vacation rental! Hope to return in the summer.
