Venga y disfrute de unos días de magia en nuestro Barra Villa Resort, que es muy conocido por su ambiente sofisticado y lúdico. El complejo consta de 8 hermosos apartamentos y estudios.

Al descansar en el dormitorio o la sala de estar, puede disfrutar de la hermosa vista de nuestro jardín tropical. Por la noche, algunas luces inusuales iluminarán este estudio y podrá relajarse mientras mira una película en el televisor de pantalla plana o mientras escucha música en el estéreo de alta gama.

La cocina es bastante espaciosa y ofrece espacio suficiente para cocinar cómodamente.

Would have been nice to have extra pillows and toiletries. Wish bedroom had a door. Floors uneven and renovating unprofessionally done. Heated pool was nice and the reason we chose this Vrbo over a newer one.

Thank you for your feedback! Villa Barra is a typical old town villa, where uneven, creaky floors are part of the style. As stated in the advertisement, we provide toiletries for the first few days, and you can see from the pictures that there is no bedroom door there. Pillows and blankets are in the closet. Otherwise, we always ask that you let us know if anything is missing and we will take care of it.

Dead cockroach on the floor and wouldn't give refund told us it was unreasonable we wanted to leave because of a dead roach.

Florida has a tropical climate, where insects and cockroaches may occasionally appear even with regular cleaning and professional pest control—as mentioned in the listing and pre-arrival information. This was not an infestation, so such an isolated incident does not qualify as grounds for a refund. We regret that you left immediately, as our team would have responded promptly and offered a solution.

Super location

it has the feeling of a summer resort cottage. The suite was well equipped and comfortable. Easy access to Hwy 41 made exploring other ares simple by car. we would return.

Great rental

This studio worked out great for my stay as it was perfectly sized for 1 or 2 people. It was clean and stocked with all the necessities. Only problem I had was getting TV to work but didnt need it :)

Thanks again for your booking, for being our guest and for your feedback. Even though we are of the opinion that you don't necessarily need a TV during your holidays and would rather enjoy life outside and the sun ;) we know that it is necessary that our TVs have to be replaced bit by bit and are already working on it. Super convenient

A great small apartment, a swimming pool, and a kitchen that was well equipped, where we were able to prepare our own meals. The property was accessible to downtown, groceries, beaches, restaurants, the Coastal Dayz Brewery, Edison Ford Estate. Almost anything we wanted, even near the Twins practice facilities. We also loved the ease of parking our car.

We have just checked the advertisement description again. This description clearly states that it is a studio apartment in a resort with a total of 8 apartments which is located on the second floor of one of the buildings. Probably there was simply a misunderstanding here because guests often read numerous ad descriptions and send inquiries before a particular accommodation is booked. However, we still thank you for your review of our "Studio Orlando" in Fort Myers.

The studio apartment "Studio Orlando" that you booked has so-called room or window ac units that always ensure sufficient cooling of the apartment. Overall we liked the apartment and location. We will be back.

The property is very nice and in a nice neighborhood. We enjoyed the pool and front porch. Apartment was big enough for me and my husband. Bathroom shower floor looked like it had a rust stain that should be taken care of. There wasn't any cereal/soup bowls so we bought 2 at Walmart and left them for others to use. Overall we liked the apartment and booked it again for next year and my sister and her husband booked the apartment across the hall for the same time next year. We also liked walking distance to Publix grocery store and 1 mile from Downtown area.

A Cozy Option

This apartment was a cozy place to come back to each night after working all day on Hurricane Ian recovery of our own place that had been flooded by the water surge! The apartment gave us a place to do our dirty laundry, take a nice hot shower and get a good night sleep in a comfortable bed, with an adequate kitchen to fix our own meals when we wanted to. Renters should pay attention to the fact that at the end of a tiring day, there are many steps to get upstairs to the apartment. Another time I’d opt for the downstairs apartment. Studio Orlando met our needs very well!

perfect location, older home

There is no better location in Fort Myers than Barra Villa. It’s in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood bordering on the Edison Park neighborhood, both very safe. It’s easy walking distance to the vibrant River District in downtown Fort Myers (lots of restaurants & shops) and the Edison & Ford Winter Estates (worth a visit). The pool is wonderful—very refreshing on a hot day. Barra Villa 1, which has been converted into five apartments has been around awhile, however, so don’t expect modern conveniences. There is no central air, but the two room AC units in our apt kept everything nice and cool, after we got the place cooled down. (When you arrive, turn on the AC and walk over to the Coastal Dayz Brewery for a cold beer or two and then dinner downtown. The apt will be cooled by the time you get back.) And the water pressure in the shower is a bit low; that and the hard water makes it difficult to rinse shampoo out of your hair! Also, noise travels through walls, but fortunately during our stay we didn’t hear anything after 10:00 or in the early mornings. And there will be bugs—mostly just sugar ants, so very manageable. Studio Orlando is three rooms: bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. The photos are a bit confusing; I thought the two armchairs & TV were in a fourth room, but they are in the bedroom, which was fine for just the two of us. And the kitchen had everything we needed, although breakfast was the only meal we cooked there. The queen bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of bed linens, clean towels, clothing storage space, and hangers in the closet. Thank you for making Barra Villa available to us!

Always a great stay!

This was my third time staying at this house. Each time we have arrived to find a clean, tidy space to stay. The pool on the property has been nice and clean each time we’ve stayed as well. There is a washer and dryer on site too. The area the house is located is a nice quiet area with a short commute to downtown Fort Myers. Great communication with the property managers! Of course we will be back.

Clean, quaint and great location

Booked five rooms for a family getaway and had an amazing time! Rentals were perfect and allowed us to all stay together yet have separate space. The pool was heated and AWESOME! We even were able to BBQ twice. I would definitely recommend Barra Villa Resort.
