Acabamos de terminar una renovación interior completa en el interior, en 2018. El entorno en Bass Lake es hermoso y relajante. La casa tiene 3 dormitorios, 2 baños y se siente como nuevo por dentro. Bass Lake es un lago deportivo de 365 acres. Los amaneceres de la mañana son perfectos mientras toma su café del porche junto al lago. Ase a la parrilla sus comidas favoritas desde nuestra terraza trasera, o visite los muchos restaurantes locales. Nunca se preocupe por las comodidades porque esta cabaña tiene de todo. Cable, Wi / Fi, lavadora / secadora / aire acondicionado. Estará cerca de bodegas, cervecerías, tiendas locales, varios campos de golf, el centro de TC y el icónico Village at Grand Traverse Commons. We had the most wonderful stay. The home was clean and the property was beautiful! We explored nearby towns and the kids had an excellent time out on the water! Bass Lake was stunning, especially during sunset/sunrise. The Hosts were exceptional! We cant wait to hopefully come back!

This place was fantastic! It is only 10 minutes from traverse City, but you feel like you’re very secluded. We loved the kayaks and all of the amenities. The lake is absolutely beautiful and clear. We enjoyed grilling and the awesome kitchen where we made several of our meals. This cottage has been completely updated and was very comfortable and inviting! There are also so many fun things to do in the surrounding area. We also enjoyed a couple of fires at the fire pit. The screened porch was a huge plus for us as we loved getting up in the morning and watching the sunrise with our coffee. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Excellent rental. Owner was very responsive. Cabin was clean and had many extras such as stands for the luggage. We enjoyed the kayaks and rowboat. Close to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear dunes. Would definitely stay again.

This property was perfect for a quiet lake stay while still close enough to Traverse City for day trips. The screened porch and backyard areas were great. The owners were very responsive.

We enjoyed our stay in this very cute and clean cottage with pretty views of Bass Lake. The living room/open kitchen area, screened porch, and master bedroom are spacious. The other two rooms are cozy and well appointment. The bathrooms are clean and have good showers. We had fun with the kayaks and paddle boat, and swimming in the lake. Dean and Renee are very responsive hosts. It's also a good location from which to visit nearby sights like amazing Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Good ice cream places nearby.

Our stay was amazing. Very quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed being by the water, kayaking and evening fires. House very clean and equipped very well. Havent stayed many places that supply as much as this property does. Highly recommend.

Meeting Our Grandson for the First Time

The house is super clean and comfortable. The weather turned out dreary and windy so we didn't get a chance to get out on the water, but we did spend quite a bit of time on the covered porch. In particular the first night a storm blew in after dark. We stayed out on the porch and listened to the rain and watched an incredible lightning show over the water as we caught up with each other's lives over the time we hadn't seen each other.The time it took to travel to Traverse City was shorter than we thought it would be. Part of that was there wasn't much traffic yet since we were there before Memorial Day. Overall our primary reason for staying at this home was to have time to visit with our son, daughter-in-law and our new grandson (that was roughly between both states where we are each living), and the Bass Lake house was a wonderful and comfortable place to do that.

Girls trip

The house was just as advertise. Located right on the water. They had kayaks we used and a peddle boat was also available. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and silverware. We had a lovely stay and would stay again.

Wonderful September mini vacation

We had great weather and were able to take full advantage of the kayaks and rowboat. The cottage was clean and well equipped, including wood for a fire. There was a spectacular sunrise to start the day. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Lake Cottage

This is our second year visiting this lovely cabin on Bass lake. It is comfortable, always perfectly clean, well stocked kitchen and free use of kayaks that we used every day. It is only 20 minutes into Traverse City. A quiet location in a lovely area of Michigan. We recommend it highly!

Wonderful stay!

We loved staying at this rental! Very clean, well stocked with all kitchen supplies, towels, and even extra things like coloring supplies for the kids. All the outdoor items provided like kayaks, lounge chairs, firewood, etc were great! The street is quiet and we enjoyed the neighbors we met. The only downside was some of the curtains don’t block much light so bring your own if you need complete darkness for sleeping. Looking forward to staying here again !

Great location. Perfect for families.

We have stayed in several VRBO properties and this was by far one the best properties we have visited. House was clean and well stocked. Location was far enough outside of town for peaceful relaxation yet close enough to everything. Would highly recommend this property.

Great cottage

We had a wonderful time, the cottage was perfect for our family. The lake is beautiful and the kids loved playing in the water. The dock was easy to tie our boat to. The screened in porch was definitely our favorite place. We can't wait to be back next year!

Relaxing

My husband and cousin stayed here for several days, and used the cottage as a base for visiting local wineries. The cottage was very clean and well appointed. Lots of amenities, and not just one roll of toilet paper! It probably was the most well equipped of any VRBO unit that I’ve ever stayed in. The highlight of the cottage was the screened in back deck that overlook looked a tranquil lake. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening drinks out on this deck. We also enjoyed watching the local geese and ducks. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs to place to stay up in the Traverse City area. We hope to return again, someday.

Great property. Nice house. 2 suggestions...put a hand rail. on the stairs going down to the lake. Also put higher wattage lamps in the bedrooms. It's difficult to read in bed. Otherwise it was wonderful staying there.

Great view

The property is in a great location, and easy to communicate with the owners. It is very clean and well appointed inside, which makes for a comfortable stay. The access to water is easy and the listening yo the loons is enjoyable. Overall, it is great for the family and recommend.

Brand new interior is clean & comfy ( new LVT flooring through-out, new stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops & tiled baths )
The lakeside screened deck is just a wonderful space to enjoy.
The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Near the end of the lake road so no traffic sounds just local paved road usage.
Ideal location to do a variety of afternoon or day trips then come back to a relaxing view of the lake.
