Situado en un pequeño pueblo en el corazón de una zona rica en descubrimientos turísticos, granero totalmente renovado se ha convertido en una casa de campo, donde lo antiguo y lo moderno se mezcla armoniosamente con las viejas piedras rústicas y confort moderno. Finalmente, para el placer de los ojos, el enorme ventanal se abre en el horizonte verde. La piscina cubierta climatizada es divertido y relajante, y nuestra pollos, caballos y asnos hará las delicias de los niños.

Wonderful short stay

Chose this accommodation to wind down after a hectic visit to Disney Land Paris and it didn’t disappoint. Perfect for the children who were captivated by the chickens, geese, donkey and the horse. They couldn’t wait each morning to feed the Donkey thier carrot! The pool was lovely for the children to enjoy at will. The grounds were the perfect size for the little ones to explore in safety. The accommodation appealed to both adults and children, beautifully converted farm building. Had a lovely visit to Caen, 40min drive then 10mins further to reach the beautiful historic beaches. Would highly recommend.

Erholsamer Normandie Urlaub

Wir verreisten als Familie und haben den Aufenthalt bei Martine sehr genossen. Sie hat uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheissen und uns das ganze Anwesen gezeigt. Der Pool und das Anwesen ist so wie beschrieben. Die Lage ruhig, Traktorenlärm und Hahnengeschrei am Morgen gehört dazu zum Landleben. Störte uns nicht. Im Haus gibt es alles, was man braucht und Martine hilft schnell, falls etwas fehlt. Die Begrüßung war, wie gesagt sehr freundlich, die Kommunikation sehr unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Einziges Manko, im Haus gibt es viele Spinnen und Spinnenweben in allen Ecken. Die Bäder waren sauber . In der Küche könnte nachgebessert werden. Im nahegelegenen Ort ca. 5 km weiter findet sich alles, was man zum Leben braucht - Montags morgens sollte man unbedingt auf diesen sensationellen Markt gehen, der da schon seit 1000 Jahren jeden Montag abgehalten wird. Von Courcy aus, erreicht man per Auto schnell die wundervolle Landschaft des Cidre Anbaugebiets, Falaise ist das Zentrum der Normandie. Auch ans Meer ist es nicht weit. Wir fanden die Lage hervorragend! Herzlichen Dank Martine, das Haus ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und auch der Garten mit Pool wunderschön!

Viel Natur gibt es auch in Europa

Warum in die Ferne reisen, wenn das gute liegt so nah? Selten viele Tiere gesehen, sowohl auf dem Gelände als auch in der Umgebung. Erholung pur im Pool oder mit einem Buch in der Hand. Der sonst ersehnte Fernseher ist vollkommen überflüssig. Herzliche Gastfreundschaft, und beste hofeigene Eier gibt es gratis. Lecker!

Perfekter Osterurlaub

Wir haben eine Woche der Osterferien in dem wunderschönen Ferienhaus verbracht und können es nur weiterempfehlen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Haus ist sauber, geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Wir haben gemütlich auf der Terrasse in der Sonne gelegen und auch den gepflegten Pool genutzt. (Den Jacuzzi hätten wir ebenfalls nutzen können.) Der Garten ist ein Traum und wir hatten Spaß daran, die Hühner und Gänse zu beobachten. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind sehr gut und auch Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung sind gut zu erreichen. Eine Parkmöglichkeit ist vorhanden. Unser E-Auto konnten wir an einer nahe gelegenen Ladesäule aufladen.

Wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohlgefühlt

Die Gastgeber waren überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus war sehr sauber und geräumig. Es war alles so, wie beschrieben war. Der Garten sehr gepflegt, der Pool und Jakuzi sauber und betriebsbereit. Es würden uns sogar zwei Ventilatoren bereitgestellt, da es in der zweiten Woche sehr heiss wurde. Alle Ausflüge welche wir uns vorgenommen haben könnten durchgeführt werden. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region sind gut ausgeschildert und können als Tagesausflug gut erreicht werden. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ausgezeichnet. Wir können dieses Objekt sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Great Holiday

This is a lovely house. The owners are very welcoming and on hand if you need anything. The grounds and gardens are wonderful. The pool was brilliant and having the cover on is such a bonus. If the weather isn't great it keeps the breeze off so the kids still enjoy splashing around. Ideal for a relaxing holiday. Love the chickens too!

We didn't want to leave!

We had a great stay at this property - we loved the property, the area and the hosts! The property itself was wonderfully decorated with unique, but useful, pieces of furniture - I came away with lots of ideas for my own home! It was very clean, and we immediately felt at home. It was lovely having a view of green fields from both downstairs and upstairs, helping us to feel relaxed. The grounds are lovely, with varying animals on site. My son loved the chickens who came to watch him eat or look at him through the window - now we are home I think he misses them! On site, there was an excellent pool that could both be indoor or outdoor, great idea! There was also table tennis, petanque (boules) and swings/slides. We also had our own patio area with gas bbq and table/chairs, sunloungers. The village of Courcy is small but lovely - there is a bar, and a castle along with really nice buildings - just going for a walk was relaxing. Martine and Michel were great hosts, and made us feel very welcome, doing anything they could to help us and our baby. Normandy surpassed our expectations - there are great chateux and places to visit, and its very easy to drive around. Camembert is about 30 minutes away, and the castle of William the Conqueror in Falaise (20mins) is well worth a visit. We had such a nice holiday, we didn't want to come home. We hope to return some time soon! Thanks Martine and Michel for a great stay

Great accomodation, peaceful location

Family of 5 stayed for 2 weeks at La Grange. Accommodation is roomy and has all you need, kitchen well equipped, outside barbecue, pool is great and garden has games for the kids and room to roam around. Using two or all three of the Gites would work well for family or friends. Location is remote, there are nice towns nearby but not overflowing with restaurants. Liseiux is a bigger town with lots of choice. As mentioned owners are lovely people and really helpful. Great area for cycling, take the bikes! Highly recommended.

Great place and very friendly owners

The Grange which we stayed in, was finished to a high standard and has all the conveniences that you need. The bedrooms are a good size and decorated very nicely. The pool was great for the children, they spend a lot of time in the pool. There are some outdoor games and the garden is great for children. Across the road there is a little epicerie that we went to every morning to buy our baguettes. The children really enjoyed that. There are supermarkets in St Pierre sur Dives, and also a very nice market, which is worth a trip. The holiday let is in a nice rural location, very nice and quiet but it is very easy to get to the main road to travel on from there. This is a very nice holiday let. The owners are very friendly and really try to make you feel at ease and if you need any advise they are always willing to help. We can highly recommend this place.

Great people, great country, great apartment

We had a wonderful time in the beautiful country of France. The apartment is really nice with much room and comfort. The view is beautiful, a donkey and a horse just in front of us... a nice bottle of wine and some good cheese from the near camembert. This is what a vacation is all about. The weather was good and hot and on top of this small hill the soft wind was our best friend. Laying in the swimming pool reading a book and enjoying the small birds that visited the pool for a short drink. We and the two girls had a fantastic time. Together with the atmosphere of Normandy and the nice restaurants it's a reason to go back. Thanks Martine and Michel.
