Barbara and Michael moved to St. Croix in 1997 where they met at the local dive shop. They moved onto the property in 1998 and rented one of the units. After gettin hitched in 2001 they purchased the property and moved to the main house and started renting out the rest of the units. Barbara is a talented artist and has spent most of her time adding to the beauty of the island by painting over 150 murals and hundreds of original paintings. Michael is a Jack of all trades specializing as a 100 ton USCG licensed charter boat captain, property manager, video photographer, and Barbara's sherpa. They live on the property with their two amazing boys and three dogs.

This property is unique because it is on one of the highest elevations on St. Croix. It is nestled in the rain forest and overlooks the North Shore and Northern Leeward Islands. On a clear day you can see St. Thomas, St. John, Tortola, Virgin Gorda, and Jost Van Dyke. The interior is decorated with Barbara's amazing art work. The property is on the mountain above five restaurants each having its own unique menu. The cottage is just 5 minutes away from the amazing Cane Bay Beach. The diving and snorkeling is spectacular with a 3200' wall just 100 yards from shore. Two beach bars with great foos and a full service dive shop are right across the street from the beach.

Michael has worked in the tourism industry on St. Croix for twenty two years. When it comes to making guests feel welcome, he has skills. Eight years as a bartender, he can teach you numerous drinks you can easily create and recipes to take home to share. He is a retired PADI dive instructor with over 5000 dive on St, Croix alone. If you are a diver or want to try it, his knowledge of the dive shops and dive sites is unparalleled. He currently works as a captain for Big Beards Adventure tours which is rated as the number one thing to do on St. Croix on Trip Advisor.
