Really great home!

Really great location and fantastic cottage. Note that none of the main rooms are air conditioned, just the bedrooms however is a beautiful space to stay at.

A lovely week in Provence

We had the most fabulous time, with access to this amazing home, the pool and the overall space. Very spacious, and well set up, and location with easy access to nearby towns and villages. The home is super clean and well managed and the hosts we easy to access for any questions and requests. Will definitely stay again!

We were a group of 6 women who thoroughly enjoyed ‘this comfortable home and convenient location 5-10 minutes out of St. Remy. The home is located off the road, down a drive behind another home which provided extra privacy. It was reasonably equipped with cooking utensils, pots and pans and even a few staples such as cooking oil and spices. The location provided easy access to other towns such as Gordes , Arles, Avignon etc. we would definitely stay here again.

Solid place near St. Remy

Despite being just outside of walking distance from St. Remy (with the heat) the location is outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the air conditioned bedrooms were wonderful. Although the owner told us the property was enclosed, there is a big gap that leads to the neighbors (with two dogs). So if you are bringing a dog, you need to keep it leashed outside. The owners were very attentive but we were left a little frustrated when they wouldn’t help resolve an issue with a package being delivered to the locked mailbox. Not a huge issue, just frustrating. Overall, a very nice house and excellent for large groups.

Thank you very much for your positive message. We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay. We do everything we can to welcome our guests. We will find a solution quickly regarding access to the mailbox. Regarding dogs, the garden is surrounded by hedges, but there is a passage at the bottom of the garden to the neighbors' house. This hasn't been a problem so far, and we don't keep our dog on a leash.

Vacation with young children

We spent a very nice holiday at this house with two families with young kids. The pool is very good and nicely heated all the time. It also provides a broad step where young children can play. The house was very nice, well equipped, comfortable and provided a lot of space. Good thing the rooms were also equipped with A/C! We had a small issue with the hot water, which was fixed by the owner in only 30 min. Response time was incredibly quick. I would recommend the owners to invest in a stronger WiFi network (if at all possible of course) as we often struggled with the reception outside on the terras. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful home with wonderful surroundings and a great pool.

We loved our stay in this charming and beautifully restored Mas just outside St-Remy in Provence. The owner was very helpful and so accommodating to our group. And the housekeeper Zora was lovely. We really enjoyed the large kitchen, ample outdoor seating and the amazing heated pool. The House was everything we could have hoped for. But if I had to make a constructive comment, it would be that it seems reasonable to expect a rental home would have some toilet paper and dishwasher soap upon arrival. We certainly wouldn’t expect a weeks supply. But there was none so we had to quickly get to the market for these items. Small item and certainly not a reason to complain at the time. We would go back and stay in a heartbeat.

Nice property and great location

Our family of 4 adults and 2 kids (4y old and 6m old) stayed at this property for 6 nights in early October. The pictures are accurate and the house felt roomy, though a bit more soft furnishings and rugs would have upped the comfort level. The patio and pool were also both nice to haves. Weather was hit/miss this time of year, so we didn't use them as much as we wanted. Well in advance of our stay, Martine and JL were responsive to my questions about the house and the area, even giving me some pointers on how to arrange a guided bike tour (I went with a rented bike and pre-loaded bike routes). Check in itself was relatively smooth, though the person that services the house doesn't speak english, which is a little difficult if you don't speak french. The local bottle of wine on the table was a nice welcoming gesture from the hosts! You're on the edge of st-remy, so while it's walkable via a bike path, it's more feasible to drive. Being the end of the tourist season, we had no problem finding parking around the town to pop in to a boulangerie or the local Spar grocery store. In the end, we loved our distance from the cute towns around the Alpilles region. Overall, the house is a reasonable value for the money, especially if you're able to take advantage of the pool and outdoor area a bit more than we did.

Super Mas où nous avons passé un super moment en famile. Nous regrettons un manque de propreté et une odeur de renfermé lors de notre arrivée. Les hôtes ont été très arrangeants quand à l'arrivée et au départ. Le mas est très bien situé et super agréable et lumineux pour passer un bon moment en famille. Bien équipé.

Sehr schönes Haus in der Provence

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Teenagern für 10 Tage in diesem wundervollen Haus. Die Lage ist in der Nähe von St Remy de Provence ca 2 Kilometer außerhalb der Stadtgrenze sehr ruhig gelegen. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail renoviert und erweitert worden, die Ausstattung der Schlafzimmer und Wohn/Essbereiche lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir waren über Ostern hier und haben viele der Sehenswürdigkeiten der Provence von hier aus besucht (Nimes, Arles, Avignon, Aix en Provence, Marseille, Les Baux etc). Wir werden gerne wieder kommen bei unserem nächsten Besuch in der Provence.

Séjour très reposant

Nous avons passé une semaine très reposante dans le joli Mas des Opies avec nos trois enfants. La maison se trouve en retrait d‘une petite rue sans trafic, le calme étant ainsi garanti. Le jardin avec la piscine chauffée est très grand et bien entretenu, la piscine est chauffée et il y a de nombreux transats sur lesquels on peut se reposer à l‘ombre des grands arbres. A l’intérieur, toutes les pièces sont joliment décorées et la cuisine est bien équipée. Saint Remy est à 15 minutes à velo via une piste cyclable séparée de la route, donc facilement faisable avec enfants. Le contact avec les propriétaires a été très agréable. Nous retournerons avec plaisir!

Our stay at Mas des Opies

We had a very enjoyable stay the peace and quiet was just what we wanted in beautiful surroundings. Jean-Louis and Martine were very helpful from start to finish. The Mas was equipped with with all a needs and comfortable. Zona the house keeper is very warm and welcoming. We were also happy with the pool and the WiFi connection 😆 One more thing was Jean-Louis and Martine allowed us to take two of our dogs which we were very happy with. Thank you once again

Superb Family vacation

Mas des Opies is in a great location just outside of Remy De Province but close to all amenities to make it a great place to stay to explore this area of Provence We were a family party of 10 with age ranging from 20 months to 69. The house is well appointed with 4 large bedrooms upstairs that our children and grand children had, whilst we had the downstairs bedroom, All bedrooms are air-conditioned so sleeping was never an issue. The house is well appointed with more than enough space for the 10 of us. The kitchen is a good size with everything you need and a big table so everyone can eat together in comfort. There is also a large table and barbeque on the terrace where we spent many evenings. The house is fully equipped and was clean and very tidy when we arrived and we wanted for nothing. We had a couple of small issues which Jean Louis sorted quickly and efficiently The pool and the garden are also excellent with a huge amount of room for the children to play safely. We would highly recommend this place and give it and the owner 5 stars. The place is so convent for seeing the area and we were out and about most days. We wood recommend days out in Arles (we took in the Bull games in the Amphitheatre), Avignon, St Remy, Gordes, Pont du Gard (take a picnic and have some fun canoeing and swimming there), and Chateauneuf du Pape for Wine, Les Baux de Provence and the superb show at Carrieres de Lumieres is a must

Wonderful Stay!! We loved it!

We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful home in Provence. Martine, Jean-Louis and Zora made us feel extremely welcome. The house is large and comfortably accommodated our entire family of 10. St. Remy is a charming village and its residents were so warm and friendly to us.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour en Provence dans ce beau Mas rénové. Les propriétaires sont très avenants et répondent rapidement. La propriété était propre, calme et reposante. La propriété est idéale pour une petite famille ou une rencontre familiale comme ce fut le cas pour nous durant la première semaine de notre séjour. Le village de Saint-Rémy de Provence est à quelques minutes en auto ce qui est vraiment pratique. Nous songeons fortement à séjourner de nouveau.

Endroit calme et paisible

Belle maison bien aménagé. Grand jardin avec une piscine agréable. La maison est aménagée avec soin
