El mas "Les Oliviers de Saint Paul" fue construido en 2006. La villa se encuentra en privado en su propio jardín de 1000 metros cuadrados, y fue diseñada de acuerdo con el estilo tradicional provenzal, recordando una de las antiguas casas auténticas en el pueblo.

El típico pueblo de St Rémy de Provence se encuentra cerca de la ciudad de Aviñón y del famoso pueblo de Les Baux de Provence. Disfrutará de los beneficios del estilo de vida provenzal, como caminar por el casco antiguo de la ciudad, disfrutar de sus restaurantes o experimentar su mercado provenzal único los miércoles, reconocido como uno de los mejores de toda la región.

La villa ha sido diseñada al estilo de una casa provenzal tradicional y tiene capacidad para 10 personas. ¡Es el más adecuado para familias y / o grupos de amigos! La villa se encuentra de forma privada en su propio jardín y tiene su propia piscina. Dominique ha puesto su toque de decoración interior único en toda la casa, creando una atmósfera altamente provenzal con una mezcla de muebles modernos y tradicionales.

La casa tiene cinco habitaciones (una en la planta baja y cuatro arriba) con vistas a las colinas de Alpilles, el casco antiguo o el Mont Ventoux. Cada uno de ellos tiene su propio baño. Allí, tiene a su disposición: gel de ducha de aceite de oliva, jabón, champú y acondicionador, pañuelos y almohadillas cosméticas.

La sala de estar bien amueblada y su antigua chimenea de piedra lo mantendrán acogedor en cualquier época del año. La cocina tiene un estilo típico francés y está bien equipada. Se abre a una terraza a la sombra, donde se pueden hacer barbacoas.

Hay una piscina (10 x 5,5m) con acceso seguro para niños.

Las luces iluminan suavemente la propiedad en la noche.

Planta baja:
La casa distribuye una gran sala de estar y comedor, y una cocina y comedor. También hay una habitación en este piso.

El salón tiene ventanas francesas que dan al jardín y dan a las montañas Alpilles. Una chimenea, un gran sofá, sillones están aquí para hacerte sentir como en casa. Para su entretenimiento, hay una biblioteca con libros en inglés, así como un televisor y un sistema estéreo con reproductor de CD / DVD. Se beneficia de una conexión inalámbrica a Internet de alta velocidad para acomodar su computadora portátil. Un pequeño lugar es adecuado para niños con mesa, sillas y algunos juegos.

El comedor está amueblado con una mesa de comedor con capacidad para 10.

La cocina está separada del hall de entrada y está totalmente equipada para cocinar con chef francés: gran variedad de platos y platos, fregadero grande, una gran olla Smeg con horno eléctrico y cinco placas de gas, microondas, cafetera, Nespresso máquina, una caldera, una tostadora, una nevera / congelador grande y un lavavajillas. Una sala de lavandería está equipada con lavadoras y secadoras Bosch, una plancha y una segunda nevera / congelador. Las vainas para la lavadora también están disponibles.

La suite principal tiene una puerta francesa expuesta al sur que se abre hacia el jardín, una cama King o dos camas individuales con mesitas de noche, una cómoda, un armario y un pequeño escritorio de madera. Una ducha italiana en el baño, junto con un lavabo de estilo antiguo y baños separados te harán sentir cómodo.

Primer piso:
El piso superior muestra cuatro habitaciones más con aire acondicionado (¡NUEVO este año!) .

El primer dormitorio está amueblado con una cama Queen, una mesa redonda con sillas, una cómoda y un armario. Hay un baño privado con lavabo, ducha grande y aseo. Está expuesta al sur, tiene vistas a las montañas Alpilles, el jardín y la piscina.

El segundo dormitorio está amueblado con una cama King o dos camas individuales con mesitas de noche, una cómoda y un armario empotrado. Hay un baño con bañera y lavabo. Esta habitación también está expuesta al sur.

Las otras dos habitaciones ofrecen cada una dos camas o una cama King, una mesita de noche, una cómoda y su propio baño con ducha y lavabo.
Ambos miran hacia el norte en el Mont Ventoux.

Fuera de :
La cocina se abre a la terraza sombreada con una mesa de terracota para 10 y una barbacoa de gas.

El jardín está plantado de olivos y tejos, lavanda, romero, flores y césped. ¡No olvides nuestra joven higuera y sus frutos muy sabrosos! Un jardinero se encarga de eso.

La piscina (10 x 5,5m) muestra un acceso seguro, equipo de natación a contracorriente y sillas largas.

Se accede a la propiedad a través de un carril privado y hay suficiente espacio para estacionar dos / tres autos.

La casa está a 10 minutos a pie del pueblo, lo que hará que cada uno de sus viajes sea muy conveniente.

Prior to our visit, Dominque was a responsive host answering questions and providing us with so much information about the area and recommendations. 9 friends stayed at this property for the week and we all thought it was outstanding and would highly recommend it to all! It was convenient to the center of town and other attractions such as Van Gogh's sanitarium and the Glanum Roman ruins. St. Rémy was a central point for our daily adventures usually within an hour's drive of the town.The house was appointed with every accessory that you would possibly need! Many beautifully landscaped outside areas to sit and enjoy nature, quiet and our friends! The beds were comfortable and the whole house was cozy and welcoming! We would love to come back to this area and would stay here again!

We knew St Remy from previous stays in Mausanne les Alpilles and it is a beautiful area. We liked being in a quiet location but really handy for the town centre,10 minutes walk. The house was lovely, very well equipped and very clean. We had a wonderful stay. best wishes Martin

Fabulous house!

We had a fabulous week at this beautiful house in the heart of provence. The garden is magnificent and the house is perfectly located. The house is maintained very well and ammenities are excellent. The owner was so easy to work with, answering all of our questions ahead of time. We would return here, again, with no problem!

We game here for a trip down memory lane and the house suited out purpose purfectly. Very comfortable house, beautifull garden, nice swimming pool! The beautyfull blue eyed Michael was a helpfull English speaking host!

Charming Provencal Mas in St Rémy De Provence,

We were a group of 10 adults, and had a lovely time at this property. It was well equipped and had enough room and privacy for everyone. It was a short walk to town and ruins. We did not have a car with us and the van we hired for day trips had trouble getting to the house because of the driveway. The owner left lots if information about the town and Carine was available to answer any questions that we might have.

The house was amazing. Secure entry via remote control gates. Lots of space. Our party was 6 adults and two children. Plenty of room for us all. Beautiful garden. Fantastic pool. Well fitted kitchen. Disappointed with the communications from the owner/company.

Best French House Ever

We lived in Paris in the 1980s and since retiring in 1997 have rented holiday homes in Provence and Occitanie about 40 times. Without doubt, this was the best house we have ever stayed in. Not only was the house spacious and beautiful, its location was perfect. In one direction it was a short walk to the the excellent St Remy market. In the other direction it was a short walk to the splendid Greco-Roman ruins at Glanum. We give the house the highest possible recommendation and hope to return soon.

Walking distance from St Remy, an ideal Provence village

This very well provided large home is a 20 minute direct walk into village center & a 5 minute walk from the hospital where Van Gogh spent a year & did much of his later works. We were 6, 3 couples & each had a king bedroom with en suite bathroom..there were 2 extra bedrooms we used as dressing/storage. The kitchen had every thing we needed including olive oil, balsamic vinegar, spices, all sorts of glassware, plates,& implements, we missed a coffee grinder & salad spinner but didn’t expect them…this house was better supplied than any other I’ve stayed in. The garden is large& well maintained & of course a large pool but it was a bit too cool to swim yet. Towels & sheets were of good quality & plentiful, really everything is well thought out making it quite comfortable. I would stay again without any hesitation

Fun in Provence

We absolutely loved this property!! It was everything that was in the listing and more. We ate breakfast every morning inside at the lovely kitchen table. We ate dinner every night outside under the arbor. We never used the dining room table; no need! The weather was perfect so we enjoyed the beautiful garden!! We didn't have time to use the pool but the pool area was lovely too!! We walked down the lane to St. Remy and it only took 10 minutes!! Such a great location for a vacation home. We had everything that we needed to make a perfect week for 4 couples sharing a house. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of toilets and showers for everyone. We paid our deposit when we arrived, took good care of the house and furnishings during the week, and received all of our deposit back from Christian the next Saturday. We were so pleased and we would rent this house again if we were to visit Provence again!!

Charming

My family of six adults and two children just vacationed at this lovely home and we all agreed that it was a perfect place in which to relax and enjoy St.Remy. The house is well equipped. There were enough bedrooms for all and the layout allowed for everyone to have privacy and space. The pool was a great size and well maintained. The landscaping is beautiful. We had many meals al fresco while enjoying the garden. The kitchen is large and had everything necessary for cooking and serving. The owner, Dominique, was gracious and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Her property manager was most helpful and easy to contact. There is a large notebook provided containing all of the necessary information about the house, St.Remy and the nearby sights. Many interesting places in Provence are within driving distance. The town was an easy 12 minute walk from the house. We were well pleased with everything and plan to return.

Absolutely beautiful!

We were seven in total and the house was large enough to accommodate us all. The owners have taken great care in making the experience for their guests truly feel perfect, and communication with the owner was great. The house does not lack one thing. All is available for you to feel right at home. The house and linens were very clean. The grounds are amazing with the plants and the trees and of course the pool. The location could not be more perfect as you are a ten minute walk from the center of town in one direction. And another short walk in another and you are at the Roman ruins, Van Gogh’s asylum, a winery and the lake. The only improvement needed is in the checking in and out process. We did not hear from the property manager on how to access the property and what the codes were to open the two gates until literally the last minute. We were forced to park our car in town and try to walk towards the property to see if anyone was there waiting. And upon checking out after having agreed on a time with that same property manager, another person showed up to collect the keys, late, delaying my brother-in-law’s departure. This did not affect our vacation or stay but did create a bit of unneeded stress.

Séjour de charme dans une maison de rêve

La maison est idéalement située au calme et seulement à dix minutes de marche du centre de st Rémy. En été il y a la piscine !et y lire sur les transats placés tout autour est un bonheur entre les séances de nage .La propriétaire a tout prévu comme équipement pour y être à dix personnes de manière confortable. La cuisine est idéale et le salon est chaleureux. La procédure de départ est d’arrivée est réglée parfaitement par la charmante Carine la manager. La propriétaire est fantastique et répond très vite aux questions éventuelles.Chaque chambre est climatisée et dispose de sa salle d’eau .

Charmante maison à st Remy de Provence

La maison est charmante, située au calme au bout d'un long chemin. Elle est hyper bien équipée. Très jolie terrasse ombragée .le seul point négatif fut la procédure d'arrivée: J'avais à deux reprises demandé par mail à la propriétaire le n de téléphone du responsable sur place, pour l'arrivée et avoir les clés. On m'avait assuré que cette personne me téléphonerait, il n'en a rien été. J'avais précisé à la propriétaire que nous serions à 16 heures sur place ,et à notre arrivée : personne. Moment d'angoisse, car le téléphone de la propriétaire est sur la messagerie. Heureusement, le responsable nous rappelle et nous attendons une demi heure son arrivée. C'est le seul moment qui ne fut pas parfait. Manque de communication. Le personnel sur place que nous avions demandé est plus que gentil et efficace . La maison est arrangée par des personnes qui aiment la région et la cuisine est hyper équipée. 4 chambres sont climatisées. Coin piscine absolument parfait.Mon souhait le plus cher; y revenir.

Que du bonheur !

Nous avons réside dans cette demeure pendant une semaine. Nous étions trois couples de jeunes retraités. La propriété permet beaucoup d'espace pour chacun et chaque couple y a donc ses propres quartiers. Il n'y manque rien . Tout a été bien réfléchi. La cuisine est très grande et permet que tous peuvent participer à l'élaboration des repas.Le lieu est très chaleureux et on s'y sent très bien des l'arrivée . Nous y avons passé d'excellents moments qui seront enregistrés dans notre mémoire à jamais. Un grand merci à la propriétaire de son hospitalité.

Exceptional stay at Les Oliviers

This is a belated review of our exceptional stay at Les Oliviers. From the moment we arrived for our four week stay we felt at home. Never in our experience of renting holiday houses in France, USA and Australia have we found such a gem. The house is very well laid out and spacious. The bedrooms are all well fitted out and the beds comfortable. The weekly house cleaning provided by Carine and her team significantly reduced housekeeping for our long stay. For one of the weeks we had 10 adults staying and found that there was enough space for all of us to sit and eat whether inside or out. At no stage did anyone feel that their space was cramped. We also made good use of the pool and garden. The eat-in kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses and cooking equipment. The SMEG cooker was ideal and put to good use by our group, all whom are keen foodies. There is an extra refrigerator in the laundry which came in handy for cooling the wine and beer as well as the overflow from the kitchen refrigerator. The laundry is well set up with separate washer and dryer and there is plenty of outside clothesline space. We comfortably parked two cars but found that we could squeeze in three medium sized cars at a pinch. There are plenty of extra spaces at the St Paul de Mausole car park about 250 metres away, if needed. St Remy is an ideal place to base yourself in the western part of Provence. During our stay we went to at least 20 “must see” attractions within an hour’s drive as well as little bit further afield to Aix-en-Provence and Marseille. The St Remy, Eygalieres and Maussane markets are well worth going to for fresh produce, meat and cheese. The Intermarche supermarket has everything and the smaller Super U Express (within walking distance) is handy for last minute items. Thank you Dominique for creating such a wonderful place to stay.

Exactly What We Dreamed Of......

We stayed for memorable 2 weeks in September l with our family. The house was perfect- 3 couples & 3 toddlers,. the owner was very accommodating, providing 2 cribs & high chairs. The large house is 10 yrs old but old Provençal style, meticulously cared for with 5 bdrms. The downstairs bdrm is isolated from all house sounds- great for us the grandparents-separate show & toilet room & small office/play area/bedroom. The 4 bedrooms upstairs can be used individually or as separate, 2 bedroom suites. There were plenty of showers, sinks & toilets for all & 1 bathtub. The living space was perfect for the 9 of us, furnishings simple, chic & easy to childproof! There is a large dining table in the open plan living room dining area. The well equipped kitchen had a large table & chairs too. Working dishwasher, washer/dryer, outside drying line. We ate outside daily in the lanai with large table and French café chairs right off kitchen. The well kept and landscaped yard had grass & a large fenced in pool , Parking for 2 cars. Location Ideal: quick walk into town & easy access to restaurants, cafes, & shops –so we were largely car free! It was a shorter walk to the asylum where van Gogh spent a year, the Mas de la Pyramide, where we took the kids for lunch amid ducks, geese and peacocks, & its 92 year old owner, and the nearby Roman ruins at Glanum. Very closeby by car: Les Baux, Arles, Avignon, etc. Some rented motor assisted bikes (a must with the hills). A weekly outdoor market in the town & a merry go round were a major hits! The produce stores were good, there are very good patisseries and boulangeries, etc and reasonable restaurants in the town so shopping for food was easy, fun, high quality. Les Baux hosts a 2 star Michelin restaurant. Nearby towns were unique & wonderful to visit. Locale: 30 minute drive from Avignon TGV station (rental cars) & 50 minute drive from the Marseille airport outside city.. In summary, this is a great house & location, outstanding owner/managers-perfect for a family reunion including small children, short walk to town so you can live Provencal! We are recommending it to our friends and hope to return in a few years with the family again!

Fantastic house for large family

We had a very nice week in this wonderful house, celebrating our 70th birthdays. We were a 3 generation family, 6 adoults and 5 children( 6-18) and the house was just perfect for us. We never felt crowded. A lot of nice meals were prepared in the Kitchen which had everything a cook needed. As it was very hot in July we spent a lot of time by the pool. The children loved it.We took small tours in the wineyards and neighbourhood on our bikes, but it was too hot for more!! St Remy is simply a gem we loved strolling around in the streets. In the house were the bathrooms provided with savon liquide etc.and fortunately we found a shop in St Remy, where we could buy this soap and bring the smell back to our home and think of Les Oliviers when using it. We would like to to come back but next time in September. Carine was a perfect accomodating housekeeper. Thanks to you, Dominique, for lettings us rent your wonderful house.

Great property in a prime location

We enjoyed a week+ of a family vacation here, the house really has everything that you may need. We were with small children and the house had both a cot and a high chair. The kitchen is large and the dining area is by the living room. The location is great , we could get to all of the key attraction in the area within less than an hour of driving, which exactly what we were looking for, plus some attractions within a walking distance (Wed Market). The house was fully equipped and st Remy is really 10 min away, had a little nice town and a good grocery store within a driving distance. It was an Ideal place for us Thank you

Perfect Villa

We were a group of 6 long-time friends celebrating our 60th birthdays, and spent a week at this villa. This home was perfect in every way. The kitchen was very cheerful and extremely well equipped. The living areas were spacious, and bedrooms very comfortable. The landscaping is lovely. We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor dining area. The views from the villa were very much like a Van Gogh painting. It was an easy walk into San Remy and up to St. Pauls and Glanum. San Remy is a very charming town, and is in a great location for exploring other sites in Provence. We would recommend this villa to anyone - and hope to return.

Magnifique séjour aux Oliviers de Saint Paul.

Nous souhaitions un séjour ressourçant sous le ciel de la Provence et ce fût le cas. La maison est idéalement située dans le village de Saint Rémy de Provence, à 800 m à pied du cœur du village. La vue sur la magnifique chaîne des Alpilles est indéniablement un point positif. Nous avons pu partir de la maison à pied, pour visiter le site de Glanum ainsi que faire des jogging et randonnées dans les Alpilles et rejoindre le village des Baux de Provence. Nous avons également pu descendre à pied faire quelques emplettes dans Saint Rémy, village provençal typique à taille humaine, avec de très bons restaurants, bars à vins, et autres échoppes de produits régionaux. La taille de la maison permet à la fois d’être en groupe et d’avoir des moments pour soi. Chaque chambre est équipée d’une belle salle de bains. Les lits sont très confortables. Le salon permet de passer des moments très conviviaux, ainsi que la cuisine provençal typique et la terrasse ombragée d’une tonnelle accompagnée du barbecue pour les soirées entre amis. La piscine est juste parfaite, sécurisée pour les enfants, et avec différents niveaux permettant à la fois les plongeons et les jeux de ballons. Le jardin est très joli avec de nombreux oliviers et des coins de verdure ce qui nous a permis de faire des parties de badminton. Saint Rémy est situé au centre des lieux intéressants de la Provence, nous avons ainsi pu visiter la ville d’Arles, le Palais des Papes d’Avignon, les villages typiques aux alentours avec Eygalières pour son huile d’olive, les Baux de Provence et sa cathédrale d’image. Enfin, en tant que passionnés de vins, nous avons pu déguster sur les domaines de quelques vignerons locaux. Châteauneuf du Pape est à peine à 45 min de route. Dominique est toujours disponible pour nos questions sur la maison et sur les bons plans des alentours. Après ce séjour, nous recommandons vivement les Oliviers de Saint Paul et nous espérons avoir le temps de revenir très prochainement.

The Quintessential Provencal Experience!

I HIGHLY recommend this lovely home in St. Remy. I celebrated my 40th birthday with friends and their significant others, so this large home was perfect. We also hired a personal chef that Dominique had recommended. I love Provence and hope to return someday. Thank you Dominique for such a memorable experience! Pros: - Location, location, location. There is so much to explore that is walking distance, from the charming and ritzy town of St. Remy, to the Glanum, Picasso's mausoleum, and more. Great hub for driving to explore the Provence region. There is something for everyone. - Walking to delicious restaurants and charming shops - Gourmet kitchen and all the equipment - Alfresco patio dining - we spent many breakfasts and afternoons hanging outside, playing games - Lots of dining areas if you plan to eat local - Master bedroom is located in a private wing - Spacious house for large groups! - Large pool Cons: - While there are multiple bathrooms, I believe there are only 2 true master bathrooms (one downstairs and one upstairs); the remaining upstairs bedrooms (3 of them) have a private sink/shower in the room, but share a toilet (or 1/2 bath) in the upstairs hallway. Then there is another toilet (1/2 bath) downstairs.

Since the first time my husband and I went to Saint Rémy de Provence, we have been dazzled by the Alpilles light, the characteristic scent of the provencal markets, the taste of the olive oil and of the rosé wine of les Baux de Provence. Our dream then, was to build a house where we could welcome our children and friends. Saint Rémy's charm and authenticity were the reasons of our immediate choice. We hope you'll have as much of a great experience of the unique Provence lifestyle that St Rémy provides as we did and still do.

We love Provence and its lifestyle, the light, painted by so many artists like Van Gogh or Cezanne, the sunshine weather. We choose St Rémy as it is a charming and lovely village. The house is a ten minute walk from the historical center, which makes it very convenient. It is in a very quiet area and the pool and the garden are very peaceful. Finally, the access is very easy from Paris (2hrs 40min by TGV train)

The open-air provencal market (on Wednesdays in Saint Rémy):this regionally well-known market will offer you a varied choice of fresh products, provencal fabrics, locally produced olive oil. You will be amazed by the profusion of colors and scents which will submerge you!
You will love to cook these beautiful fresh produce in the large kitchen very well equipped for a "chef"!!

The Alpilles Hills: These hills are very close to the house and the tracks can be used by any walker (children, families, hikers), runner or mountain biker. Road bikers also enjoy the unique landscapes of Provence and can bike from the challenging Mont Ventoux to the flat Camargue.
Walking from Saint Rémy to les Baux de Provence: You will enjoy an amazing view of the region all along. For photos lovers! Don't forget a visit at the Cathedrale de Lumieres, a unique light and sound show located in the former quarries.
The Golf courses: There are several beautiful golf courses in the area, such as in les Baux de Provence (18 holes: Domaine de Manville) or Mouriès (18 holes: Domaine de Servanes, our favourite, a magical place)
The easy access: the TGV Avignon train station as well as the nearby Marseille-Marignane airport allow you to come either from Paris, Lyon, Marseille or anywhere else in Europe in a very short time.
