Somos una granja de 18 acres ubicada en las colinas de Dade City. Venga a relajarse y disfrutar de la vida tranquila de la vida en el condado. Tenemos muchos animales de granja tranquilos con los que usted puede interactuar, y también estamos justo al lado de Trilby, donde muchos ciclistas disfrutan de la capacitación en algunas de las pocas colinas de Florida.

Great location for a last minute escape from the cold. We were 1 mile from miles and miles of paved bike paths. Directions, arrival and check in were easy and accurate. Unit was clean, beds were great. Our dogs were happy, we enjoyed talking to the goats, horses, pig, cats, and the peacock was pretty spectaular.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The "cabin" was very clean and comfortable. Dona was very friendly and hosted us for a tour of her rescue animals. Close to Dade City if you need to make a trip to the grocery store or local restaurants, but still out in the countryside where it's quiet. Would definitely book again.

This was a great place to stay. Its an older cottage but super clean and a lovely property. Ms. A was so sweet and gave us a little history on each animal. I would recommend this home, especially if you love animals!

Wonderful place to stay, feed animals & relax!

We had a great time staying here for a month. Dona and her mother were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The farm/wildlife rescue is WONDERFUL, and we loved feeding Miss Piggy, Lance & Lucy, Clyde and the rest. Internet was a bit slow at first, but now that Starlink is up, it’s just fine. We loved that we were able to have our dog & cats with us. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again when we’re in the area!

Intimately sized yet never cramped, plus Kevin!

Our stay was wonderful! The only negative being that it was far too short. There's a huge tub of Lincoln Logs, literally the most I've ever seen in one place, and yes, I used every single piece in a massive creation. The animals like Miss Piggy (she appears to be about 800lb of pure love and she craves grilled cheese sandwiches) and Kevin made the stay most memorable. We can't wait to come back and explore more on the property and in the local towns, like Dade Cit.return!

Most amazing place and people!! We spent a few days at cocoa beach then a 5 day cruise and a night at Florida breeze. Which was the highlight of the entire trip the property is beautiful and well kept and the animals are amazing but what really impressed us was the people. We meet the mom, daughter and granddaughter. They really made us feel welcome and like family we wish we would have just spent the week there. This property is an absolute must see!!

Nice!

My wife and I stayed the night so we can have easy access to the Withlacoochee State Trail. The owners of the stay were super friendly and the place was clean and cozy with great water pressure in the shower to relax oneself after a long day of riding a bicycle. The tour of the animal sanctuary was an added bonus. What the owners are doing for these animals is amazing. Downtown Dade City is a short five minute drive with access to restaurants and coffee shops, etc. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed 3 days. The apartment was spacious. My Aussie was happy. Its clean and comfortable. I had the pleasure in meeting the host, wonderful people, very down to earth. Great location. Close to cities in a short drive but you're in a lovely rural area. I will definitely return.

Amazing place

Amazed with the cleanliness of the apartment and friendliness of the owners. The apartment is a converted barn/horse stalls and they did a great job making it feel like home away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, and even a crock pot! We toured the sanctuary on our 2nd day and Dona’s passion for the animals shined as she told us about each one and her efforts to conserve some of the species she houses. We cannot wait to return.

Road leading to property requires a 4x4 vehicle. Road is not paved and can be damaging to a car. The unit has VERY firm beds. The tub requires you to climb several steps to get in (seemed unsafe). The icing on the cake was the large German cockroach my wife discovered inside the toilet paper roll.

Hi! I apologize that you did not enjoy our place! To clear up some facts I would like to address your concerns: 1. I have a small 2 wheel drive Honda Civic coupe that I have used daily to get to my property for the past 12 years with no problems. We also have the dirt road listed in the description of our property. 2. We have year old memory foam mattress in all bedrooms of this place. I apologize that they seemed firm to you, but while you do not like a firm mattress we do have others that enjoy the mattress. In some areas you will not be able to make everyone happy, this is one of those areas. 3. Yes, the tub has 2 steps to get into it. We've had 2 different plumbers look at the tub, but unfortunately we have to keep it this way so it drains properly. This also is shown in our property description photos as well as mention in the property descriptions. 4. We do have a regular pest control company that comes and sprays, but we live on a farm. With that having been said it is difficult to keep all bug out when you leave doors open. That is why we have signs on the doors asking for you to keep them closed. Again, this is also listed in our property description. The bug is question was a palmetto bug and not a large German cockroach.

So FUN and Dona is phenomenal

Dona is a PROFESSIONAL exotic animal steward. They are not her “pets” though she loves them all. They were surrendered to her and her family by various people who bought them through exotic pet dealers. Do not go here expecting to hold a lemur or play with a fox. It’s an absolutely gorgeous place and an honor just to see the incredible animals she cares for. The apartment is just perfect for a nice little stay and taste of farm life

Base camp for visiting family.

This was our second stay. The location is central to our children and granchildren. We like that this rental is very dog friendly and our grandchildren can see and experience a the animals and life on a working family farm. Our grandbabies wear boots when they walk about as a true farmer should.

Beautiful property, great customer service, but lacked maintenance

My family and I came here for the night while I was working out of town. We were all so excited to stay here based off reviews and pictures. Dona, was great with communication and very sweet and welcoming in person. She had the best little country accent and When we arrived her lovely dogs greeted us at the car and were all very friendly with us and our two kids. The farm was beautiful and well maintained, however The apartment needed a lot of maintenance and updating. Due to finding a very large black widow and her massive amount of egg sacks immediately upon entering the screened in porch leading into the apartment, we were very uncomfortable staying and were worried that our two year old would get bit if not paying attention. We ended up booking a room at a nearby hotel instead of staying at the farm. We did not ask for a refund as it was our choice not to stay.

Best Kept Secret

We were in Dade City for the annual Bug Jam. We were looking to add to our experience by staying in a quaint VRBO instead of a cookie-cutter hotel, as we have done in the past. This place far exceeded our expectations. Loved being one with nature and enjoying all the animals at the farm. Our dog enjoyed it too. She now has lots of new animal friends. Thank you Dona and Mom for welcoming us and for a great little getaway!

Perfect in every way!

The "farm apartment" looks exactly as the photos show. Dona and her mom, Aleta, were the perfect hostesses....but allowed a perfectly private stay. I am retired from working at a zoo....so if you love animals....this is a dream come true! I needed to find a place to stay while I waited for the closing on my new home...and a place that would accept my two cats, as well. This beautiful farm is "out in the country" but was still about 30 minutes away from my new home. My GPS worked great and got me right to the farm with no problem. Honestly, the next time I need a "little getaway" I would totally want to stay here again. As a single woman, I felt perfectly safe, too. I have friends from out of state, and I told them, you don't want to stay at my house....Stay on the FARM!! This was my first VRBO experience, and I just cannot stop raving about it! Dona, Aleta, I feel as if I have made my first New Friends in my new home state! Thank you for everything! AND...the beautiful roses on the table were such a classy touch!
