Secluded Cabin on Lake

We had a wonderful time. Thank you for the hospitality! Was great to get away just husband and I and spend time together. Was way too hot to fish, but that wasn't the hosts fault. The fish were jumping a bit too.. Next time!

Early summer get away

The house exceeded our expectations. Kitchen was very well stocked and clean. Just a beautiful place. The nearby town, Farmersville, had everything we needed and the people were very friendly. The only downside for us, we were on a fishing vacation with a boat. There wasn’t a good place for the boat. Tree tops were numerous along the retaining wall in the back, apparently from a storm that had gone through . Just no place to store/charge boat. The public boat ramp was very close however.

8th Year Anniversary

We were celebrating our 8th year wedding anniversary and this property did NOT disappoint. We were looking for a place that was on the water, private, and serene. We did not have to go anywhere as everything we needed was supplied. My husband and I have found our newly getaway location. We absolutely loved it. I highly recommend this place, it is indeed a home away from home. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful place.

Best fishing around

We stayed the weekend here for my sons 10th birthday because his one request was to be able to fish all weekend. He stayed outside from the time we checked in until it was time to leave. Everytime he threw his pole in he got a bite and they were all nice sized fish. The area is very quiet and we LOVED the house. It felt so cozy and we were all so comfortable. We will definitely be back

Quality time needed

The property was beautiful. My fiance loves the outdoors and water. It was our 1st anniversary and his birthday weekend. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Our weekend together was absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your property. Will have to do it again with the kids and grand.

Very nice property & house

Both the property and house were very well maintained. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and stocked with the basics. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning at some point.

Beautiful cabin we loved it!

Me and my family stayed in this lovely cabin if your looking for a peaceful beautiful beautiful place to spend time with your family on the lake this is the perfect place to go bring your family we had such a relaxing time from swimming to fishing the views wow breath taking we have stayed at alot of cabins this one is one of my favorites bring your food and your family what ever toys like boat it's definitely worth it we had a blast thanks the Johnson family

Clean and relaxing!

Perfectly clean and very nice house and furnishings. The back porch was THE best. We we’re a little disappointed in the location on the lake as we were there for swimming and we didn’t like the swimming accessibility or that it’s T the end if a small cove. As far as a place to relax- Wonderful!

Out of the way, GETAWAY!

This was an off the beaten path getaway! Very clean and spacious for a two couple retreat, or could see children loving it! No car traffic, no boat traffic, and no people traffic! Perfect for me , the wife, and my senior parents. Enjoyed our stay, thanks!

Home Again

This property was amazing. My family thought this property was perfect. The lay out of the cabin and the roomy living area was nice. The bedrooms were separate of each other and allowed privacy for all. We did not pack games or activities and to my surprise there were games in the closet. Everything was easily accessible and clean to my satisfaction. The only thing that was challenging was the steep drive way. But we figured that out by parking on top of the hill or backing down the driveway .

Home away from home

What a wonderful setting to escape to for a few days. The cabin was all it was promised and more. Sitting on the deck watching the water is good for the soul. We enjoyed the use of the boat house for our week of fishing. Can’t wait to stay again.

Great getaway place

We went for a long weekend and this place was wonderful. The weather wasn't as cooperative but it did not matter. The lake house had covered porch area from which to view the lake and the house itself was a true home environment. For those needing to stay "connected" they have a good wifi. This was a plus as my sister did have to do some work while at the cabin. I highly recommend booking this listing and we are ready to do it again in the future.
