Wonderful three bedroom, three bath condo with fabulous mountain views of Shortoff and Yellow Mountain. One of the best views anywhere! This beautiful upper unit features a vaulted ceiling with beams and a stone fireplace in the living area. Oversized master suite with long range views of the mountains. Two additional guest bedrooms with one located on the main level and one located on the upper level. The open floor plan is perfect for entertaining. The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a wet bar. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and majestic scenery in the large screened-in porch with its own fireplace. Just minutes away from both Highlands and Cashiers. There is no access to the golf course or club amenities with this unit. Holidays are a four (4) day minimum.

The location was very central to both cashiers and Highlands. I have three boys ages five, seven, nine and they may have been a little bit loud for the downstairs Neighbors. The only other complaint would be the lack of water pressure. I still give this visit 5 stars.

Delightful stay once again

The fall weather was perfect and views looking out across the valley and neighboring mountains was spectacular. The unit is very nice with 2 fireplaces, one is on the outdoor balcony which we always use a lot. The units is wonderfully provisioned but could use some updating, especially in the family room. Overall, very safe, comfortable, quiet and lovely.

Beautiful condo and great location to Cashiers/Highlands

Upon arrival we were approached by the tenant below us letting us know which parking spaces were ours (they weren't designated btw) and taht we should not make noise after 10pm. and before 7am. she also let us know the walls were very thin and she coud everything that we said and did which we found odd. Never bothered us during our stay tahnk goodness. Just want to make renters aware. A couple of suggestions I would like to make is it would have been perfect if there had been a grill.Also, I would recommend having the twin beds upstairs and the full bed (preferably a Queen) downstairs. My parents are in their mid eighties and can't do stairs so they slept separately in the twin beds.Overall, we would return and recommend.

Views and Tranquility

Reviewer Comments: The location is very convenient, being halfway between Highlands and Cashiers.The layout of this condo is great and the views are wonderful. We stayed here 3 years ago in October and returned mainly for that reason. Both times we stayed for 7 days.There are several reasons I can’t give all 5 stars. The fireplace gas would not stay on and didn’t work at all the last 2 days of our stay, including Christmas Day. The carpet and some furniture have stains, but they are clean.Although the kitchen has plenty of pans, it lacks serving pieces. Red light weight plastic bowls don’t match the quality one would expect in a luxury condo. Due to Covid-19 we were cooking and dining in. I would also suggest more than 2 bath towels per bath, and extra blankets in winter. With low temperatures and high winds during our stay, it was impossible to keep the downstairs bedrooms warm. Even with the heat set up, they were 63 at night.

Never Again Townhome in Highlands Cove (Called Old Edwards)

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: POOR..the Townhome was in rough shape. The carpet was stained in numerous places from Pets, the carpet needs replaced. The furniture wasn't comfortable. And to top it off the 3 beds had only a sheet and very thin cheap blanket - no bedspreads! The cable didn't work for 5 days and I had to sweep all the spider webs off the porches.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Woww, is what my family and I said from the moment we walked in the door. Shannon and Eddy were both responsive from first contact. We rented the condo at the time the governor impacted strict cleaning restrictions. Shannon explained the restrictions and reassured me that my family would be safe and well taken care of by the property agent, Eddy. Eddy was prompt calling and ensured we were comfortable. The condo is very clean and passed the "cool" factor for our High School daughter and Middle School twin sons! Our daughter loved the private upstairs bedroom and the house was comfortable and had an amazing kitchen, screened in porch area with fireplace. We had one day of rain, but no problem we hung out in the screened porch that boasts two tables/chairs and rocking chairs by the fireplace. Our toy Eskie and I loved sitting on the spacious deck overlooking the mountains in the morning and evening. Let me say the views of sunsets and stars at night leave you breathless! Everything is close from trails, waterfalls and downtown Cashiers and Highlands. The kids did not mind getting up early to walk the club grounds and on hikes. Downtown Cashiers enjoy the local farmers market for fresh food and laid back eateries. We will be back to this condo again. The kitchen has everything you need and is very large. If you are looking for a place to relax, get away and enjoy nature in a clean and comfortable. Shannon thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to my family in uncertain times. We will absolutely be back! Love the equestrian pictures.

You won't leave before you take a picture of one of the magnificent sunsets looking over the mountains. It is well furnished and the beds are comfortable with lots of extra sheets and towels. A basket of toiletries is provided in each bathroom....a very nice touch. Kitchen is well furnished, and the living space is quite large and comforable. We bring our dog too!
