Uno de los últimos lugares "ma & pa" en Clearwater Beach. Hermoso apartamento de un dormitorio de segundo nivel. Habitación privada con cama king size de california, baño completo justo al lado del dormitorio. TV por cable en ambos dormitorios y sala de estar. Cocina completamente equipada y sala de estar con una gran vista de las aguas intercostales de Clearwater Beach. Un buen solario está justo afuera de su puerta que también mira el agua. Muy cómodo, tranquilo y hermoso entorno.

Great location! View is awesome!! Place is old and a bit run down, but we enjoyed our stay there without any real issues. If you don't need a fancy 5 star hotel, this place will work for you. They are still repairing and remodeling after the hurricanes devastated the area in 2024.

This place is very cute. It has the beach feel that we wanted. Marta was extremely nice and since it was a slower weekend she even let our friend park and stay with us for no extra cost. They are still a few things to be repaired from the hurricane, but those things were clearly stated when I was looking to book. The price for this particular area is amazing and we will definitely be coming back here.

Weekend beach trip

Travel for beach wedding, great beach weather, hot and dry, room was just what a single guy needed, place to make coffee and comfortable bed to sleep in but this place needs some tender loving care.

Horrible. Dangerous. UNSAFE. STAY AWAY. RUDE OWNERS

This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I can not believe VRBO lets this place stay active. OMG. The upper deck is absolutely UNSAFE. Caution taped off, carpet over the decking and very unlevel. The railings are damn near ripped off the entire place. The owners were RUDE. Gave us attitude and the middle finger. No joke, he actually gave us the middle finger. What a class act. Gave us threats of being kicked out because we had visitors for an hour. The front door is not even serviceable. The bathroom has no faucet on the shower head. Ceilings are falling apart, cracks and half assed repairs. The bushes are overgrown, so plan on getting scratches on your legs and luggage.

It was a little more rundown than pictured

Everything was old and outdated. The back deck overlooking the water, the railings were falling off of it. I mean, I guess it was all right for the price. And the beach was right across the street.

This place could use some cosmetic upgrades and some structural upgrades. The decks are falling apart, some of the building is deteriorating in some spots, the entrance door was so warped you could see light through it. Wasn’t able to shower there, because shower head only provided a mist of water. (Needs a new shower head). Don’t get me wrong this property is great for the price and location just needs some maintenance done to it. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable, the place was pretty clean, the host is very friendly and the location is excellent!

Location!

Our stay at Bay Royal was lovely. The people that stayed on our floor(4 groups) were all so nice. Everyone keeps there doors open( which faces the water ) to catch the breeze and visit with one another! Love that vibe!The place was clean and very Florida beach feel from the 50’s. One block from Clearwater beach and also on the Inlet gives it an amazing location!Would definitely stay here again! Lots of restaurants in walking distance and super parking!

This apartment is DATED. They defiantly did not put money back into this place I gave it 3 stars cause the front door is warped and doesn’t shut all the way and there was no shower head in the bathroom worst shower ever. It served its purpose for just sleeping but lord it’s dated.

Quick getaway

The property was in the direct line of the last hurricane so there is damage as expected. However Marta was Milan’s helpful and allowed us to check in early. This is an older but nice, clean, safe and close to beach bungalow. I wish Marta and Mike the best in their attempts to rebuild their property and lives

Safety issues need attention

First impression was not great as the walkway to get to the staircase is very narrow and shrubs are overgrown. The staircase seems unsafe, doesn’t even look like it’s up to building code standards. Our room was upstairs and the walkway was covered in layers of outdoor carpet, apparently to cover up a rotted balcony because at one point, my foot went into a hole while I was carrying my luggage to the room. The deck is falling apart and has several loose boards making it very unsafe for guests to walk on. The outside rail of the upstairs deck is falling over and actually has caution tape on it. I took pictures but don’t see a place to upload the images.There is a stack of 2x4’s beside the front sidewalk with nails sticking out of them. The window into a/c in the living room doesn’t work well so the living room was warm our entire stay. I realize that making improvements would make the cost go up but honestly, $400+ that we paid for our 2 nights there was way too much! It seemed that we were the only upstairs guests, maybe downstairs give a better rating because they don’t walk around to the back side. Very disappointing!

Extremely disappointed!

My sister and I had to sleep with a chair in front on the front door because the door wouldn’t close. Toilet wouldn’t flush properly and when I called host they never called me back. The deck was hazardous , had holes and yellow tape around it. 😢

Adequate but dated

If you have problems walking in the heat, this is not the place for you. Window air conditioning and the place is dated. Decorations are nice. Climbing the steps might prove difficult for some but we were aware of that. This place is plenty spacious for 2-3 people. It was adequate for A 2 night stay. Use the trolley, parking is difficult.
