Property is very well located close to Union Station which makes it convenient for transit to various sites. Overall we enjoyed the property and it met our needs. It is minimalist regarding kitchen supplies; so preparing meals is a bit of a challenge, but we found a way. If planning another DC trip, we would certainly consider staying at this property again.

Would book again 100%!Property was clean and well-equipped. It’s a quick walk to Union Station but the street itself is very quiet. Coffee shop on one corner and a deli/small grocery shop on the other. Big grocery and lots of restaurants within a mile. We used a car service to the Smithsonian but could be a longer walk or quick bike/scooter ride. Metro was easy to access at Union to get everywhere else. Host was quick to respond and very helpful. We had a wifi issue at arrival but was fixed within 15 minutes!Highly recommended.

Wonderful comfortable two bedroom and three and half bath. Perfect for four people but could occupy six if needed. One block from Union Square to take the subway with many fast food places to eat. Place was immaculately clean. Host was great to communicate with and responded to any questions that we had. We will certainly stay here again in the future

Great home base for visiting all of DC. Walking distance to the capitol and the mall. Easy access to union station to catch the metro or hop on hop off busses. Home was very clean and comfortable. Several good restaurants within walking distance

The property was wonderful. Clean and comfortable. It was within walking distance to most museums and sites in Washington DC. We found a little market 2 blocks away and a wonderful Italian restaurant nearby. Having Union Station close was nice with its restaurants. We felt safe wherever we walked. Our host was always available to answer any questions we had.

Wonderful Place to Stay

The place could not have been more perfect for the 4 of us. It had everything we needed and more including a great patio. Location was spot on and the owner was so very helpful with anything we needed. We will definitely come again to DC and stay here.

Nice place to stay while visiting Washington DC

Conveniently located, comfortable place to stay while visiting Washington DC. Union Station is a short walk and the Metro gets you close to most of the things you would want to visit. We prefer a VRBO to a hotel because of the flexibility to prepare meals and a home type relaxed lifestyle while on vacation.

Quiet neighborhood with easy Metro access

My family stayed here during a vacation in DC and we were able to walk to everything we needed, including the metro station at union station. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and we really enjoyed our stay.

The house was clean, updated and the location was great! For visiting all the sites on the national mall, this was fantastic. It's a very short walk to Union Station with access to Metro and the DC Circulator.

Great location and super clean

Spring break trip to DC for our family, and this townhouse was perfect! Comfy beds greeted us each night after a day full of site-seeing. The Urban Kitchen and Ebenezer’s proximity made for easy and delicious breakfast stops! The hosts were communicative and helpful. Highly recommend this VRBO!

A Week in DC

Having stayed at this property in the past, it was an easy decision to book it again when a week long work trip dropped on my schedule. Family Trip

Myself, my wife and 2 kids went to DC for a few days to visit the usual sites. This place was perfect, as it was in a good neighborhood with a 6-7 minute walk to Union Station and a number of good local eateries within a block or two. Everything was as advertised, clean, and easy to access.

Beautiful Property

This beautiful townhome exceeded our expectations. Ideal location and comfortable surroundings. Parking is available at Union Station and with the Metro right there you don't need a car. There are coffee shops and markets very close by. We thoroughly enjoyed Thanksgiving week in DC.

Amazing Space, Perfect Location

Situated between two great coffee shops and a darling (and delicious) Italian restaurant and a five minute walk to Union Station, the location can't be beat. The townhouse itself is spacious and comfortable; we especially liked the back patio. I was here with my parents and my two sons; the space worked and we all had fun. Lovely and highly recommended; well worth the price.

Place was as advertised. Great location! We parked at Union Station ( 5 minute walk ) and either walked or used the Metro ( subway ) during our entire stay to avoid DC traffic. Convenient coffee shops and snack/drink stores on both ends of the same block. Liquor stores 2 blocks away to the north & south, and plenty of restaurants within a 15 -20 minute walk. A 15 minute walk to the Capitol building. Spacious & clean rooms. Very nice neighborhood too ( which surprised me as a rural PA resident leary of big city crime ). Very happy with this spot!

Great location and quiet neighborhood!

The location is absolutely perfect for Washington DC sightseeing and only 1/4 mile from Union Station and about a mile to the Mall and other monuments. The kitchen is not set up for major cooking, but there are many places to eat in walking distance including Union Station. The beds were very comfortable. The primary suite shower is included with tub. We felt totally safe walking in the neighborhood. We would stay here again!

Fabulous! Indeed a "home away from home"!

Highly recommend over a hotel! Clean, modern, tastefully decorated property (kitchen to die for) with an outdoor sitting area (needs outdoor chair cushions though) ! Excellent location, only a 1/2 block walk to Union Station with daily parking available and city tour buses every l5 minutes. Giant (grocery store) only 2 blocks. Perfect location

Couldn't have asked for a better location for a family trip to DC. 5 minute walk to the Metro and groceries. Small cafe a block away. Union Station has 25 places to eat and a variety of fares. Home was beautiful yet a relaxing retreat at the end of the day. Spacious, extra air mattress was appreciated by our son. Kitchen had everything you could ask for. Would highly recommend!

Pros & Cons

I really liked the unit and the location. It was spacious, close to Union Station for multi-day parking, and an easy walk to the Capitol area. Also big plus is having Union Kitchen steps away. The communication with the property managers was very good. But....we did have bugs (ants and roaches) in the kitchen a few times and the master bed needs to be replaced. The back porch was just weeds and roaches; it would be nice if it were kept up with a little table out there. Just some TLC suggestions.
